Not the best evening for Turkish clubs - Galatasaray wasted 2;0 lead and ended 2:2 with RFS, Besiktas had no chance against Eintracht and Fenerbahche draw with Twente.
Rangers continue what Celtic started few days ago. Maybe loss against Lyon at home 1;4 isn't that shameful as 1:7, butstill, awful result.
And MU just being MU, what to say about them Cheesy?

Why is that Galatasaray used to surprise people with their performance every time they played, Galatasaray won the game with three goals from the first half and the game ended 4-3 at the end of the game, Galatasaray defensive players are not serious and this is how they did in their league also, I see them as the favorite to win the Europa League title but with this their performance if they did not take care they will not even reach the semi-final stage of the league.

Many teams are very strong and if they face Galatasaray they will defeat Galatasaray because Galatasaray players can't keep a clean sheet whenever they are playing against any team, Galatasaray coach needs to let the defensive position strong and also tells his players not to concede any goal when playing against any team, although there is no way that they can't concede but it is too much.

Gala almost did another Gala, wasting their lead but somehow still coming away with a win. Braga was my pick if I had one, but they fell narrowly at home hosting Bodoe/Glimt -- I really need to sit down properly at some point to study some of the odds.

But all we care about is tomorrow, right? Fener's stuttering in their bid to win the league, can Mou smash United and consign them to the bottom third of the league?
I have always had a firm believe that Galatasaray will win, Braga too was also one of the games I had earlier anticipated to be a walk in the park but it didn't work out the way I thought and it seems the Portuguese side are finding it difficult this season playing in the European competition and may not make it to the next round if they continue this way, but Fernerbache  against Manchester united is going to be very toxic match I guess, because both sides have got a point to prove.

Manchester united need the winning to keep their hopes alive in the competition whereas Fernerbache also need the winning to also stay afloat so it is actually going to be a clash of the Titans, Jose Mourinho against Erik Ten Hag, it is going to be a game of chances, and whichever side can utilize their chances may emerge the winner of the match.

I hope Jose Mourinho will field the best squad for the match against Manchester United. Some of his choices may be criticized but I am sure he will field the best 11 against Manchester United. Also Jayden Oosterwolde will be injured for 6-8 months and this is a big problem for Fenerbahçe. If we can manage this problem well and add a good player there, I hope we will not have any problems in this area because Jayden was one of the best.

When it comes to the matches I tried to follow the matches of the Turkish teams. Galatasaray played against a really small team actually but they got a very surprising result. This must be RFS' biggest success in the Europa League. As for Fenerbahçe, their performance didn't improve. This could have caused us to lose against Twente but somehow we got a draw. But by playing like this I don't think we could make it to top 8.

Beşiktaş are the worst starting team among them. They are at the bottom and I even doubt their chance for playoffs.

it was a bad day for Turkish teams. Beşiktaş has not won any points yet.
It is a great misfortune for Beşiktaş in the European league.
He cannot play the game he wants in Fenerbahçe, En Nesyri was criticized a lot, but the effort he showed in the Twente match made me feel that he can be more compatible with the team in the following matches.
I hope so, even if it is a little, he will play more comfortably and turn the positions he wants into goals. Smiley

It was a really good day for us. We managed to defeat Royale Union SG by 2-1 home.

I have changed my mind about this after being able to watch the highlights. It wasn't really one of our best performances as it seems. Sad I don't know how we manage to be this horrible at defending. It was our lucky day that our opponent wasted a lot of chances. Besides En-Nesyri turned out to be a disappointing striker. We paid €20m for him but he is still not able to score most of the chances he finds. Dzeko is also really old despite being better than him.

I really envy the striker options like Icardi and Osimhen at Galatasaray. We also need reliable strikers like that.

Hopefully, Fenerbahçe can do it. Mourinho certainly does not want to lose in his first Europa League match with Fenerbahçe. especially in the previous match, they lost 1-3 from Galatasaray. now they are already 1 goal ahead, although, at the beginning of the match, they were not like Union Saint-Gilloise who got several chances and managed to make shots. but slowly Fenerbahçe made a few chances and they became goals.
The game and tactics are very typical of Mourinho. but they can't be calm, this is only the first half and the match is still ongoing. the opponent also got several chances. Fenerbahçe should have been able to score 2 goals in this match.
I know Mourinho has high hopes for the Europa League, when they were knocked out of the Champions League qualification, he said that it was too difficult for them, but they could do better in the Europa League. The match with Royal Union was difficult, maybe they were lucky that McAllister got a red card because the opponent was putting pressure on their goal, then there was an own goal, so there was a bit of luck for Fenerbahce in this match, but the most important thing is that they got 3 points.

Slavia Prague, on the other hand, managed to beat their opponent 2-0 away. The opponent is one of the most important teams in the league and despite being in good form, they had no presence at home in this match. They finished the match with only one shot on target.
Galatasaray defeated PAOK 3-1 at home with a goal in the second half. Galatasaray played dominant football in both halves and had little difficulty in winning.
If we talk about the Galatasaray match, although they won, the positions they gave in the defense zone were a big problem. PAOK players could not take advantage of clear opportunities. They went on very easy attacks and managed to shoot the goal in many positions. Towards the end of the match, as a result of successful attacks, they scored 2 more goals and won the match 3-1. It was a sad match for PAOK because they returned empty-handed from this match.
Galatasaray definitely looked dominant enough, I feel like if they started this good, and looking at their schedule they will be playing with easier opponents soon, there is a potential that they could maybe win 5 out of first 6 games with ease if they make no mistake. They will play RFS, they will play Elfsborg, they will obviously play against Spurs, but then they will play Alkmar and then Malmo.

Looking at these teams, Spurs is one that could beat Galatasaray, still unknown because they end up playing not that well at times, but lets say they may get that, and maybe Alkmar could be a tie or something, but all others look super easy wins if Galatasaray doesn't fail and lose games to inferior teams, so this start is great for them.

Tottenham Hotspur were able to won Qarabag with a Red card since in the first half of the game till full time. it was really a great performance from Tottenham Hotspur players because despite the 10 men they were still playing very well in the game and the penalty kick that was missed by Qarabag player also gave them more confident to dominate the game in the second half and (Dominic Solanke )was able to score his first goal in the UEFA Europe league. However, looking at the way Tottenham Hotspur played against Qarabag I think they are going to do well this season.

6. Lyon - Olympiacos
Lyon got all the points from this game. They deserved to win it because they were on the attack from the first half into the second half where they finally able to score the goal after many attempts failed by the clearance of the defenders or the saves from the Olympiacos goalkeeper. The Lyon goalkeeper had some very good saves too in the game because there were some opportunities that Olympiacos were able to create for themselves and should have been goals if the goalkeeper was not switched on in the game.
Roma could not hold their lead against Athletic Club.

It was a really good day for us. We managed to defeat Royale Union SG by 2-1 home. Livakovic is getting better in time as far as I have heard. He saved a penalty in this match. He was criticized really much in his first times but now he is really doing his best for the team. But it is not good to hear the way Beşiktaş lost today. Ajax destroyed them by 4-0 and they couldn't even answer with any goal. Losing to one of the worst versions of Ajax must be feeling awful.  Sad

There are some good games going on, but I am still stuck on yesterday. Manchester United once again failed to win, and they are still insisting on a manager that finds absolutely no blame on himself at all, and only blames other stuff. It could be players, it could be refs, it could be weather, it could be even the pitch but never him.

I think they need to get rid of him already so that they could have someone better, I understand that there aren't any better alternatives out there right now, free agent managers are all looking not good enough for United, and I think we should be considering how much they are willing to spend as well. But, I think there is this idea in my mind, and I know that will be quite terrible and expensive and probably won't work, but how about Diego Simeone? I know he has a huge contract, but just pay off and get him? That could be insane for them.

Here is the list of today's Europa League matches:

1. Fenerbahçe - Union
2. Malmö - Rangers
3. Tottenham - Qarabag
4. Braga - Maccabi Tel Aviv
5. FCSB - Riga Football School
6. Lyon - Olympiacos
7. Roma - Athletic
8. Eintracht - Viktoria
9. Ajax - Besiktas

I'm most excited about the Roma vs Athletic match, but I'm also looking forward to Tottenham vs Qarabag. However, in my opinion, Qarabag is not an easy opponent for Tottenham.

Manchester united failed to secure their three points against Twente after Ericksen scored in the 35th minutes they could not hold the game till full time. It was really a nice comeback from Twente players after Lammers level the scores 1:1 in the 68th minutes they were able to hold Manchester united full time draw in their home ground. However, I think Manchester united pattern of playing is always unpredictable just last week Saturday they draw with Crystal palace and they are still going to play with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday which is going be a though one for them.
We watched an excellent performance from both teams because both teams gave their hundred percent to win this match and we saw result in the side of no team. Both teams got 1,1 point and both teams also have same position on points table and both teams players have same capability to win the match. But I was Supporting Man United team because they can play well in any situation and they also gave good performance in today match but they could not win this match . Their shots were more in number and and their possession percentage was also good and that was 57 percent and their passes were 539 as comparison to 405 passes of Twente team.
