A draw will not benefit either team because one of them must fight to get a full victory in the remaining matches and I'm sure the match will be quite tough to maintain the victory. PSG performed poorly in the Champions League but it was different when they were in Ligue 1 which so far has been quite consistent. Unlike Man City who are experiencing a decline in the Champions League and the Premier League and it is still quite difficult for Pep Guardiola to motivate his players to perform better.
The match between Manchester City vs PSG in the remaining matches in this standings phase can indeed be very fierce because both will try to win and will both receive quite high pressure because there must be a winner in the match in order to get a chance to qualify for the playoffs. And from the remaining matches that must be faced by both teams, I think both must be able to win for their last match or after they meet in the next match because if Stuttgart can win in the two remaining matches it will also be very dangerous for PSG and Manchester City's position in the Champions League standings.
PSG has an inverse performance in the champions league compared to their ability in ligue 1 at the moment, in contrast to manchester city who actually slumped in the champions league and the English league this season, so I think the match between PSG and Manchester City will be difficult to predict given the poor performance of manchester city and also the low mentality of PSG in the champions league so far, so it is very realistic if the match will probably end in a draw, even if there is one team that wins, in my opinion maybe it's PSG who actually looks more convincing than Manchester City, according to the key to PSG victory in the match is to take advantage of City defensive weaknesses which are not in their best performance this season.

This will be more interesting, both Manchester City and PSG, both clubs must be working very hard to win this match, a draw is not the target of both teams, i can't predict who will win, not only Manchester City but PSG is also performing quite badly, they only won 1 of the last 5 matches, with 3 defeats and 1 draw, even if Manchester City wins, i believe they will win with a thin score.

It is difficult to predict this match but PSG has a chance to win the match because it will take place at home. This season looks so difficult for both teams when competing in the Champions League and both have lost the best moment to collect points in several previous matches.

Manchester City needs to do something if they want to qualify for the playoffs, and winning against PSG will really help them to qualify, and it will be difficult for them to win at the same time while PSG is also in need of the win to secure a better slot for their playoff qualification, as they are currently seated in the 25th position in the Champions League table.

However, their performances in the Champions League are almost similar, just that PSG in their domestic league is still ahead with a 10-point gap due to a lack of intense competition among the Ligue 1 teams.
Due to Champions League experience, I am expecting PSG to lose or draw to Manchester City because they always disappoint in the Champions League, and considering Pep Guardiola, he will do everything in his power to make it to the round of sixteen to save his team.

One thing must happen in that match but the thing is, if you consider the current form of both teams you will understand that they are almost in the same level of performance so if they draw it won't be a surprising thing to me, though PSG is doing well in there league side but not very consistent, atleast they're better than Manchester City when it comes to league football,  buddy as you said it is almost impossible to predict who will win in that match but there may be multiple goals in the match because both teams concede and score too, though lets see what happens but despite how bad manchester city perfomanace is, I still see them as the favourite in that match, though I won't conclude yet but that's my personal view.

Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. As the most successful club in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid is currently facing difficulties in progressing to the knockout stages of the competition but having well experienced manager like Carlo Ancelotti as the club manager I think gives them the needed advantage over their opponents in the remaining two group stage games. Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
They will definitely qualify for the next phase because regardless of how they performed at the start of the season, they are one of the possible clubs to qualify for the next phase even though they will probably enter the play offs as an option at the moment.

The start of the season was not favorable for them due to some internal problems especially when Mbappe's adaptation was not as expected and many players were injured which made Madrid a bit of a shock in terms of their performance at the beginning of the season but when it comes to experience, a great coach and of course quality players then obviously Madrid can come back from the downturn and now we can slowly see that in their performance on the field.

So, there is no reason to doubt them in competitions including the Champions League because despite their poor early season performance, they are still one of the favorites to qualify and even one of the candidates to win as usual.

Their 7th match will be against Salzbrug and their 8th match will be against Brest, statistically they do look below Real Madrid but anything can happen. If they win, of course the end of the Madrid league will get 15 points. But you have to know that the team above Real Madrid also has the same chance to win 2 times. So I think they'll have a hard time getting into the top 8. They seem to have to go through the playoffs. The change in format made everything change. It seems that this season's UCL champion will also be different.
I have no doubt that Real will make it to the playoffs, and then in head-to-head matches we will see another team, I have no doubt that Ancelotti knows how to set up players for important games and I can’t imagine who can beat Real now, with the exception of a few teams, perhaps Liverpool can do it, but it will depend on the draw, at what stage they will meet, maybe only in the final, and then everything will be decided by one match, so don’t rush to conclusions.
This is true, Ancelotti had some bad seasons too, like that season when Barcelona won the league and Real also lost the UCL as well, that season they won nothing and that was a bad season, but usually during his tenure, they win more than they lose.

So I think when this group stage is over, we are going to see them do much better, and we are going to see them have a lot better results without a doubt, it is not going to be easy, but it is going to happen and we will see them do fine, it is going to be very strong without a doubt.

At playoff stage, I check the teams between 9th place and 24th place and there aren't that many teams that can rival Real Madrid to be fair, do not think that it would be that easy to beat them. Considering how strong of a team they built, the only reason they are this much down is because they are looking at something that is looking a bit different and because of that we are going to end up with a much different approach.

For Salsburg, I think Real Madrid wouldn't find it difficult to beat them but considering Brest's performance in the UEFA Champions League competition this season, I think they'll pose a major threat when they host Real Madrid on 29th January for their last game of the group stage. The French club have been one of the dark horses of the competition this season and since that game will be played in their own home ground, I expect them to go all out for a win knowing fully well they have nothing to lose since they're playing against the reigning champions but at the end, I predict a Real Madrid win regardless

I have different view over this. I meant Brest is at the top, but they often fought against the weak teams. It's kinda different when they are gonna face Real Madrid. This pretty much the same situation like when Real Madrid fought Atalanta.

Real Madrid at the midtable, and Atalanta was topping the competition by winning all of ez games, yet they able to destroy Atalanta.

What's the difference then?

But these games have a different setup, especially when Real Madrid needs the win and Brest doesn't. If Brest wins the next game or gets a draw, I think they could be in the top 8, but of course a win would seal the deal for them. Real Madrid has to win both their next games to prevent that they have to go through the play-offs.

Now consider the results that Brest had so far and who the opponents were. You can't do this "team 1 has beaten team 12 and therefore team bla bla...". It will be a totally different game as Brest has a great position and they can focus on their own game, what's more they can go into full counter attack mode because they don't need three points. Can they score goals in the Champions League? They definitely can and they didn't lose against Leverkusen, which I think shows how good they are in defending as Leverkusen is a team that has beaten Inter Milan, but couldn't beat Brest.

It is still a tough route to leave behind for Real Madrid in order to qualify via the top 8.

PSG and Man City will certainly try hard to avoid sharing points, because each of them really needs it. A win will give them a path to the play-off round, while a loss will knock them out of the Champions League early. On paper, even though Man City are performing worse than PSG at the moment, personally I feel that victory tends to be on their side. Of course I could be wrong, because the final result of the match could be the opposite. The managerial qualities of Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique certainly need not be doubted, but their strategy can only work optimally if all key players are available. This match will not take place until the end of January, which means both teams have the opportunity to rediscover their best form

Manchester City broke their successive losses of points in their last game of the years and that might be a good sign for recovery. Pep Guardiola is trying to fight until the end and he is willing to fight for something. Unfortunately it is quite late for English Premier League, especially that Liverpool is shining, and it is his chance to try to grab UEFA Champions League title for the second time. Otherwise Manchester City will stay without a title this season.
PSG in the other hand is quite stable but it will not have a chance against Manchester City if the latter team played like they used to do in the previous season
Yes, it might be good news for the fans and give new hope in this new season and restore the team's confidence to do their best in the second half of this season, the chance to win the title in the EPL is getting smaller because the points difference with the top of the standings is very far but in the UCL Man City still has hope if he can appear impressive and qualify for the next round.

A draw would be catastrophic for PSG and it would be just fine for Manchester City because they keep the distance to PSG and they have their last game in their home stadium. I think a draw would probably give them a spot in the play-off round since Stuttgart and PSG are playing against each other on the last match day and Dinamo Zagreb plays against Arsenal and AC Milan. So yes Manchester City wouldn't like it, but they would be ok with a draw. PSG would be in huge trouble then as I don't think the game away from home against Stuttgart will be easy as it is do or die for Stuttgart in that case they will play on a higher level than usual with respect to physical intensity. That is not going to be an enjoyable game for PSG as Stuttgart will go all out or all in actually.

I do not trust Manchester City to win because of their recent performance. And I do not trust PSG to win because of their performance in the Champions League competition. I take the real competition is going to be between the coaches actually. Pep and Lewis Enrique. Both of them are really good coaches. both of them have achieved a lot in their career. And I think at the end of the day it is going to come down to who has better top things on that given day and is able to implement the tactics well enough. Of course, there is also a question of players being able to execute the plans. Both of the teams will go for a win in this match. So I am not expecting a draw as well.

I do agree that Real Madrid will be in top 24, but that doesn't put them in the last 16, that puts them at the playoff stage, and if they win that game then the yare going to be at last sixteen. Considering there are a few strong teams at playoff stage, it is not guaranteed, they could even face PSG or City, which are very strong teams that are doing terrible these days but we do not know if they will ever have a comeback.

All in all, we need to realize that we are going to end up with a much better result, for Real Madrid, they need to gain that momentum back.

Mbappe seems to be playing much better, he had a rough adjustment period, but after everyone was injured and he was the only one, they did figure out how to use him and that helped them a lot, even when everyone came  back, that knowledge was there and this benefited them a lot. We are going to see them use Mbappe better and Real Madrid will end up winning plenty more games, so I think they have a chance to win the whole thing even though they did badly so far.

With Real Madrid's current position in 20th place, then most likely the play-offs scheme or result simulator will be like this that will be faced by Real Madrid. However, all that will change if Real Madrid's position also changes. This will depend on the results of the next 2 matches where Real Madrid will face RB Salzburg and Brest.

Source: UCL Result simulator

I see you used a UCL result simulator from the UEFA official website? What is the "or" for in the first column when it says "Bayern or Dortmund" for instance? Will there be a drawing or is it fixed that 9th plays against 24th, which would clearly make most sense.

But as you can see a whole lot of trouble is waiting for so many great teams. Manchester City could be facing Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid could be facing Atalanta or Juventus Turin.

The way to the final in this format when a team does not qualify for the next round via the top 8 can be so much harder than it used to be because even when they get past the play-off stage, the next big opponent could be waiting already.

Real Madrid will definitely qualify to the round of 16, because they are playing two weak clubs to complete their matches. If you have observed in their last two matches, you will see that they are improving in performance and it will continue like that till they pick form. I believe that Madrid difficult times are over, and this is the time for them to start kicking asses.
We just hope so, that Real Madrid will qualify for the round of 16. It's somehow for them to fail to do so this season. Their two upcoming matches by next year January should be considered a win for them but who knows whether Brest who has won 4 out of their 6 matches with a draw and a lost match will give them a tough time winning them. Let's see how both challenged each other by then because I know that they have a lot of time to prepare for the match that will take place on 29 at Brest home

Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
After Real Madrid was able to beat Atalanta in the 6th week of UCL, it seemed to give them hope to be able to qualify for the next round and most likely Real Madrid's chances of winning 2 more matches are very big, their next opponent is RB Salzburg which will be held on January 23 and this match will be held at the Santiago Bernabéu so Real Madrid will win it and the last match against Brest even though Brest's performance is quite good in UCL this season but I am sure Madrid's performance has been quite good in their meeting later and might make it difficult for Brest.

Definitely nothing will stop Real Madrid from qualifying to the next round because since I've been watching football, I haven't seen Real Madrid be knocked out of the group stage before. Since Madrid defeated Atalanta and got three points from them, which gave Madrid hope in the next round of the Champions League, I believe Madrid will surely win their remaining two games in the competition. Real Madrid has started coming back to their best. Let's see how the next round will be after rounds 8, and who Madrid will meet in the next round of the Champions League. Because since Ancelotti as said madrid will play the final i beleave him because Is a great coach and he knows what is doing very well, Madrid is a big club and if they are talking the best club Definitely you will call madrid they are the king of ucl, so no on can undirecte madrid if is about Champions league.

In this champions league competition, you can’t look down on any team and say a bigger club known will be able to prevail easily against a smaller team, if it was that easy for them to win their matches, they should have been in a better position than they are now. The champions league competition is very unpredictable and only the string and unrelenting team after so many pressure can prevail more in this competition. The odds may favour Real Madrid since they’re the better team and have not been eliminated from the competition in the first round before, but they need to also be in their best form to win the remaining two matches.
