Instead, I want to see how Pep Guardiola carries his squad in the Champions League. whether he is able to defend the title, with some of his newcomers. yep, if Bernardo Silva and Gundohan leave in the transfer window, it is even more likely that Mahrez will also have the potential to leave. if so, will City be as fierce as they have been this season, I'm really very curious. even so, I'm pretty sure City remain the superior team.

Well, if Manchester United is successfully acquired by Qatar. Most likely, they will be quite strong competitors in this competition. to be honest, I'm pretty sure with Ten Hag's ability to mix his squad into a strong team, they will be much better than what they have shown this season.

On the other hand, I don't expect much from the Gunners in this competition. but at least, with some newcomers they have to prove their toughness and solidity. this team, is my favorite squad than the other teams that I mentioned.
I think they will be, they just won three cups in a single season, thats a lot of money even for them, I don't care how rich you are, making close to 100 million just on the wins should be something quite big for you. So lets say Gundogan left, can't they just spend 100 million they won on a single player and get someone instead?

I honestly expected them to get Jude for that place, he would have been the most perfect transfer they could ever do and would fit like glove, they didn't and it's alright. I think it would be possible to put another 100 million on that, and with 200 million they could get 2-3 players, all to replace the ones that left. This is why I believe they will do what they need to do and could make a great return and potentially win it all again.

How much more will the Arsenal team be underrated in the champions league even after they did exceptionally well in the premier league last season? They’ve just qualified for the champions league after their great performance in the premier league, let’s wait for the champions league to start before making assumptions on who is stronger to go far and those that will be eliminated from the first round of the competition. Every team is a star here after coming so far to reach here, so let’s see how the outcome of the group stage will be before we can at least start making speculations.
Every team that earned a spot in a champions league matchup had excellent seasons in their respective leagues, just like Arsenal did. No champions league-eligible team should be given less consideration than the others. However, in this instance, it is unclear which group the Arsenal club will play in or face off against during the group stage matches, which will influence whether they are able to advance or not. As you have stated, once the Champions League matches begin and the clubs have been divided into various groups, we will be able to determine whether or not a team like Arsenal advances to the next round.

Pep Guardiola and Manchester City had all of the potentials to win the Champions League, but, I'm just a biased Manchester United fan when it comes to this aspect, and due to sentimental reasons, I just don't want to see Manchester City win the Champions League once again next season, it should rather go to the Italians thna return to Manchester City. Lolz.

The Qataris are currently leading the race to buy Manchester United, but it seems like glazers are still sending messages to the other parties to increase them bid if they're to beat them. Erik Ten Hag's a great coach, with the support of the Qataris, he'll get quality players, capable of fighting for Manchester United.

We'll see bout the gunner's, I do not undermine them. But same squad used fir the Premier League can't be used for the Champions League. They're to make sure they get quality players for depth also.

I see where you're coming from - it's tough to sustain high performance over multiple seasons. Even Manchester City, led brilliantly by Guardiola, can't guarantee repeated victories. Just look at Real Madrid with many Champions League titles - they weren't all back-to-back wins. Other clubs will surely up their game, looking to outplay City in the future. So while we applaud City's current performance, we must remember the unpredictable nature of football.

It is true that there will no longer be even impossible for a European club that is capable of a UCL hat-trick for three consecutive seasons. But Real madrid has done it. Even though Man City has appeared perfect this season by winning three different competitions next season it will be difficult to defend it. Because it's easier to get than to maintain.

So far as Manchester City have Pep Guardiola they still have the chance to win the Champions League next season, Pep Guardiola is the main engine box for the Victory of Manchester City in Champions League this season. Pep Guardiola is a coach that understands how to win trophies and how to use players to get what he wants. I know Manchester City does not have much experience when it comes to Champions League but they have a coach who is capable of making a squad to be tough to win competition.

Next season Manchester City will still  remain one of the best team in the Champions League, but it won't be very easy for them because teams like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will improve and to do better than what they did in the  concluded  Champions League. No doubt that Manchester City is a strong team, but it was so possible for them to win the league because of the poor performance of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
After Pep Guardiola managed to win the first Champions League title for Manchester City in history, I'm sure he will get more and more support to build a stronger team. Manchester City's owners were so pleased with the achievement that they even invited him to the palace for the celebrations, so naturally Pep Guardiola will have plenty of support from him.

Pep Guardiola can make Manchester City have a flashy history in Europe if he can defend the Champions League title next season, but I'm sure the Champions League competition will be even stronger next season. I don't want to say Real Madrid are very strong without Benzema, so they won't be more favorites than Manchester City next season.

It'll be boring watching Manchester City winning the Champions League once again next season, I wasn't disappointed they won the treble, unlike some Manchester United fans, yes I didn't get want them to win the treble, but if it happens next season nah! I'll be damned.
Hahaha.
Manchester United? They're yet to get new players, they need a great depth because they'll not just be playing the Champions League, but to also qualify for the Champions League next season. I hope they get player's capable of fighting for Manchester United.

I also think that Manchester City is again one of the big favorites to win the Champions League again in the next season. First of all they are the defending champions then which automatically gives them a special status and in addition to that they are simply the strongest football team in the world in the last 3 or 5 years or so.
That being said, i definitely think that the chances that ManCity wins the CL next year again are definitely way lower than another club wins it. It is very hard to win the Champions League and most of the time it is not enough to be the best team. You also need luck, timing and efficiency.
Other candidates for the title in my opinion are Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Manchester City won the Champions League trophy, Premier League title and FA Cup this season. They were one of the favorites and a successful team this season. Manchester City are considered one of the Champions League and Premier League favorites for next season. Manchester City as well as Real Madrid and favorites are on the list for the Champions League.
They are not 23-24 favorites with the team that led Real Madrid to the Champions League final in the 2022/23 season. So they are trying to sign some new talented stars in their team. If they can sign those players according to their plans, Real Madrid will be hot favorites for the Champions League next season.
There are not any impossible for winning Champion League back to back because Real Madrid success won three time in a row and all myth about teams can't become the winner is broken by Madrid. Manchester City success treble winner in this season after winning Primer League, FA Cup and Champion League trophies in this season and waiting for Pep Guardiola consistent bring Manchester City will get treble winner next season or continues for winning Champion League trophies.

Real Madrid could be favorite team for winning Champion League next season after success  signings many talented star players, but can't guarantee depend how consistent and chemistry new player signing by Madrid.

You mentioned how good arsenal in EPL and you forgot how bad arsenal in UEL. I think that premier league could not become a reliable bench mark to know how good arsenal in UCL. It will better if you take the result from europa league as a better metric.
I say that caused by there was a reliable data to take such conclusion. It's caused by how easy arsenal to be beaten in europa league. UCL will be far different compared with europa league. That's why i will say that if arsenal will not able to win UCL.

Lol, after all who predicted Arsenal would win the Champions League title? So in this case, I admit that Arsenal are still not strong enough to compete further but still, if Arsenal can get into the round of 16 it will also be a good result. After all, the fact is that the draw hasn't been made yet and we don't know what kind of group Arsenal will be in. So yes, in this case at least it's not only Arsenal but also other teams who still can't be sure of getting a good result, and you also don't forget about Barcelona how bad it has been in the last two seasons in the Champions League.

What gives you the impression that Manchester City won't be able to accomplish what Real Madrid did by winning the champions league back-to-back by the next season? Manchester City currently possesses the best team that can defeat any opponent. The only thing I am aware of that would prevent Manchester City from winning the Champions League by the next season is if they sold or loaned some of its important players to other teams, or even if some of their players sustained major injuries that would have a negative impact on the team's performance. Apart from that, I don't think anything can stop Manchester City from reclaiming the champions league title.
It is very difficult to maintain a high level of play over several seasons, after every peak there is a decline, and besides, other teams can be much stronger next season, until we know how Bayern will play, or what to expect from Real Madrid, Barcelona or other teams . Guardiola did everything right and City looked very good at the end of the season, but in previous seasons everything was not so perfect, so I'm not sure that things will turn out as well for City as they did this time.

Yeah I'm also curious about Manchester United's potential for next season from now on. As of Sheikh Jassim's taking over by paying billions of dollars, the transfer window should be much more active for Manchester United side. If they make big transfers to aim more titles next time then I will see Manchester United as one of the serious title contenders in the Champions League.

They are in search of a striker for example. Harry Kane's name has been called with them a lot. But according to The Guardian, they have lost their interest due to not being keen on paying an amount over 100 million euros.

Let's see if they can bring back Alex Ferguson's times who won the CL trophy twice with them.  Smiley
Although Sheikh Jassim has taken over from the Glazers but we still don't know how big their budget will be for the current transfer window perhaps it is still being considered and Erik Ten Hag is still looking for some talent to fill in for the start of the new season.

Harry Kane's price is too expensive but this is still associated with several other clubs, maybe at this time he is still trying to negotiate with several other players, I would be interested if Man United brought in a lot of players in this active transfer window.

I'm sure Erik Ten Hag has the potential for that but of course it takes a process to get back to his former glory.

There is no fact or guarantee that because Manchester City has coach Pep Guardiola they will win next season's champions league. Pep had to wait for many years before he became fortunate to win it this season. Man City has always qualified for the Champions League and Pep failed to deliver the cup to the owners and fans of the Sky Blues for many years. I will say the club was fortunate to get the best players that had the winning mentality. The club have some of the most hardworking players in the world and they deserved to win the cup. But Mancity should start looking for a substitute for Kevin De Bruyne. He is such an exceptional player that will be very difficult to replace him. But it seems that the club is overdepnding on him but he always delivers.

Real Madrid is really preparing for next season. The arrival of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund for close to 100 million pounds. The 19yrs wrote a heartfelt message to Dortmund and it's fans thanking them for their support and kindness. He said he joined the club as a 17-year-old boy and he is leaving as a man. The England midfielder has learned so much in two years to become one of the best in Europe. In two years he grew very fast to become a mature man. Newcastle is another club to watch out for in the next season's UEFA CL.

We can't say much at this point but I'm pretty sure that City won't win it again. They need 1 bad game in knockout stage and they will be out. Going 2years without bad game it's really hard and City does not have legacy of Real M to do that.

If Manchester City lose Bernardo Silva, Gundugan and Mahrez, that will free up space for them to sign more players that might not earn as much as these players. Manchester City have a very solid project. They don't just sign players because they player is good or available. They sign players that will fit into their system. The player doesn't have to be a superstar. Halland and Grealish are the only players City have signed that were world class players before they got to City. Man City are going to be very busy in this transfer window. I believe they sign like 4 or 5 players.

Well, if Manchester United is successfully acquired by Qatar. Most likely, they will be quite strong competitors in this competition. to be honest, I'm pretty sure with Ten Hag's ability to mix his squad into a strong team, they will be much better than what they have shown this season.

I'm curious to see what would change if Manchester United is taken over. I mean has there ever been a time that United have wanted to sign a player that money was the reason they couldn't get that player? Money has never been Manchester United's problem so I'm really curious to know what the new owners will do differently. United have spent almost as much as Man City but they have nothing to show for it. The reason is simple, they spend so much on the wrong players. They don't get good coaches and if they get good coaches they don't trust they and give them time. Ten Hag is a good coach, but he's not getting the trust Ole got, maybe because he is not a former United player.
Manchester United need to start signing the right players for their manager and they also need to stop looking for quick results. Rebuilding takes time.

It's actually boring for M red fans but it's not for M blue fans. I remember that when real madrid was winning UCL three times in a row. It's not so boring as you said.  Cheesy
As long as the competition even more competitive compared with the previous season and i don't even care how many times manchester city will win UCL as long as it will able to do that again next season.
The performance from the club must become the main concern here.

The summer transfer season was just opened yesterday and there are still lots of time to go. Manchester united may give a transfer surprise before the end of summer transfer season.

Apart from that, I don't think anything can stop Manchester City from reclaiming the champions league title.

There is still an exception to this; they did incredibly well this season, earning them the champions league trophy, and no team presently holds their record in football history as far as the previously concluded season is concerned. But we can't be certain of what other teams' performance will be like next season in comparison to Manchester City's. While speculating, we may give Manchester City full confidence in winning the trophy again next season, but in reality, we need to observe how other clubs perform when the next season begins to determine who will win the title in the end.
It is difficult, but not totally impossible for Manchester city to win the Champions League for the next season.
Why you look at the squad of Manchester City, they possess the most squad dept of any club in the Europe.
And  from recent seasons, Manchester City has always been winning the UEFA best team of the year, even when they are unable to win the Champions League. This is the say that for almost three seasons, Manchester City has been the favourite team to win the Champions League, but they were unable to win it. So if they have been the favorites for like three seasons ago, there is no guarantee that they will not be the favourite in the coming season, especially when they are even going to reinforce the squad.
It will be very difficult for Man City to win UCL next season and I can place my bet on it. Do you know how many attempt they made before they finally won this season. Other clubs are out there planning and making their own strategy on how they can win next year UCL. Money talks bullshit walks, most clubs will get new players to strengthen up the team and City wouldn't,that will be the beginning of their downfall. They can be king of EPL but can never do that in UCL,Pep or no Pep success is for all clubs and not for a specific club. Apart from Real Madrid, no club has won it back to back and it can never be Man city who just manage to win it for the first time, will be the one to win the next back to back. Assuming City met with Barca this season in any match which was impossible. I still have that strong feelings that Barca would have won them.

I already have a list of favorite teams
- Manchester City
- Real Madrid
-Bayern
I'm curious if there's any particular reason why Barcelona isn't there? They finished La Liga in a dominant fashion.

I didn't expect outrights for next season's winners to be out this early but here's what's on your list.
City - 3.0
Madrid - 10.30
Bayern - 7.30

Rollbit bookie is almost with you there. PSG is currently at third with 9.90 while Barca is @11.90

Maybe it's too early to bet since there's still the transfer window but probably not bad putting some money on your favorite team if odds are over 10.

these are very interesting odds that show how the market is pricing the end of the local championships and the champions league

Manchester remain the super favourites, but that's just to price any bets made now

I think it's way too early because summer transfers hasn't been made. Like for example the talks about Mbappe going to Madrid is something we are not sure about right now, Mbappe says he wants to stay for another year and then leave, PSG says they will sell him if he doesn't extend right away, which means that it is not going to be that easy to convince him to extend, and yet would be hard to sell him.

If Madrid somehow does get him, these odds would change drastically, like imagine how good they will be within one season, and I think I would put them above City without a doubt. Of course this isn't guaranteed, we are not sure, so we just need to wait for the summer to end before we can make any decision on who will win the next one.

Too soon to say which team can have more than the 2023-2024 world cup, but with the current situation we see from most of the teams, Manchester City have a much better situation and they can have more chance even for the next Champions League.
But on the other hand teams like Real Madrid is hiring players and rebuilding the teams and they are preparing to take revenge and win the title.
Manchester City won the Champions League trophy, Premier League title and FA Cup this season. They were one of the favorites and a successful team this season.
