Like others have said, I remove myself from the situation but I also have a 10 minute rule.  If I find myself angry for more than 10 minutes I just stop, change channels and start over.  It takes awhile to master this, but it works for me.

i Stop talking and try to calm my mind and assess the things that is happening because anger won't help in any situation

True. I also look at the mirror and somehow end up laughing/smiling it off. If that doesn't work, I go for a cigarette break.

Look at the mirror.
It's a fact that we humans don't want to see ourselves in a anguished way.
That's why some front desks have a huge mirror by the back for this very reason.

If you're really having a hard time of calming your anger maybe you should ask for help in an anger management institution. But for me, when Im in a rage of anger, I sit down, lie down or drink a water or you may as well get a bath. Its incredible but simple and yet very effective.

Handling anger is important life skill that's right
but sometimes people struggles to get rid of it. I know everyone experience anger most specially when someone attempting or to have violated our boundaries we get extremely reacted and get angry. for me, its not easy to get calm when i'm in extremely  angered, So what do you do guys to calm down your anger can you give some idea to overcome or get rid of it.


I need to get out from the things that makes me get mad so usually i go somewhere to calm myself.

Take a glass of water and talk a walk to quench your anger.

I hate when people tell me to calm down. It irritates me to no ends, and I calm down by tearing them a new ****. Telling them off. I'm tired of the trolls.

i always hold on to one principle : move away from the trigger, go take a time off, reflect over what happens and give yourself enough time to make decisions, or else you might regret the immediate decision you'll make at your anger moment

I usually go to the park, beach or a memorial. Something about
open, quite and scenic places gives you some distance and peace.
Listening to music helps a lot too.  Grin

For me the best ways to calm down my anger are:

- go for a walk
- do some sports
- meditate

Usually I sleep it off or take a short nap to forget I was ever angry and calm down when I wake up. Or I listen to some old songs, like songs from the early 90's and sing to the lyrics of these songs and I wouldn't notice that I was ever angry earlier.

If i got anger sometimes i just want to be alone and i'll just cry&cry to so that i cant do some bad things..

Deep breathe in and out 10 times. So the pulse goes down and the mind is leveled slightly.

I listen to my favorite music and eat some foods that make me happy.

I try to remove myself mentally from my surroundings and try to sink in my imagination and thoughts, I sometimes take a walk, or just simply try to stay alone for some time.
