Madrid must show their improvement by winning the remaining 2 matches in UCL. That will be convincing for them to be able to go to the knockout stage. Although there is also a possibility that they cannot get a direct ticket by being in the top 8 standings, they can still finish everything to be able to qualify for the playoffs.
I still believe they will qualify for the knockout stage, only if there is a worse possibility that they go through the playoffs then hopefully Madrid is not too unlucky to meet a team that is also strong.
Real Madrid are regulars in the knockout stages every season, so don't have any doubts about them despite the stark difference in performance this season. They have very good squad depth and they are a team with experience and a good mentality, so I think they will be there regardless of their position in the standings.

Apart from Real Madrid, I think PSG, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and a number of other top teams will also be in the knockout stages. Some of them had to struggle in the playoffs because they didn't qualify directly, but I'm sure Real Madrid and all the teams I mentioned will be there this season. Moreover, Real Madrid's performance in La Liga is increasing, this will be good capital for them to win 2 more wins in the Champions League.
You might be wrong because City is suffering from bad performance and they are facing PSG in their next match. That match is their only opportunity thay will determine their qualification to the round of 16.

If they don't win PSG, they will go down the table and automatically out of the game because tbey will only have one last match to play that wouldn't change anything. I don't see them qualifying easily.

It appears I’m the only one who believes Manchester City will m make it into the next round of the Champions League. Manchester City remains a top side with world class players and an exceptional coach. Their experience and tactical flexibility gives them an edge even during these challenging times.
They have the squad depth and can rotate their players to cover up fatigue and maintain high performance in all competitions. I wouldn’t dare write them off, City’s track record in both domestic and European competitions speaks much about their capability to overcome obstacles.

Manchester City can not get a trophy with this performance they are currently on right now I think it's time for Pep Guardiola to think of rebuilding the team again.

Who's talking about rebuilding the club? Pep Guardiola is more concerned about making changes that will affect the current stats of the club. This is one of the worst season for Manchester City in these past years, they've cut short of winning matches and now becoming an elite team that's suffering from burden of obstacles. I hope they surpass this phase Real quick because the heading close competitive race is after Christmas Eve. Don't ever underestimate the performance of Manchester City this season, they might not be in good shape but when it comes to humbling oppositions, they're classified in the top spot. Pep Guardiola is the master planner for the progressive standards of Manchester City. Don't be in a hurry to forget, they won today's game against Leicester City.
Mancity are likely to finish this season with the same starting players they have, few others might be added towards this little opening market but when we want to talk about changes in the club it would start from next season believing that lot's of players will be left off the starting line up perhaps won't be in the team any longer.

This will be a new start from City but still won't put them ahead of other teams that has already build their team around the players they have around as of now. Next season will be a hard season for City even worst than what they are experiencing, despite they still will be able to finish among the top three position during this season but can't tell for next.

Yes, it is a fact that the Bears have to consider it like that, because they have been performing very poorly for many games now. I don't know what is happening to them, I don't know what Pep is doing wrong, but the team is losing its ability to do things well, and that is very bad for everyone. Some supporters don't give even half a cent for them anymore. Not only in that area but also the football they have shown looks weak, nothing like it really is, Haaland looks lost on the pitch, out of time, he is not clear in his definition. Before, Haaland was really a monster.

There are many things that they may experience that make their game no longer as scary as before and there may be internal problems that are not detected by the media. Because the decline that they will experience is very fast and it is a decline that I think is not normal. Pep is a very experienced coach, he should know what he has to do to restore the performance of his players, but I can understand that it is not an easy thing to do, it certainly takes time. I hope the management is patient enough and does not make hasty decisions.
We should not pamper Man City more than necessary, this is football, sh*ts happen, and probably they've begun there on sh*t period, we should let them run the course until they can get on their feet again. Guardiola is a good coach, no doubt, but no matter how good you are, there are times that circumstance will befall you, it has happened to the greatest coaches in the past and Klopp of Liverpool was a recent example, but he bounced back very fast. So don't let us believe that the media does know, the issue of Man City is never internal but obviously injuries and possible demoralized moment, perhaps the January transfer will be a game changer.

Real Madrid are ready to give their best after overcoming the injury storm. It took some time for them to recover from their injuries and they were able to come back at the right time.
Earlier, Real Madrid Football Club faced many problems due to injuries, many important players in their team were injured due to which they did not play well in many matches. Although some players of Real Madrid were injured but still they came back at the right time.
Quote
Ancelotti is trying his best to take the position to a stronger level and the fans have seen the promising results. I think they have to improve more and continue to do everything they can to make it happen.
Real Madrid's position in the UEFA Champions League is still not good, they have not won many matches in this league yet. But Real Madrid has managed to win more matches in La Liga. As the Real Madrid squad has all the players now, we can expect great performances from them in the upcoming matches. Currently, Real Madrid is at the top of the La Liga points table, but they are far down in the Champions League points table.

Man City who were so powerful in the EPL and even the UCL, are now experiencing a worse decline in performance than ever imagined. Guardiola must be more than just a coach compared to previous times in his career to make Man City rise. The problem faced by Man City is not only the player injury factor, but almost every line seems uncoordinated with each other, the attack line also seems to have lost its killing instinct, this can be seen from the results achieved in the last few matches.
I have written Man City off as the favourites in UCL, not because I underestimate them, but with this kind of performance it is very difficult to compete with other strong teams.
Things like these are part of sports one day you won and other day you have lost, but currently Manchester City is facing troubling time as their confidence is low, and their players are also facing injuries issue which bring their poor run streak long but just one game, and surely they are going to be back in business in last game against Everton things were going good, but we have good effort from visitors, and they were able to steal one point now we have another weak side which can give them some rhythm which will be good for coming rounds.

Next game against PSG in Champions League which is surely not easy while last game is better which will give them booster for having better chances they needed to go through with full confidence against PSG because this is more important for them if they want to have spot in coming round.

Key player injuries are indeed unavoidable, even though they happen to big clubs. And Manchester City and Real Madrid are one of them, but Real Madrid were able to overcome this in a short time, because Real Madrid has good squad depth, they have substitute players who almost match the injured key players. But not with Man City, they made a reshuffle before the season started, so they didn't have a suitable replacement when key players were injured. but luckily they had collected some points before the injury storm hit, so the team remained in the top 24 of the standings, although currently their position is quite threatened, because Man City will face two remaining matches which are quite difficult, namely against PSG and Club Brugge

While regarding PSG who are currently in a really bad position, they actually don't have any problems, they have performed brilliantly in the domestic league, only they were unable to bring their dominance to a higher level in the Champions League. They were unable to adapt in the Champions League for this season.

I can't really sure Pep can do his magic to change the patter of his club in a short time. His team has the last chance against PSG to qualify for the play-off stage. They have to win in their away game, but it's hard to believe if can happen to them.

City needs a miracle. They're struggled, but how fortunate they're by having PSG is also in the same situation as them. The winner of the game between PSG and City will determine which club qualify for play-off. Hopefully, City can pass it.

Miracle isn't a thing Manchester City need actually.  Smiley  They only need to start playing better and keep it going consistently. They aren't in so much different situation than Real Madrid in the Champions League currently. The thing I say is valid for both.

Currently Guardiola is very close to finally getting a win which is against Leicester. But will they be able to maintain the look? I doubt it for now. But I don't want to see him being eliminated early in this tournament. Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG all must be able to make it to a respectable stage of the Champions League. By the way my favourite for the title in this tournament is still Real Madrid.  Grin  Even though I see how great Liverpool have been doing, I'm still saying it. Because Real Madrid are always ready to go big here.

Manchester City has previously managed to dominate the Premier League for years and even Guardiola became the first coach who managed to bring his team to be championship consecutively in the Premier League so far, while in the UCL they previously continued to be a favourite and a strong candidate for the championship, so it is indeed very surprising if their 360 degrees has changed at this time, not only to be a championship favourite even to bet on them winning in a match has given doubts to current bettors, Manchester City and guardiola have high standards every season as a big team, but it turns out that just one player (rodri) injured will actually make them slump at this time, the match against PSG will be a test for them later, although currently they are in a position to qualify through the Play off zone, but if they get defeated in the remaining two matches later, of course their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 will be closed or unlikely to happen in my opinion.

Miracles is something I don't really belive in when it comes to football games like  this and that is because you don't get what you didn't prepare for, I mean sometimes it becomes obvious when a team isn't in a good  position the chances for them to win games especially against top team like them becomes something we be very uncertain about,  at most a draw is what I still anticipate for this game as both teams are in their relatively poor form especially in tha champions league but then it feels like PSG has more edge in this game than Manchester City.

Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. As the most successful club in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid is currently facing difficulties in progressing to the knockout stages of the competition but having well experienced manager like Carlo Ancelotti as the club manager I think gives them the needed advantage over their opponents in the remaining two group stage games. Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
Real Madrid performance a bit decline several times ago but i have no wonder about that because they were facing several issues such as injury storm but gradually their performance is getting better even in Laliga Real Madrid can return to the winning ways and in Champion league Real Madrid has crucial winning from Atalanta this result has just open their chances to qualified and for 2 matches remaining Real Madrid will facing weak opponents Salzburg and Brest and i think potentially Real Madrid can win from these teams and i know Real Madrid most likely will not finish at top 8 but at least they can qualified to the next round through an playoff stages
The storm of injuries that hit them did not make them slump for too long, slowly but surely that is what Real Madrid is showing right now, they have continued to achieve victory after victory so far and improve their position in the standings, it doesn't matter if they have to qualify for the next phase through the play-off round, the most important thing is to go far and hope Real Madrid reaches the final, I think even though their performance is not so stable, Real Madrid will still be a strong candidate.

De Bruyne contract will be expired at the end of this season so without having to be sold automatically De Bruyne will leave Manchester City this summer and Guardiola has confirmed that this winter Manchester City will bought some players besides those players above i think Guardiola should be buy at least 1 striker as the substutition player of Haaland because i can see it that when Haaland unable to in form Manchester City don't have any good striker and indeed they have Phil Foden but his performance is decline and last season Manchester City has Julian Alvarez but unfortunately they sell him to Atletico Madrid

I agree with you, Man City cannot continue to expect Haaland to work hard up front. We also often see how Haaland becomes unhinged when he is pressured by the opponent's defense. In addition to the decline in performance that he could experience, injury is very likely to befall Haaland if he continues to get strong pressure in every game. Getting a striker with a sharpness that is not inferior to Haaland is also very important for Man City. They have quite a lot of matches in various competitions, so it will be very important to maintain the fitness of each player to maximize the team's performance. Man City has also felt that some of their players have been injured and that makes it difficult for the game to run as they expected.

Haaland is one of the best in the world, but he is not someone who can make the team champion on his own. We can say that Manchester City has not been very successful this season, they are not playing at the top right now and they may not even be in the Champions League next season.
Haaland cannot do anything on his own, it is necessary for someone to support him. It has been almost a month since the last match he scored a goal, we cannot ignore this

Therefore I believe the problem at Man City right now is not just because of the decline in performance of one or two players. Maybe there is something bigger for them to fix shortly. If not, as you said maybe they could lose some hope in the next season.
Man City has been a very strong team in several seasons, including in the Champions League and Premier League. But that does not rule out the possibility that they will experience a big blow that can make their players' mentality fall.

Manchester City needs to do something if they want to qualify for the playoffs, and winning against PSG will really help them to qualify, and it will be difficult for them to win at the same time while PSG is also in need of the win to secure a better slot for their playoff qualification, as they are currently seated in the 25th position in the Champions League table.

However, their performances in the Champions League are almost similar, just that PSG in their domestic league is still ahead with a 10-point gap due to a lack of intense competition among the Ligue 1 teams.
Due to Champions League experience, I am expecting PSG to lose or draw to Manchester City because they always disappoint in the Champions League, and considering Pep Guardiola, he will do everything in his power to make it to the round of sixteen to save his team.

Real Madrid can still be expected in the Champions League because their coach still has the determination to make more improvements at Real Madrid in order to reach the next round in the Champions League this season. Likewise in the domestic league, Real Madrid is slowly no longer far behind the top of the standings so that the team can still be expected to remain a candidate for champions in the Champions League and also in their domestic league this season. In addition, in the transfer market this season, Real Madrid will definitely target several important players in order to have balanced strength when the storm of injuries hits them this season.
All Madrid should focus on right now is to improve their standing position in the Champions League competition. This season won't be as the usual champions League competition where we already know the two teams who will play in the final half way into the competition. I mean blinding tagging Madrid and Champions League candidate might be demanding too much from the team.

Although in the domestic League they are showing strong persistence as the keep up with the  chasing to take over the top standing. But for the CL more has to be done because the like of Liverpool are not sleeping. This will be one of those champions League where surprises wil fill the air till the last game.

Yes, that's right, you are not wrong to cross out Manchester City from the list of clubs favored to become champions, because this is a definite thing based on reasons, one of which is their performance lately. And even to be able to be in the next round, they have to fight even harder. In the standings, they are in 22nd position and it is still very risky if they cannot win in the remaining 2 matches. And even I myself will not be surprised when they have to be eliminated in this round. They will play a life and death match in the remaining 2 matches.

I hope that City have a high enough level of players to reach the final part of the Champions League, I understand that they are going through difficult times, but to allow this would be too much. Something has happened to their attack, they can’t score at all, maybe if they changed this, then everything would be fine, because they have conceded goals before but the attack corrected all these mistakes, and now if they concede

The match between Manchester City and PSG will be a very crucial match for both teams, both of them currently have the same results and poor conditions in the Champions League so they must be able to win all remaining match for their chances of qualifying for the next round, Manchester City and PSG currently have a very small chance of qualifying even though Manchester has a better chance than PSG,  But still they have a lot of pressure in the match, in the next match I think Guardiola has to exert all his abilities and also apply a disciplined game to win the match, but if you look at the current condition of both teams, I think a draw seems to be a more realistic result for both teams at the end of the match.

I don't think it's right to say that they will definitely lose. Because we can't know these things before the match is played. Any effective match can change the fate of the match. For example, a red card that can be seen by the opposing team will put the opposing team at a great disadvantage. Manchester City has not been successful lately, yes we know that, but maybe they will be better in the future under Guardiola. Guardiola currently has a period of rest ahead of him. I think he has the capacity to use this period in the best way and turn the team into a more energetic and well-playing team.
There is no time to rest for Pep Guardiola when he knows his club is in trouble he must be thinking hard to be able to restore Man City's performance as a strong competitor in the UCL. Indeed currently Man City still rested for UCL match but they still have a schedule in the Premier League and Pep Guardiola still has quite a lot of pressure, in the transfer window later Pep Guardiola must really take advantage of it to recruit the players he needs I am sure Man City still has a chance to qualify for the last 16 of the UCL.
