I believe Real Madrid to be champion on UEFA champion league this season and now they most wonderful performance on domestic league, maybe next match easy for Real Madrid get three points after success defeated Inter Milan last week. Now Madrid have ready to second on champion league after win from Valencia last night.
I think that Liverpool - Milan game was quite emotional. I still remember the Champions League finale in 2005 between these two teams. Liverpool made an insane comeback from 3-0 then and even won the title after the penalty shoot-outs. And they played against each other in 2007 in this tournament again. But they didn't play since 2007 until this game. This was a meaningful game for both teams. And I must admit that we watched another very exciting and delightful game. Each team got ahead in the game but Liverpool managed to be the winner at the end by 3-2. What a game it was!

it's true as you said mate, sherif is in a tough group, even though they won the first match, but they are very difficult to break through in the group stage, because they have to face a strong team like real madrit..

what FC sheriff did in the first match really amazed us with the team cohesiveness they displayed against Shakhtar Donetsk in the first match of the Champions League group stage where they managed to secure three points, with this victory at least it can give them more motivation in the Champions League. when facing Inter Milan and Real Madrid where on paper they are indeed more favored, but if they continue to show team cohesiveness it is not impossible that they will give very tight resistance to Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the next matches

But this is another game where it is worth a view into the statistics... Fc Sheriff only had 25% ball possession and 430 less passes over the course of the game. This is a classic result for a game where one team is incredibly unlucky, and the unlucky team here was Shakhtar. Although Messi-Neymar-Mbappe seemed to be very strong players, they were not very effective. Together they could not adapt themselves.
Those three strikers are strong players, but strikers must have big supports from the midfielders to have a chance of shooting on target. Not only those 3 strikers can't adapt well, the midfielders also didn't play as well as we expect in that match. I don't know why it seems too difficult for them to adapt although they are basically smart players. One of the impressive performances on the first week was from Ajax, in my opinion. I never expected them to play that good and just erase Sporting in the field. As you can remember, Sporting were the champions in the Liga Portugal in the last season. I expected them to put up a great fight against Ajax in this match. But this was not the case. Ajax fired 5 rockets to their goal and won the match with a tremendous 5-1 score in an away match.
the positive side is that the sheriff can learn a lot from european teams which even in the group stage they are actually underdogs because indeed they have just started entering the most prestigious league in europe.
and the win in the first game was a good start but on the other hand there are two teams in this group who are regulars in the Champions League namely madrid and inter. It would be great and it would be beautiful history if the sheriffs could move on to the next round but even if they failed they learned a very valuable lesson from here.
Sheriff is the biggest underdog currently in the last 10 years at least in the champions league. They have gone far in the qualfications and made it to the group faze and even won for their first game at home. So i think they can even go far they are writting history for their country
even now they are still giving a surprise in the Champions League after defeating dynamo Zagreb which incidentally is a Champions League subscription with a striking score in the play offs, the sheriffs were also able to win 2-0 against Shakhtar in the group phase.
I think they are too shocking for a debutant team.
but they are faced with two clubs that incidentally have won the champions league now.

Amsterdam is in outstanding shape. Even before the 9 - 0 of yesterday, their stats were already overwhelming. What was out of this world in the 9 - 0 game was their efficiency and I doubt they can keep it up. 11 shots on target and 9 goals!
That doesn't happen everyday. I would assume though that they are going to beat Besiktas.

I can't wait to watch the next Milan - Liverpool match! Because their last match was insanely competitive. Liverpool dominated the match in general actually but Milan still didn't care about it. They surprised people a lot by making a comeback from 1-0 to 2-1. And in the second half, Liverpool made the same comeback and won the match by 3-2 also. But Milan also deserved a point here I think with their productivity.
No team is weak as long as they reached UCL. They all mocked Sheriff Tiraspol and boom they won another game against Shaktar who is a great team of Europe. Also , whoever thought that Milan will go in Liverpool just to get goals they were so wrong as Milan almost snatched a draw against a team who has the same players for 3 years now making very hard for any team to play against them.
Exactly. There's no more such thing as a weak team in the group stage. They got there either by winning their league or fighting off strong opposition in the qualifications, which is exactly how Sheriff made history for themselves. It's amazing for them, their fans, and a wake up call to giants to ask themselves if they are as good as they think they are.To be honest, I really admire Sheriff Tiraspol, they come from a league that is classified as very weak, maybe they can enter the Champions League group stage, it's a pride for them, especially in the first match they managed to beat a giant team from Ukraine (Shakhtar Donetsk).

that was what I said before, that is a legend game between the club. but for this session Liverpool clearly superior, they have a team with fully complete every side. it's just that they're unlucky created 1 different goal yesterday even though they can create more than expected. maybe it will be a turnaround when they come to San Siro in December, possible Milan creates a winning.

I don't really like this strategy because it looks very monotonous when the opposing team has more control over the game while this team is too busy trying to defend.
