Real Madrid will definitely qualify to the round of 16, because they are playing two weak clubs to complete their matches. If you have observed in their last two matches, you will see that they are improving in performance and it will continue like that till they pick form. I believe that Madrid difficult times are over, and this is the time for them to start kicking asses.
We just hope so, that Real Madrid will qualify for the round of 16. It's somehow for them to fail to do so this season. Their two upcoming matches by next year January should be considered a win for them but who knows whether Brest who has won 4 out of their 6 matches with a draw and a lost match will give them a tough time winning them. Let's see how both challenged each other by then because I know that they have a lot of time to prepare for the match that will take place on 29 at Brest home

Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. As the most successful club in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid is currently facing difficulties in progressing to the knockout stages of the competition but having well experienced manager like Carlo Ancelotti as the club manager I think gives them the needed advantage over their opponents in the remaining two group stage games. Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
Why not? I think Real Madrid will be able to progress to the next round of the Champions League. It doesn’t matter their poor start, there are two clubs that will always have my confidence and that’s Real Madrid and Manchester City. I don't think either Brest or Salzburg will be able to stop Real Madrid from getting maximum points  in each game.
For Salsburg, I think Real Madrid wouldn't find it difficult to beat them but considering Brest's performance in the UEFA Champions League competition this season, I think they'll pose a major threat when they host Real Madrid on 29th January for their last game of the group stage. The French club have been one of the dark horses of the competition this season and since that game will be played in their own home ground, I expect them to go all out for a win knowing fully well they have nothing to lose since they're playing against the reigning champions but at the end, I predict a Real Madrid win regardless

Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
After Real Madrid was able to beat Atalanta in the 6th week of UCL, it seemed to give them hope to be able to qualify for the next round and most likely Real Madrid's chances of winning 2 more matches are very big, their next opponent is RB Salzburg which will be held on January 23 and this match will be held at the Santiago Bernabéu so Real Madrid will win it and the last match against Brest even though Brest's performance is quite good in UCL this season but I am sure Madrid's performance has been quite good in their meeting later and might make it difficult for Brest.

Definitely nothing will stop Real Madrid from qualifying to the next round because since I've been watching football, I haven't seen Real Madrid be knocked out of the group stage before. Since Madrid defeated Atalanta and got three points from them, which gave Madrid hope in the next round of the Champions League, I believe Madrid will surely win their remaining two games in the competition. Real Madrid has started coming back to their best. Let's see how the next round will be after rounds 8, and who Madrid will meet in the next round of the Champions League. Because since Ancelotti as said madrid will play the final i beleave him because Is a great coach and he knows what is doing very well, Madrid is a big club and if they are talking the best club Definitely you will call madrid they are the king of ucl, so no on can undirecte madrid if is about Champions league.

In this champions league competition, you can’t look down on any team and say a bigger club known will be able to prevail easily against a smaller team, if it was that easy for them to win their matches, they should have been in a better position than they are now. The champions league competition is very unpredictable and only the string and unrelenting team after so many pressure can prevail more in this competition. The odds may favour Real Madrid since they’re the better team and have not been eliminated from the competition in the first round before, but they need to also be in their best form to win the remaining two matches.

IMO, Madrid is gonna qualify, but they must be going through elimination phase.

It's very easy for Madrid to farm 6 points from Brest and Salzburg. If they don't do it, they lose a spot in the elimination phase. I see winning the rest of games is a must for them to secure a spot in the next round.

I ready to boo them if they fail in one of remaining games.

I think the same thing. Lucky them that their remaining games are not that difficult on paper. Brest might seem like a challenging opponent considering their run in the tournament so far. But nobody should be misleaded with that. The teams they beat weren't that great ones. We can only consider the PSV win as interesting. The other opponents weren't strong ones. This is going to be the first time they face a big team in the Champions League.

Real Madrid are healing recently. Vinicius Junior is also back and Mbappe's form is getting better at the same time. I just see a comfortable win by them there. My betting choice will probably be Real Madrid to win by at least a 2-goal gap when the odds are official.  Smiley

Bayern Munich currently has 3 winning streak and total they can gets 4 wins from 6 matches which automatically Bayern Munich can collect 12 points and Bayern Munich current position at 10th place but they only have 1 point gap with the team from top 8 so Bayern Munich chances to finish at 8th place is still wide open as long as Bayern Munich can win in the next 2 matches and i have seen Bayern Munich will not facing strong opponents because for 7th match Bayern Munich will fight against Feyenoord and on 8th match Bayern Munich opponent is only Slovan Bratislava which one of the weakiest team in this competition and i am sure Bayern Munich can able to overcomes their opponents and gets 6 points maximum
Bayern Munich journey to finish in the top 8 of the standings is quite easy, on paper Feyenoord and Slovan Bratislava are not worthy opponents for them. In many aspects, Kompany squad is very superior, and I think they will be able to secure full points as predicted. Of course Feyenoord and Slovan Bratislava can create a surprise, but it is unlikely to happen, unless Kompany loses a number of his key players due to injury.

Difficult times don't last especially pointing towards the directions of elite teams. The injury blow in Real Madrid squad is gradually losing down and given much time for the players to bounce back from recovery. What are your expectations from Real Madrid? They're in good shape and winning matches no longer become a problem, rather a proceeding competitive run becomes closer to the big leagues. Real Madrid have the odds of qualifying for next round after all, they're favorite to win the UCL trophy this season. We look closer to Real Madrid team, they've been on winning streaks and observing all corners of greatness. They're the best team in Europe, mere looking their archives of trophies won, they don't have mate, no one is even this close.

Their 7th match will be against Salzbrug and their 8th match will be against Brest, statistically they do look below Real Madrid but anything can happen. If they win, of course the end of the Madrid league will get 15 points. But you have to know that the team above Real Madrid also has the same chance to win 2 times. So I think they'll have a hard time getting into the top 8. They seem to have to go through the playoffs. The change in format made everything change. It seems that this season's UCL champion will also be different.
To win the two matches it might be much easier for Real Madrid because Salzbrug and Brest are not so tough opponents, but to qualify automatically it might be a little more difficult for Real Madrid because even though they won the remaining two matches it was also very dependent on some teams Above them in completing the last two matches. Ancelotti must show changes in the coming matches because the format as now allows them to have difficulty appearing consistent.

The new format is a little different because there are some strong teams that have not managed to qualify for the next round and even have to go through the playoffs in a much more difficult way this season, and vice versa with Real Madrid who have to fight even harder going forward.

With Real Madrid's current position in 20th place, then most likely the play-offs scheme or result simulator will be like this that will be faced by Real Madrid. However, all that will change if Real Madrid's position also changes. This will depend on the results of the next 2 matches where Real Madrid will face RB Salzburg and Brest.

Salzburg and Brest are two average team of which if comparing to Madrid I'm their former formthey would see this as a very easy game for them to win without necessarily having to really struggle because this two team will be considered weak with respect to their own form and strength, then even experience wise, they have even better experience than this two teams put together so Madrid by almost every standard is at advantage ahead. I believe and hope Madrid is definitely going to scale through this point of the league and try to do better at the next stage.

However, before that, Real Madrid still have to go through the playoffs first because currently Real Madrid is not in a position that allows them to qualify directly for the round of 16. If we look at the two more matches in this standings phase, it is true that Real Madrid will face two teams that are not so strong, but Real Madrid still have to make a more brilliant appearance when they are in the playoffs because the matches in that round will determine which team will qualify for the next round in the UCL this season.

And for a club like Real Madrid that have been doing well so even if they are facing a lot of challenges All they need is to be encouraged even by the coaches because they have even tried because they have been looking for ways to encourage there self the more and don't be be surprised that they will for sure qualify for the next take off this something that is possible.
something that is possible but also something that Madrid has to do. they have the quality and ability to do it. despite their current position in the standings, maybe some fans are a little disappointed with the results. but that's the situation at the moment.
although it will take hard work and maybe more effort from Madrid, hopefully, it will be a good result for them.

I have no doubt that Real will make it to the playoffs, and then in head-to-head matches we will see another team, I have no doubt that Ancelotti knows how to set up players for important games and I can’t imagine who can beat Real now, with the exception of a few teams, perhaps Liverpool can do it, but it will depend on the draw, at what stage they will meet, maybe only in the final, and then everything will be decided by one match, so don’t rush to conclusions.

I think this season is the beginning of the downfall for Pep Guardiola at Man City after achieving a lot of success with his club now he has to feel the bitterness of going through a slump and pressure from the club, I know the fans love Pep Guardiola very much and the club loves him too but if it continues to decline I think Pep's position as a manager is increasingly unsafe because the club still needs the highest level regardless of Pep having been Man City's successor so far, I think the club will wait for the final results of this season if Man City does not finish in the UCL zone I feel Pep will be fired.
That's why in my next sentences, I said this:
However, if we look back at the results of the match so far for Man City, both in the Champions League (UCL) and the Premier League, this is quite devastating. Just imagine, how clear the list of their match results so far is:
We realize how down Pep and Man City are this season. Especially in UCL, it is not much different from what Real Madrid experienced in UCL, but the difference is, Real Madrid is still better in La Liga. Well, in the next 2 matches, we will see whether Man City can at least be in the play-offs or not.

Real Madrid will definitely qualify to the round of 16, because they are playing two weak clubs to complete their matches. There are many things that they may experience that make their game no longer as scary as before and there may be internal problems that are not detected by the media. Because the decline that they will experience is very fast and it is a decline that I think is not normal. Pep is a very experienced coach, he should know what he has to do to restore the performance of his players, but I can understand that it is not an easy thing to do, it certainly takes time. I hope the management is patient enough and does not make hasty decisions.
We should not pamper Man City more than necessary, this is football, sh*ts happen, and probably they've begun there on sh*t period, we should let them run the course until they can get on their feet again. Guardiola is a good coach, no doubt, but no matter how good you are, there are times that circumstance will befall you, it has happened to the greatest coaches in the past and Klopp of Liverpool was a recent example, but he bounced back very fast. So don't let us believe that the media does know, the issue of Man City is never internal but obviously injuries and possible demoralized moment, perhaps the January transfer will be a game changer.
Yes I agree with you, sometimes a team has to close themselves off to not make their problems public, because instead of being able to solve the problem, it can become a bigger problem with very wild and sometimes unreasonable news just to boost media ratings. Now they have to plan what they will do in the transfer window later, because all of that will be needed to make the team more prepared and not be caught out if they want to bring in new players. Because it could be that the player they are targeting is the same player targeted by other teams too.

Ancelotti does have a great ability to manage the team and maximise the potential of each player, even with his experience and expertise, he can overcome the challenges and difficulties of madrid before, but in my opinion the conditions this season are very different from previous seasons, because of the busy schedule including after the change in the format of the champions league, the injured squad is also the reason for madrid slump at the moment, apart from their absence in the transfer market last summer.
Madrid position in the champions league is still unsafe now, so they need two consecutive wins in their last two matches, I hope madrid can use the January transfer window with well, because inevitably they have to immediately improve the depth of the squad if they still want to be favourites in the champions league and la liga this season.
Even before the beginning of this season, when this new season format was first introduced last season, i did mentioned that its going to be a long one for both experienced and new champions league teams because they will be having to play like they are participating in another league away form their various domestic leagues since its going to be using same format as that of the domestic league. so for me, seeing Madrid with this performance in the champions league is feeling like what i did expected in that i have foreseen before now that most teams are going to at some point struggle with the new format of the champions league and even the Europa as its going to be stressful for them all having to play in almost two leagues simultaneously.
