That wall on bitstamp @ 254 is finally taking a beating.

"This is the first time the cryptocurrency has set a price record since the price reached $266, and then imploded, in April." <-- from the article.

I think imploded is a bit strong there.
Should we all point this out per email? It is on the page Smiley

I think "imploded" is fair.

As fair as calling Mt.Gox "the largest Bitcoin exchange".

You're never too old to think young.
Now, in all honesty...

Who are these people buying 10+ BTC now? Like "Durp, gonna wait until we're ABOVE the ATH to buy tons of coins"

I'm glad they're doing it, but it's strange....
People who had to wait for their fiat deposits to clear? I'm sure they're not happy having to wait this long.

Oh, for those days when you could take your cash anonymously to the bank and be buying coins an hour later.

I think it would have been nice to have an animation anyway after the long Bitcoin winter.

So, time to switch to a different exchange for measuring highs?

we all know the bitcoin stamp is the real price, but we want to party anyway Smiley

Well, the stamp high was lower anyway. The China high, that's a bit more difficult... Cheesy

Maybe they suspect they'll be a "break out" since we crossed the ATH.

And didn't spring back down at 264 / 265$
