Bayern Munich have quite a history when it comes to this competition and much is expected from them every season they compete in the Champions league so it is not something new. PSG desperately want this trophy as bad as they show, probably the first they will be winning in this competition and they have showed they have what it takes to also be champions on several occasions but lack that winning mentality and extra push to grab it but we shall see how well they have improved from the previous outing when they face Bayern Munich in February.

That game between PSG and Bayern could be a final match or a semifinal one. It is unfortunate to see it that early and it is damn hard to know which team will win and pass to the next stage!
Bayern is a very solid team and whenever they are fit they can humiliate every team they face regardless of their ability like the 8 goals vs Barcelona. Nevertheless they have weak moments where they play badly. PSG needs to win UCL even once, they have one of the most powerful line-up since years and it is like we win that title this season or never again!
I cannot decide which team to back, even the result of the first leg cannot be helpful imo.

I am guessing that PSG will probably win if nothing goes unexpected, but this is Bayern we are talking about, they could end up winning too, they are very good and they are good for 90 minutes and barely get tired, so anything could happen.

Dortmund and Chelsea have had bad luck in their respective leagues but when compared to the UCL for me it will be different even though they have their own weaknesses but obviously every team wants to improve their weak position while the transfer market is soon they will definitely prepare names to be recruited in the winter to strengthen their respective teams.
Back in the Champions League, Chelsea can overcome all of this, this is my prediction, they can be better than their domestic league, so I think in this match Chelsea is more superior for me.

Both Dortmund and Chelsea will not be dissatisfied with the draw. Individually Chelsea seems stronger to me, but Chelsea is having a difficult season. There are still two more names besides those mentioned by @bering as Bayern Munich's goal machine so far this season, and he is Serge Gnabry. In fact, there is a young Bayern Munich midfielder who has a very good goal total too, and is not inferior to the Bayern Munich striker and that midfielder is Jamal Musiala at the age of 19.

Who can defend more rather because if both clubs are capable of scoring then the defense has to step up to save the game as the less chances one teams gets, the lesser their chancs of scoring and winning the game. Bayern Munich is a very dominate side in the champions league .They can always score lost of goals even after the days of Luwadusaksi leading the team to victories. Many fans thought with his departure that it'll slow the Bayern side but that seems to not be the case as they're one or the highest scoring side this season. Bayern Munich plays more as a club then PSG as the PSG side are dependent on just three players to score goals but with Bayern, it's a collective effort.

The dominance of Bayern Munich in the champions is been overshadowed by the fact that they don't win much trophy in the competition but that doesn't disregard the fact that they're brutal when playing other teams and destroys them with lots of goals just like Manchester city. Approximately in the last 20 years they have won just 3 ( 2001, 2013, 2020) which I think put them as the third clubs with the highest trophy in this period just behind Barcelona with 4. Bayern Munich always has an advantage in the game and they're likely to win.

To be honest, it's difficult for us to predict, considering that Bayren Munich is more consistent than PSG in the group phase. Bayern Munich got perfect points by packing 18 points, and only conceded twice. although Bayern Munich, does not have a definite Target Man. but their players can be counted on to score goals.

on the other hand, although PSG did not get perfect points to become group winners and had quite a bit of trouble against Benfica. However, that doesn't mean they can't beat Bayern Munich in the last 16. the reason is, PSG's first leg played as the home team. I am optimistic that the game will be controlled by PSG.
these two teams are my favourites, I just hope they show their best game in the match later.
