Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. As the most successful club in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid is currently facing difficulties in progressing to the knockout stages of the competition but having well experienced manager like Carlo Ancelotti as the club manager I think gives them the needed advantage over their opponents in the remaining two group stage games. Do you think Real Madrid will succeed in progressing to the next round? Let me read your thoughts.
Real Madrid performance a bit decline several times ago but i have no wonder about that because they were facing several issues such as injury storm but gradually their performance is getting better even in Laliga Real Madrid can return to the winning ways and in Champion league Real Madrid has crucial winning from Atalanta this result has just open their chances to qualified and for 2 matches remaining Real Madrid will facing weak opponents Salzburg and Brest and i think potentially Real Madrid can win from these teams and i know Real Madrid most likely will not finish at top 8 but at least they can qualified to the next round through an playoff stages
The storm of injuries that hit them did not make them slump for too long, slowly but surely that is what Real Madrid is showing right now, they have continued to achieve victory after victory so far and improve their position in the standings, it doesn't matter if they have to qualify for the next phase through the play-off round, the most important thing is to go far and hope Real Madrid reaches the final, I think even though their performance is not so stable, Real Madrid will still be a strong candidate.

I think Manchester City will break their unlucky luck against Leicester. They will be able to beat them and maybe a new series will start. Manchester City is really bad this year. Nobody is used to this. Maybe no bettor thought about this possibility at the beginning of the year. Manchester City had the most ambitious odds in the championship odds at the beginning of the year. However, they disappointed everyone in the past period.

Pep Guardiola lost his best player which is Rodri to injuries and since then everything began to turn upside down for Manchester city. Manchester city this season has been so bad and it might continue like this until Pep Guardiola is able to buy some players to add to the team as their current players have lost the motivation to play as they use to. I don't think they'll be able to beat Leicester city today when they play, although Leicester city are playing badly too but Manchester city are playing more worse as they have better high quality players yet they're unable to win smaller teams that they should win. Leicester city won't be holding back their attack today.

Citty match against PSG will determine if they can survive the group stage. If they fail to win PSG, they are gone. It's only the transfer window that can bring back hope to City because their current players have nothing to offer again for the club. EPL is the only league that City can be hopeful of and that depends on the team's strength after getting new players in January.
Manchester City is a team that has a lot of finances so I am also sure that the team can bring in some new players through the January transfer window. Because Pep and the team management must continue to move to see that option as early as possible in the transfer window because it is true as you said if Manchester City only hopes for a miracle from the players they currently have, of course there will be no significant change in performance for them this season. So the choice must still be able to get new players in order to find changes in their strengths so that they are not immediately eliminated from the UCL this season.

I was not expecting to see this match because between Manchester City and PSG, one team can stay in the tournament and the other team should say goodbye to the Champions League while both are were hoping to win the Champions League. I think now Manchester City can have more chance because of them having Pep Guardiola in this team and his experiacne which is much higher than Enrique's and he has more achievements but to be honest, PSG is much stronger than since Enrique joined this team and now he hopes to beat Manchester City and stay in the Champions League.

Guardiola is confident he can take Manchester City to a better position. However, time and talent will tell how much of a boost that will be given to the fans. I personally am not optimistic about City as they have won just one of their last 13 matches in all competitions and rebuilding a battered team can be challenging. They are 14 points behind leaders Liverpool and are seventh in the Champions League. I am disappointed with their performance and expect better results in the coming days as the four-time champions should not give up. Guardiola has, however, been hopeful after signing a new contract and said he will do his best to take the team to at least the top four. Manchester City fans are waiting to see how well they can play against Leicester City in the next match.

I have written Man City off as the favourites in UCL, not because I underestimate them, but with this kind of performance it is very difficult to compete with other strong teams.
You are not wrong at all if you cross out Manchester City as a favorite to win the UCL because based on the facts that you have seen yourself that this season Manchester City is experiencing an unstable condition and is even worthy of being said to be bad. So it is very reasonable to doubt it in winning the UCL this season because here there are many strong teams that will continue to compete with more mature preparation so that teams that do not have game stability in every match will find it difficult to win and will even be easier to be eliminated.
Yes, that's right, you are not wrong to cross out Manchester City from the list of clubs favored to become champions, because this is a definite thing based on reasons, one of which is their performance lately. And even to be able to be in the next round, they have to fight even harder. In the standings, they are in 22nd position and it is still very risky if they cannot win in the remaining 2 matches. And even I myself will not be surprised when they have to be eliminated in this round. They will play a life and death match in the remaining 2 matches.

Man City who were so powerful in the EPL and even the UCL, are now experiencing a worse decline in performance than ever imagined. Guardiola must be more than just a coach compared to previous times in his career to make Man City rise. The problem faced by Man City is not only the player injury factor, but almost every line seems uncoordinated with each other, the attack line also seems to have lost its killing instinct, this can be seen from the results achieved in the last few matches.

Manchester City can not get a trophy with this performance they are currently on right now I think it's time for Pep Guardiola to think of rebuilding the team again.

Yes, it is a fact that the Bears have to consider it like that, because they have been performing very poorly for many games now. I don't know what is happening to them, I don't know what Pep is doing wrong, but the team is losing its ability to do things well, and that is very bad for everyone. Some supporters don't give even half a cent for them anymore. Not only in that area but also the football they have shown looks weak, nothing like it really is, Haaland looks lost on the pitch, out of time, he is not clear in his definition. Before, Haaland was really a monster.

There are many things that they may experience that make their game no longer as scary as before and there may be internal problems that are not detected by the media. Because the decline that they will experience is very fast and it is a decline that I think is not normal. Pep is a very experienced coach, he should know what he has to do to restore the performance of his players, but I can understand that it is not an easy thing to do, it certainly takes time. I hope the management is patient enough and does not make hasty decisions.

What really catches the eye are those horrific mistakes in the defense or the midfield. They have made these mistakes in the Premier League against Manchester United and it lost them the game in the last few minutes. They conceded two late goals against Brighton and it lost them the game. And not to mention the game against Feyenoord when they let a 3 goals lead slip through their hands within 15 minutes due to mistakes. Or it began with a mistake and then it became a snowball effect against them.

These very stupid mistakes is something that Manchester City has never been known for. Actually it was always quite the opposite. Their opponents knew that Manchester City wouldn't make these mistakes and that made it infinitely more difficult to come back against them, but now this has drastically changed and they don't make these mistakes occasionally, but almost every game. This is surprising when you read the names on paper. It is full of superstars and you would think that one mistake can happen, two mistakes can happen, but the time should come where they gain back their confidence and coolness. But I have been waiting for that for a while now and I doubt they will get it back this season.

They are still in the competition though and while I don't think they are still a favorite, I would not count them out entirely just yet.

Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. At the beginning of the season,  Madrid had some good productivity before their recent setback that they are yet to recover from and then it's feeling like they started off poorly,  except if it's with reference to their start up performances I'm previous seasons then we could agree to this actually but away from that, they actually did better at the beginning of the season than they are doing now. Getting to the next stage is actually in a very high uncertainty form Madrid at this ti.e but I'm very optimistic about them still.

It looks like this will be a deciding match for both of them because whoever loses this match will have a tough time qualifying for the playoffs. They don't just have to win the last game, but they will also likely depend on the matches of other teams. If you look at the current situation, PSG might have a better chance of winning than Man City because they have the home advantage and Man City has been really bad recently. Luckily the match will still be held for quite some time, so Man City still has time to improve their performance, and they might take advantage of this January transfer window.
Having this game as a deciding game for both teams has to be one reason why this game is going to be really tough and possibly interesting because both teams will be aiming to win but then win and they cant win together as one team has gat to win as against the other, Manchester City has been of a very poor performance and we all know but i still wouldn't use that as a reason to think that PSG was going to be the winner in this game, the most likely score I'm even expecting from PSG would be a draw and a win possible Win for Manchester City, Pep has always got his way around games like this and i don't see him loosing this particular one.

At least, there are still two matches left that still allow them to still have a chance to qualify for the play offs, even though for example PSG lost against Manchester City but it looks like PSG will also still have a chance to finish in the top 24 if in their last match they managed to win. But yes, it is difficult of course if one of them loses this match, because it will make the chance very difficult because they also expect bad results for other competing teams who will both only maximize to be able to finish in the top 24. Thus, it is likely that their match will take place very carefully from both teams, making it difficult or tough for them to score goals.

Given how PSG are performing inside the champions league I don't think they can finish in the top 24, as if that's already unlikely. Overall I don't remember PSG getting knocked out so easily and not reaching the 1/8 stage recently, amazing. I'll be happy for them if they do make it through, but I don't believe in it. Even though they are playing against a currently weak Manchester City, as they may well pull themselves together and finally win, breaking their losing streak

There is still plenty of time to make changes to their performance and I am also confident that Manchester City can get out of their slump and do everything to stay in the Champion League competition.
Manchester City still have 2 more matches and against PSG is their toughest opponent and if you look at the overall strength despite the slump that has hit Manchester City at this time I am still optimistic that Manchester City can win the match to advance to the play-off round.

Manchester City are a team that not so many people had lost hope in. Pep Guardiola is a talented coach and has lots of experience on this game better than most of this managers. He might be facing some kind of challenge now but I still feel the team is optimistic about him and believe he’s going to do something to bring them back on track before the end of the season. They need to qualify for the next round of the champions league because that’s most important for them now to have to continue in this competition. With the games left for them to play, let’s see if they can come up with something intriguing to get the qualification.

Real Madrid started this season on a poor note which made many question the club's ability to defend the Spanish and European Cup titles but in recent weeks, they've significantly improved their performances in both competitions. Yes, I very much believe that Real Madrid will qualify for the next round of the competition even as they have not been doing well generally from the start of the champions league this season. We can see that their performance have began to improve and there is still more to what we see them playing now. They’ve been in situations of been eliminated from the champions league in the past before and they always scale through, so I don’t think this time will also be an exception for that. Real Madrid are still potential winners of the champions league trophy until they are eliminated completely from the competition.

I'm also in support of Manchester City making it pass the group stage and maybe even getting further to the round of 16 or quarter finals, especially now that the transfer windows will be open for them to improve their squad and possibly this will be able to bring the entire team back to their excellent form including Erling Haaland, who has really been humbled indeed.

Although another difficult thing will be trying to get players they might be able to add to their Champions league squad this season.

De Bruyne contract will be expired at the end of this season so without having to be sold automatically De Bruyne will leave Manchester City this summer and Guardiola has confirmed that this winter Manchester City will bought some players besides those players above i think Guardiola should be buy at least 1 striker as the substutition player of Haaland because i can see it that when Haaland unable to in form Manchester City don't have any good striker and indeed they have Phil Foden but his performance is decline and last season Manchester City has Julian Alvarez but unfortunately they sell him to Atletico Madrid

I agree with you, Man City cannot continue to expect Haaland to work hard up front. We also often see how Haaland becomes unhinged when he is pressured by the opponent's defense. In addition to the decline in performance that he could experience, injury is very likely to befall Haaland if he continues to get strong pressure in every game. Getting a striker with a sharpness that is not inferior to Haaland is also very important for Man City. They have quite a lot of matches in various competitions, so it will be very important to maintain the fitness of each player to maximize the team's performance. Man City has also felt that some of their players have been injured and that makes it difficult for the game to run as they expected.

Haaland is one of the best in the world, but he is not someone who can make the team champion on his own. We can say that Manchester City has not been very successful this season, they are not playing at the top right now and they may not even be in the Champions League next season.
Haaland cannot do anything on his own, it is necessary for someone to support him. It has been almost a month since the last match he scored a goal, we cannot ignore this

So far, Manchester City is only 1 point away from Real Madrid, which also has a chance to stay in the playoff zone. Manchester City is a team that is expected to rise from its slump in the Premier League and Champions League, but I do not rule out that they could also fail because of the team's lack of performance.

Not sure that Manchester city can rise from the slump in both leagues. At this point Pep Guardiola has to give up one league for the other, they have to stop trying to get into the top 4 position in the premier league and focus more on the champions league as they have already won the premier league many times but haven't done very well in the champions league as they only have one title on all the seasons that they dominated European football. Manchester city don't have to lose any game again so they can increase their chances of getting onto the playoffs position which is very possible as the other clubs in the playoffs position aren't that far ahead with points.

I don't see man city having any chance of passing this stage in champions League the reason why I'm saying so is because those teams that are playing this champions League are seen as one of the best in there various leagues and they are playing very well man city is finding it very hard to win the least team in there league so how will they win good teams in champions League it will be difficult and I don't think they can do that.
There are still at least 2 games they can use to win 6 points and stay in the playoff zone, then it depends on how they try in the playoffs. If you're not sure how they can do it, then I'm not sure how they can fail when there are still 2 games scheduled. Winning and losing are certainly consequences, but we never know what the outcome would be if the game had not ended.

You have basically answered your own doubts about Manchester City as per the quote below.

Pep guardiola is a great coach and I believe his going to set things right as soon as he plays new players he knows the kind of players that will give him what he wants and he knows how to make them play there best.

I think it's too early to say Manchester City failed in the early stages of this season's Champions League even though their performance was actually very bad. Manchester City is still very likely to qualify for the round of 16 if they can stay in the playoff zone and win the match, but what is certain is that the competition is never easy.

So far, Manchester City is only 1 point away from Real Madrid, which also has a chance to stay in the playoff zone. I don't see man city coming back this season because there are a lot of things that's needs to be done in other for man city to come back and that is changing a lot of players and I don't think they can do that this January transfer window that will open soon however they can only try to meet up after January transfer window is open but since those players are new players they it will take them time for them to adapt and start playing well.
Pep guardiola is a great coach and I believe his going to set things right as soon as he plays new players he knows the kind of players that will give him what he wants and he knows how to make them play there best.
