England has many high quality players, but they have had problems when choosing coaches, in my opinion I don't see England being able to win this Euro, they will be able to pass the group stage because they were lucky to be in a group that has weak teams , but when they move on to another stage and encounter strong teams, they will lose and be eliminated. I don't understand why the coach chose not to take Jack Grealish, but we'll see if the coach really made a good choice in choosing this squad or if he made a bad choice in choosing this squad. If England's performance in this Euro is a failure, the coach will receive a lot of criticism
In my opinion the coach made a bad decision, he only succeeded in assembling inexperienced players who has never been tested in a major tournament. Look at the players like Cole Palmer, Watkins, Kobie Mainoo and others who made the squad list. See at some point experience is what is needed to go through at the big stage. England won't have any chance when they meet teams like France and Germany Portugal included and Netherlands. Southgate be acting like he is a master of the game but he has nothing in his head, I hope England get rid of him after this tournament. Of England had a good coach they would have won a trophy since Southgate took over. You can't tell that Super Jack doesn't meet the criteria to be selected, he is a top player and he play good football and the fans love him so what's the problem with Southgate now.

Germany is one of the strongest teams in Europe right now. But that doesn't mean that the match will be one-sided. Scotland are well known for upsets. On top of that they have promising young players in their squad, such as Scott McTominay and John McGinn. We still have 8 days to go for this match, but before that Scotland will be taking on Finland tomorrow at the Hampden Park. In Euro, they are placed in one of the toughest possible groups along with Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.

We were shaken by the bad news of Enes Ünal's injury.  Sad  He has been removed from Turkey national squad in Euro 2024. We were already having forward problems as I said before and now our options are narrower. Portugal has also announced their official squad for Euro 2024. Ronaldo is going to be playing as most people expected. This is bad news for us when we think we are in the same group and Ronaldo's qualifiers effort was great.
However, my prediction is that Portugal and Türkiye will qualify. Even if they fail, Türkiye still has a chance in the next qualifying round. There are 4 teams taken from the top 3 qualifying rounds that can take part in the next qualifying stage. But that sounds ominous. My estimate is that in group F, Portugal is in first place, Turkey is in second place, and Georgia is in third place.
The truth is it is a shame for Enes Ünal, a great player of the Turkish national team, however they have a very good team and can make the difference, personally I also think like you, I position Portugal as first in their group, but as long as the coach knows how to handle the kids who are anti cr7 because Bruno and a few others find it difficult not to pass the player too much, then you have to add these things, as a coach I would not even call BRUNO, I would call another player who would do a much better job and with that I would make way for new generation relief players who at least let themselves be guided and advised by the veterans and can do a better job and not have what happened in Qatar happen again.

About Southgate, I just believe he is pulling this team down. For many years he couldn't achieve a single title with such great squads. Isn't it time for England to look for a better manager already? I guess they would if he fails in Euro 2024.

Never in defense of Southgate but we all saying he is been drawing the team back to me is even laughable what exactly has England in the past won, they ultimately had a golden generation from the 2000s to now and they didn’t achieved anything, the likes Paul Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham, John Terry, Rooney and all the superstars couldn’t win anything. If you ask me southgate is right up there with best mangers they have had, been to a semi final of the World Cup, finals of the euros and I think he will go far again this time around. I disagree a lot with his decision making but to me the English media needs to lower their expectations and hype a little bit and maybe they will reduce the pressure on him and the players.

I do believe that it was some kind of racial discrimination and abuses going on in the Germany team that was the reason of their drop in the past years in anything that concerns international football. This actually started when Ozil was publicly mistreated and no one addressed the issue. Now they have a vibrant young coach maybe the ideology will change and the team will perform better this season. However in almost all the recent euro competitions, England is known in parading more fierce squad than Germany. But they are somewhat unlucky to win the cup even last season that they nearly made it, we couldn't believe that Italy that was not inform denied them the opportunity.
This time around let us see what Southgate has for us, as we can see this evening Fabrizio already updated that he has dropped Madison. Being confident of dropping Madison should show the readiness of the England squad.

Maybe it also had some affect on Germany's downfall yeah. Anyway, I believe Nagelsmann is a quite decent manager. He has a good potential to be successful. His being German is another plus for German national team.  Smiley

The dream for them would be to win a Euro or World Cup title with such a young manager. If they have a good chemistry between then we might even see a fast evolution in their performance. For now I see them as a dark horse.

This very profitable group for Portugal will make it easier for them to qualify for the next round, especially considering that the players called up by Roberto Martinez to take part in the Euros are very high quality, there are B. Fernandes C. Ronaldo and also Rafael Leo and many more but these names are stars At the moment.

Looking at group F, Portugal has high hopes of winning this group, and my prediction for second place is that Tuurkiye and the Czech Republic will follow in third place because the Czechs are currently better than Georgia in terms of squad depth and playing mentality, but this is only The prediction is still wide open as to who will advance to the next round.
I feel like winning the group will not be an issue for Portugal at all, they will be out of the group stages for sure, that will not be an issue. The real issue is that they do not look good enough to beat some of the bigger teams, France, England, even Belgium or so, it looks like they are not that great. I feel like it would be quite tough for them to win.

The thing about the current line up is that they are good but they are not "that" good and they are not a tournament team, if it was just 30 games between the clubs, then maybe we could have seen them do better, but because it's knock off, they fail to win every game, and that results with them getting early exit. This happened in many cups before, and I sense this will be the same.

I have always been a Germany fan but unfortunately, they can be said to have failed miserably in the World Cup and European Cup even though there are still doubts about them but there is hope that they can be better, Julian Nagelsmann is expected to be able to make this team better and there is that hope, especially seeing how he is when he is at Bayern Munich because his dismissal was just a mistake and not the real picture.
Germany is only in third place as favorites to win after England and France, in the group phase they should not experience any problems in qualifying for the knockout phase.

They will still top the group I believe. Hungary and Scotland are dangerous but somehow I think they will eat points from each other, so Germany will benefit from that.

Nagelsmann's tenure at Bayern was Bayern's loss, not his, now they are stuck with Kompany, who even they admitted without saying was their 5th or 6th choice. Karma baby!
Scotland also has a very strong national team and this qualifying cycle they had an extremely confident and won 5 victories, two draws and one defeat from Spain, so I think that Scotland is the favorite of the group, and not Germany, which did not pass the selection, and got to the tournament as the host of the championship.
Before the appointment of Nagelsmann they lost 6 friendly matches, including Japan, Poland, Colombia and generally looked very bad.
If we look at this group with an open mind, Germany will most likely fight for second place with Switzerland or Hungary.

You are right, because it is high time we start looking at the England's coach and the way he has managed his team, the reason why despite the fact that England have a strong squad that is capable of winning  even world cup,and they fumble after the group stage is something that has to be narrowed down to the coach, because if the coach was good enough, they would atleast get to either finals of any tournament.England is blessed with  good forwards, players who are capable of winning you anything, looking at their forward where we have Kane,Saka, and Foden, now Cole Parmer has joined them to be a top winger too, what else do they want to win a tournament?

France are the favorites at this EURO, they have a very strong team, and as for Germany, they are not going through the best of times, Negelsman will have to correct this, but in the match with Ukraine, although Germany attacked the entire match, they could not score a single goal. It is clear that this is a friendly match and in the official match everything could have been different, or Ukraine was simply lucky that they did not concede a goal in this match, since Germany attacked a lot.
We can not judge what and how the performance of any team now can be by using the friendly matches results. In friendly matches players are careful not to get injury that could deprive them of participating in the main event which is why am still vouching for Germany in going far in this  Euros especially as they are the host nation they will not want to do otherwise. Apart from Germany, there are other teams am fascinated about their squad which I do expect so much from them, teams like Belgium and England, I think their respective  coaches had carefully selected those  player's making them look like a more of an attacking squad than anything I could think of now.

They've got the squad, player's and also the coach, it all depends on how the coach manages these players for this Competition. Last time I watched the German machines was during the 2014 Fifa World Cup Competition Finals against Argentina. Ever since they have struggled with several coaches in charge. During the last two Euros and World Cup Competition held recently they have also found it difficult to qualify out of the group stage.

T's a great goodbye I'd love for Toni Kroos if Germany can be successful same way Real Madrid was successful during the  Champions League Competition.

They also have good players like Jamal Musiala, Sane, Kai Havertz, Jonathan Tah, Tony Rudiger, Florian Wirtz, Toni Kroos and Joshua Kimmich who also have shown zeal they're waiting to win the trophy.

All determines on Julian Nagelsmann right now, let's hope he has some offensive football to play with this quality players he's got

Southgate has made a mistake with his squad selection in my own opinion and with this I don't think England will lift this trophy that they are eagerly waiting for. I have taken a look at the squad and I see a lot of inexperienced players who hasn't really been tested on the bigger stage. The omission of big names like Harry Maguire, Jack Grealish and Madison is going to be costly for them. Sometimes it's about experience. Most of the players Southgate has assembled cannot deliver in a competition as big as Euros. Yes they have done well at club level but you know that club and international football are different games. I don't see any justification for dropping Maguire and Grealish, that of Madison I can understand. What do you think about this, do you think Maguire and Grealish doesn't deserve to be in that squad?

Someone create a conspiracy that Portugal will win this year, I agree with him. Portugal has a chance to win because they're second biggest contender in this year, even the bookie rated Portugal on rank 5th.

England, Germany, and Spain only have many good players, but they're always can't win anything. While Italy and Netherlands, they only strong in the past, now they're just a mediocre teams.

Yep, that's good logic but at the end of the day it can't be a benchmark because at the moment performance matters and when a team wants to be the best in the Euros they have to work hard for it.

Portugal currently has players whose average quality cannot be denied they are very good and it is very reasonable if in the end Portugal is currently one of the clubs that is indeed a favorite.
But indeed that is not enough because currently not only Portugal but France, England and even Germany as organizers clearly want positive results for them.

For Spain I don't know even though the majority of their young players are pretty good but I don't see a champion aura from them after Xavi and Iniesta and their era left everything changed it seems for Spain because they were not as good a few years ago.

Yes, France is always nominated as the favorite country in all editions of the Euro. Les Blues are always filled with great players so it would be a mistake if they were not taken into account. I feel confident that Les Blues will reach the semifinals. The presence of a senior player like Kante certainly brings a positive aura that makes the other players even more enthusiastic. Apart from France, Germany and England are also strong candidates, they have also released a pretty terrible squad. Especially for the Three Lions, this might be a big opportunity for them because the players they brought to Germany are really in their golden age. Hopefully the French and English final will be a dream final.
Based on the existing format, your hopes of seeing the final between France and England will not meet. If they have a chance to qualify from the group stage, they will meet earlier because both are in the same pot. Maybe in the round of 16 or the quarter-finals.

I doubt the England national team even though they are included in most people's favorite teams at Euro 2024.
Rather than England, I actually think that a good chance is with Germany who has the status of the host team even though in the last match they were only able to draw against Ukraine in a friendly match.
Who do you think are the other teams' chances at Euro 2024?

England have announced two of their players leaving the training camp. They are James Maddison and Curtis Jones.
For a team like England, any drop in form, either due to injury or any other reason, will put you in a position of disadvantage because there are many other players who can take your position. James Maddison is a very creative player, as we all know, but he was on injury for some time of the season with Tottenham, and since he returned, we know he hasn't been on a full stride. It would have been a difficult decision for Southgate to make, but he had to drop some players.

Jack Grealish was dropped as well; he has also not been his best for Manchester City. Injury and the purchase of Doku reduced his playing time.

History repeats itself sometimes, Eh? Yeah.
History will have to work harder to repeat itself this time again, many teams are in form.

So we are all on this tournament right now, which is very good to see, finally after a long wait a serious national teams tournament, the last one was the World cup on Qatar, in the far behind 2022.

I dont know how is the biggest contender, because all the national teams have weak points right now.

England seems very strong but you know... ENgland always ended up being not so good or losing it in the middle of the river.
The players that England currently has can be said to be extraordinary, and almost perfect for winning the Euro trophy this time. The reason is, the players from England are currently filled with great players such as Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Hary Kane, and many more. However, it is true, even though England always comes with very good players at the Euros, unfortunately England always fails to become champions. Because, as far as I know, as long as this Euro competition has been held, England has never once won a trophy. Even at the previous Euro (2020), England was able to reach the final with its great players. But unfortunately England's steps to lift the Euro trophy had to be thwarted by Italy via a penalty shootout. So at this Euro maybe England will play very well again considering the players England currently has are better than at the previous Euro. And I personally have a prediction that England will at least reach the semifinals at the Euros this time.
Yes, you could say that England is a strong candidate to win this edition of the Euros. The Three Lions have a pretty good squad and they are also in their golden age. Southgate must be able to unite England's star players so they can go as far as in 2020 and even win the championship. I don't see any other participating team that has a fairly even squad so there is no reason for Southgate to fail again and this time it will be a gamble for his position.
That's right, friend, the squad that England has in the euro this time can be said to be the strongest, so if we compare it with the squads of other countries that have also entered the euro, then we can be sure that the England squad is the strongest. the strongest. However, it is not only the role of the players that determines whether or not a team can win a competition, the role of the coach is also an equally important factor. So even though England currently has a lot of great players, if for example the team's brain (coach) can't implement a good strategy, I don't think the results will be good either.

Apart from that, even though England currently has a squad that can be said to be the strongest and also has the most expensive price. However, we must also not forget that England has tough competitors at the Euros this time. Like Portugal, at the euro this time Ronaldo as a senior player will definitely perform optimally so that his country can lift the euro trophy again. Because if you look at his almost 40 years of age, this year's Euro will certainly be Ronaldo's last. Therefore, Portugal cannot be taken lightly in the euro this time and will probably be a tough competitor for England.

But this conspiracy does seem quite reasonable. Even if you look at the current condition and strength of the Portuguese team, this team has quite a high chance this season. If this season happens again to be exactly what happened in 2016 then it will be a very interesting repeat of events. Real Madrid has succeeded in winning the UCL title, Man United has succeeded in winning the FA Cup title. And all that's left is the Euro. Will Portugal also succeed? yeah this will make Euro 2024 much more interesting. And if Portugal can really win the title then of course that will be quite exciting news. Because this will probably be the last time for C.Ronaldo to play and fight at Euro 2024 with the Portuguese national team.
