There are some good games going on, but I am still stuck on yesterday. Manchester United once again failed to win, and they are still insisting on a manager that finds absolutely no blame on himself at all, and only blames other stuff. It could be players, it could be refs, it could be weather, it could be even the pitch but never him.

I think they need to get rid of him already so that they could have someone better, I understand that there aren't any better alternatives out there right now, free agent managers are all looking not good enough for United, and I think we should be considering how much they are willing to spend as well. But, I think there is this idea in my mind, and I know that will be quite terrible and expensive and probably won't work, but how about Diego Simeone? I know he has a huge contract, but just pay off and get him? That could be insane for them.

Here is the list of today's Europa League matches:

I'm most excited about the Roma vs Athletic match, but I'm also looking forward to Tottenham vs Qarabag. However, in my opinion, Qarabag is not an easy opponent for Tottenham.

We watched an excellent performance from both teams because both teams gave their hundred percent to win this match and we saw result in the side of no team. Both teams got 1,1 point and both teams also have same position on points table and both teams players have same capability to win the match. But I was Supporting Man United team because they can play well in any situation and they also gave good performance in today match but they could not win this match . Their shots were more in number and and their possession percentage was also good and that was 57 percent and their passes were 539 as comparison to 405 passes of Twente team.

Hopefully, Fenerbahçe can do it. Mourinho certainly does not want to lose in his first Europa League match with Fenerbahçe. especially in the previous match, they lost 1-3 from Galatasaray. now they are already 1 goal ahead, although, at the beginning of the match, they were not like Union Saint-Gilloise who got several chances and managed to make shots. but slowly Fenerbahçe made a few chances and they became goals.
The game and tactics are very typical of Mourinho. but they can't be calm, this is only the first half and the match is still ongoing. the opponent also got several chances. Fenerbahçe should have been able to score 2 goals in this match.

If we talk about the Galatasaray match, although they won, the positions they gave in the defense zone were a big problem. PAOK players could not take advantage of clear opportunities. They went on very easy attacks and managed to shoot the goal in many positions. Towards the end of the match, as a result of successful attacks, they scored 2 more goals and won the match 3-1. It was a sad match for PAOK because they returned empty-handed from this match.

Here we go again for another Europa League match, yesterday was successful and was happy with the result unless for Manchester United that play very poorly, jose mourinho are in the game tonight and  I expect Victory from him.

Slavia Prague, on the other hand, managed to beat their opponent 2-0 away. The opponent is one of the most important teams in the league and despite being in good form, they had no presence at home in this match. They finished the match with only one shot on target.
Galatasaray defeated PAOK 3-1 at home with a goal in the second half. Galatasaray played dominant football in both halves and had little difficulty in winning.

I didn't need to see them to think that. Far, far better teams than United in Europa. I did, somehow, still find a way to overestimate them, thinking they'd secure 3 points with a B squad. Credit to Twente, and a sign to others not to let Old Trafford cow you.

It's a shame that a club like Manchester United that claims to be the biggest in England could win comfortably against Twente, I wonder if this is how they're going to win the Europa League, sometimes I ask myself what's really the problem with the team cause they've got all it takes to win coupled with the new changes Ineos have brought so far but I've thought about it and I've seen that everything falls back to the Coach, Erik Ten Hag's favouritism is getting too much and if he's not seeing that Bruno Fernández is killing their game then I wonder what he's thinking as a coach. Manchester United didn't even play like a team that were eager to win they just did what they could in the first half and relaxed in the second 45mins. If you notice, Twente were much more eager in that game, they defended properly, pressured Manchester United sometimes and even utilised the chance they had due to Eriksen's error properly. The performance from Manchester United in the second 45mins is nothing to write home about, no wonder they're in the 11th position in the EPL, they need to improve and start doing better as for the coach if he doesn't realize that some of his favoured players needs to be rested and would cost him his job if he continues playing them without good results then I don't think he deserves coaching them regardless of his achievement with the club.

Anderlecht managed to defeat their in-form opponent Ferencvaros 2-1. The first half ended goalless and the goals came in the second half. Anderlecht was better than their opponent and deserved to win.
Dynamo Kiev hosted Lazio. Kiev lost 3-0 at home against Lazio. Lazio pulled the plug on their opponent in the first half and won the match with goals in the first half. It was strange that Lazio's Noslin got a red card 3 minutes after he came on.

The result of this match all came as expected but among them I felt disappointed with one game which is Manchester United – Twente, Manchester United disappointed me because they couldn't be able to create any big chances after dominating every side, I was disappointed and this show how weak they still are and I think they can't perform anything good this season with the look of things, they have straight two matches draw which if you talk of Tottenham I will say they are strong but what about Twente that I don't expect anything but goals and they end up drawing against them when  other big teams are collecting the three points with easy.

Manchester United failed to start their campaign in the first Europa League match with maximum results, It wasn't a great result as they were playing in front of their own fans, but it was no surprise that they failed to secure the three points at Old Trafford as their form has been very unstable of late. Twente players managed to do their job well, even though they were playing at the opponent's home, they played pressing and played disciplined when defending. The resistance given by Twente players managed to make it difficult for Manchester United to maintain their lead. This result means Man United have to be satisfied with just one point, they are now in 11th place which is the same position in the Premier League standings.

Manchester united failed to secure their three points against Twente after Ericksen scored in the 35th minutes they could not hold the game till full time. It was really a nice comeback from Twente players after Lammers level the scores 1:1 in the 68th minutes they were able to hold Manchester united full time draw in their home ground. However, I think Manchester united pattern of playing is always unpredictable just last week Saturday they draw with Crystal palace and they are still going to play with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday which is going be a though one for them.

I had my interest mostly on the Manchester united - Twente match. I thought they could have given themselves some credit tonight by winning Twente but they were just a bunch of disappointment as they couldn't protect the early one goal they had from the first half. This team is really struggling and I don't see them going far in this competition if they couldn't win Twente on their soil.

Galatasaray also picked my interest since Victor Osimhen is playing there I have always want to know what goes on with them in any of their games. They had a grandslam victory against their visitors PAOK leaving them with a one consolation goal. All the 4 goals in that match came in the second half after a barren tough first half between the two.

Going by the results of this first leg, I am picking Lazio, Galatasaray, Real Sociedad as my top three favourites teams that will make it far in this competition. Manchester united is out of the equation for now.

It is nice to hear that Galatasaray won by 3-1 against PAOK today. Normally they are our rival team of course. But for the sake of country coefficient, I want all Turkish teams in European tournaments to be successful. Tomorrow Fenerbahçe are going to play against Royale Union SG. I hope we can win this match. We should underestimate our opponent. Because they fought really hard against us the last time. I hope we can boost some morale after the derby loss in our domestic league.

Just like in the UEFA Champions League opening matches; the first two games yield almost 10 goals which is very impressive because it shows how well prepared all the teams for the Europa League challenge because there are many teams that we have been underrated and they will prove us wrong in my opinion with this new group stage format since it will be based on accumulated points and goals scored.

Among the remaining games of the night, Lazio is the only team that have scored up to three goals, the remaining games didn't give enough goals, but Manchester United, Slavia Praha, and Midtylland are leading their games, while other teams are playing draw. let's wait and see how the matches will end; can the Europa League bring more goals?

The first games of the day ended with the same score. AZ Alkmaar were heavy favorites against their opponent. They were the more dominant side, but Elfsborg scored every time they attacked.
Bodo Glimt had an unexpected win. With a surprise 3-2 win against Porto, Bodo has already achieved one of the surprise results of the day. Although Porto tried their luck, they couldn't score enough goals to win. At the beginning of the second half, Bodo, with 10 men, lost control of the game, but tried to find a goal and open the gap. I definitely think they deserved it.

Galatasaray played one of the biggest matches in Turkey over the weekend. They won against Fenerbahçe by scoring three goals away. This boosted their morale a lot. There is an hour left for the match and Galatasaray is currently motivated. The Greek team is a strong team, they should not be underestimated. Galatasaray knows how important it is to win three points in this match in Istanbul. If they lose any points in this match, it will make their chances of reaching the next round difficult because they will still have to go away.

The Manchester United team I am seeing currently will not be able to win the Europa league with this performance. Ten Hag have not been able to stabilize the team. They might make it to the quarter finals but if they meet a formidable side, they will be knocked out

I really wanted to see more Turkish teams in the Champions League, but Galastataray lost out in the playoffs. The special one has lots of experience in the Europa League. Jose Mourinho won the silver medal with Roma and might help Fenerbahçe succeed in the competition. But I think Galastataray had a better chance of winning the Europa Cup.
