Bitcoin is reaching an absolute bottom at 3-4k USD levels. When the bottom is so near, it would only make sense to hold onto and even add to your altcoin positions
because during the pursuant bull run, some promising altcoins will very likely outperform BTC's rise, as they traditionally have, thereby making exponentially more in fiat terms.

Now that the market is down it would be preferable to invest on projects that look good and with future, because selling is not near a good option, you would lose more than what you earn.
Now that the market is down, it would be better to hold patiently, expecting the prices to rise on a few months, or if you have some money you could try investing on a few altcoins that may look promising at a low price. Study the price of the bitcoin because altcoins seem to fluctuate depending on the price of BTC.

I hold my all atcoins. I even bought some more during this bloodbath. I believe altcoins will recover sooner than Bitcoin will. Some at least, with potential.
I plan to keep my altcoins for at least another 6 months, and if the price does not rise, then 12 months. I don't see the point in selling Ethereum for 400 bucks.

In my portfolio there are coins such as Eth, OAX, XLM,Ada, Rebl, TNC(Trinity). In the near future I will not sell them. OAX plan to keep until the summer release of the prototype.
Actually i still holding ethereum because i bought its in wrong time when price was too high, now i must waiting for growth. In this moment i have 60% worth of my wallet but i believie it will be change in next weeks
I am still holding on my altcoins, not a good time to sell it now. I’ve sold a few last year when the prices are good and still selling some only when I need money. I am still buying altcoins if I see a good opportunity, especially when the coins are cheap. I’m holding until the end of the year or until the prices increases again. The altcoins I am holding as of now are ethereum, omg and neo.

I am holding them for almost 3 months and not all of them are growing up, most of them are steady and not rising. Only one or two has significant value. I would hold them till their maximum that I could.

Hold until it will have a value, set a goal for you to sell dont be too greedy cause it can lead to loss. Help promote your coins so it will get its value faster.

Or course im still holding my altcoins. Some of them i sold to bought another altcoins.
About opportunity to buy altcoin, i think now is the chance to buy more coins because the price still low.
I am going to Hold my TRON (TRX) long term as I expect it to reach around 1$ within a year from now. I am also a longtime holder of xvg. Both of these coins have been accepted on Porn Hub I really think its going to help drive up the price for longterm. Due to anonymity!
