The latest information, version 0.38.1 Unstoppable wallet has also been released, but it is still pre-release.

https://github.com/horizontalsystems/unstoppable-wallet-android/releases/tag/0.38.1
Sharp info! Have it in mind that more updates will be added to the new versions so in my own opinion I feel it is better to wait for the updates to be completed before sharing info. However, i understand you are trying to keep track of what they are building inside and let everyone know.

1. MAJOR BITCOIN UPGRADE
Accelerate/cancel pending Bitcoin transactions.

First, do not use the word 'accelerate' because on this forum, it means a different thing from bump fee or increase fee by double spending or replace-by-fee. This are the common terms used as what Unstoppable wallet meant as 'speed up'. Or you could have just use 'speed up'.

Second, there are other updates about bitcoin that you skipped but which is what that is most important to us. You can now use coin control on Unstoppable wallet. Users can preview previously used addresses for incoming bitcoin payments. Also we can add memo now for incoming bitcoin payments.

Bitcoin wallets within Unstoppable received substantial enhancements:

users are now able to speed up / cancel pending Bitcoin transactions.

advanced and/or privacy-conscious users have the ability to control which Bitcoin UTXOs are used for transactions.

users are now able to view previously used addresses for incoming Bitcoin payments.

finally, there is an option to add public on-chain notes (memos) to outgoing Bitcoin payments.

The abovementioned improvements also apply to other Bitcoin-like blockchains i.e. Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

But it is nice that you brought this.

Thank you for warning me. My use of the word 'accelerate' is not appropriate here. I should have used the words 'speed up' as written in highlight version 0.38.0.

So true. I did not include these points and only informed one point which I quoted regarding 'users are now able to speed up / cancel pending Bitcoin transactions', as initial information which can then be seen for themselves by users who read it.

The 3 points consisting of coin control, 'users are now able to view previously used addresses for incoming Bitcoin payments', and the addition of memos to outgoing Bitcoin payments which are updated in this latest version are very important.

But how in the world do I swap one Coin or another in the Unstoppable wallet?
Note that Unstoppable is using third party exchange partners for this swaps, they claim to all be decentralized (uniswap, pancake, 1inch) but I don't know how they are doing swaps with Bitcoin.
I also noticed that Tor settings enabled can sometimes create issue with some coins and swaps.

Before using better check our Unstoppable faq page:

Click on the coin that you want to swap. You will see the swap icon which you can click on.

https://talkimg.com/images/2024/04/17/jJhPf.jpeg

The third icon from the left is the swap icon which I circle in while. You can click on the coin to change it and also click on select to change it to a token you want to swap to on the swap page.

Thank you.
Interesting - on the iPhone App there is not that button...

Hey people,

great forum.

I have probably a “stupid” question:

But how in the world do I swap one Coin or another in the Unstoppable wallet?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. I would like to say that after the problem of synchronizing ustoppable wallets on Ethereum and USDT (ERC20) coins that I also experienced, now they have the latest update available for the Infura problem in version 0.37.6 even though it is still in pre-release status.

Here's the update version 0.37.6 pre-release: https://github.com/horizontalsystems/unstoppable-wallet-android/releases/tag/0.37.6

Full Changelog: 0.37.5...0.37.6

@virusog, you should try the blockchain settings there. I was helped after doing this. Now I want to update this application and will return to share my experience after that.

Have you tried to update the blockchain setting for the Ethereum chain in the unstoppable wallet?

Here are the steps:-

Go to Settings ---> Block Chain Settings ----> Ethereum

Here you will be asked to select the source the unstoppable wallet will use to sync the wallets.

By default the source is selected as "Infura", change it to "LIamaNodes" (https://eth.LLamarpc.com)

Note the setting will automatically be applied to all the wallets. Hopefully, this will resolve your sync issues for the Ethereum blockchain.

Hi. This is quite helpful that can make ETH and USDT (ERC20) back to normal in my Unstoppable Android wallet.

I noticed, before the blockchain settings were carried out on the Unstoppable wallet, the Ethereum coin was used infura (mainnet.infura) for synchronizing wallet(s).
After the changes are made in the settings from the mainnet.infura to llamanodes, the result is synchronizing working well as usual.

Thank You.

I am facing a strange issue now on my unstoppable wallet and it is annoying and frustrating above all, I am not sure what to do in this case  Huh

While my Bep20 tokens and tokens on other chains are syncing properly, but all of my Ethereum and Erc20 tokens aren't syncing at all in all the wallets in Unstoppable. I have tried to keep the wallet open thinking it may take longer to sync, but of no use.

You can simply use seed words Unstoppable wallet generated and import them in some other wallet of your choice, maybe Stack wallet or OneKey wallet.

I haven't used the stack wallet however I am not comfortable with OneKey wallet as it is a bit techy to use as you have to add/select different chains to see their tokens. Unstoppable wallet is easy enough to use but I do not understand why this sync issue has been appearing in this wallet recently.

I also experienced the same problem. I've enabled Tor settings on unstoppable wallet in settings, but ETH and USDT (ERC20) don't work well.
The Unstoppable Wallet that I am currently using is in the latest version which was updated on Feb 29 as the last update according to releases horizontalsystem, Version 0.37.5

I do not enable TOR however my wallet is also the updated latest one. I tried to search on the internet but did not find any resolution specifically related to Unstoppable Wallet.

Do you have Tor settings enabled in your settings?
And did you updated Unstoppable wallet to latest version?
Try disabling Tor and reinstalling wallet and see if that fixes your problem.

I can't move/send my funds to any other wallet due to this syncing problem and i am really worried.
If anyone have some solution on how to fix this and why it happened in the first place ?

Since my initial installation, BNB on the BEP2 network has never synchronized properly for me. However, there haven't been any issues with BEP20. Is this really a bug in the application, or is it just me experiencing this?

Have you tried testing Stack wallet or other wallets from this list I created as alternative to Coinomi wallet?
Nope. I don't like installing unknown software, so I install as little apps as possible. I don't want to risk compromising my phone for the dust amounts of altcoins I have.

My Unstoppable wallet "forgot" it's Litecoin data today. It had to restart syncing from 2014. I use Tor and "Slow, Private" Blockchain settings, and it takes hours and several GB of data. It's still running, and uses a lot of power. I had to connect the charger because of the battery consumption (my phone has been warm for hours). I don't know what caused this.
I think they released a new update recently so maybe they fixed the problem you had, but you can't expect to have no issues with any multicoin wallets, more shitcoins just means more issues  Tongue

Unlike Unstoppable, Stack wallet has coin control and it also have Tor support, but there are some bugs in desktop version (for me).

Is it possible that we can use the unstoppable wallet seed to import it into any other wallets?
Worst case, you can probably recover all your private keys using Ian Coleman's Mnemonic Code Converter (with the usual security precautions, such as offline, airgapped, curtains closed, and burn the computer in holy fire afterwards). Usually I'd try that before funding, but I'm only keeping small amounts in this (or any other) mobile wallet, so I didn't bother.
