Update your forum signature to support VirtualCoin & respond back with your VC address, I will personally donate VirtualCoin to you. You can find sample signature on page 1 of this forum.

While supplies last.

Edit: This is for all new users to VC.

The status of the beginner doesn't allow to put such long signature. I will add as soon as it will be possible.

Since their is so much activity going on around VC mining, what is a better option?
Buy VC from exchange while it is still really cheap or just mine.

Buying if you can get it cheap. Mining won't get you much coins
Yeah it's hard to mine with that dif but that price? Rly funny ill buy that much what i can ^^
I really wish I had more BTC to buy more VC.

Is there anything special about this coin?

No Roadmap, no blockexplorer, no twitter. No newbie dev (thats a plus).

Any plans with this one?
There is going to be Bitcoin ATM support. Android Wallet (I think) and probably a block explorer.

We need a bounty.

Correct, it was meant to be simple that most users able to understand.

No PoS+PoW etc.

Coin was meant to be traded in real world like bitcoin currency. That was the reason, launching the coin & immediately dumping it on some exchange was never been a focus.

Like I said before several times, it is a long term coin. Slowly things will fall in place.

people need a reason to buy this coin

I agree, maybe there should be a virtual market in the works.

Is their a solid road map plan? I have been tapping into all my contacts to try and help this coin get noticed. Hoping to push notice out to the community.

My previous offer of a bounty fund is still open, however I think it would be mad to sell any of them at the current price.

Please don't tell me people are dumping because there is another fork.

Edit: False Alarm my date and time somehow got changed to yesterday.

With current upgraded code & dynamic checkpoints in place, it would be near impossible to fork Wink

btw, net hashrate today during daytime in North America went over 5 GH/s with difficulty past 250 mark.

Nice, must have haopened when i was sleeping, i live in EU. I see the price was ok hours ago but now its dropping again, hope it will stabilize soon.

Net Hashrate is at 1.74 GH/s with difficulty of 97.06. VirtualCoin to the moon!

Why are people dumping at 7500?

It connects to seed, then you get socket recv error 10054 while downloading blocks.

It means, either your PC or ISP modem/router blocking it.

if you google "socket recv error 10054", it is not a virtual coin wallet issue, but something on your PC.

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/12952/how-to-resolve-no-block-source-available-and
http://www.wisegeek.org/what-are-the-common-causes-of-socket-error-10054.htm#comments

I hope this helps.

I gave up on this, nothing worked to fix it.
I installed the wallet on a VPS off-network and it is working fine.
Not worth stressing over any more and aggravating myself.
Thanks for trying to help though...
