Thank you for your advice. Yeah, sometimes I hold onto too many tokens, and from 2017 until now, only 3-4 tokens have survived out of 50. I still made a profit from that strategy, but I regret not selling many tokens just because I wanted to hold onto them longer, even when they were listed and people kept selling. I still hoped for a miracle when the developers said everything was alright or something like that, but in the end, they abandoned the project. Lol.

That's right and you're right and they don't hesitate to dump them en masse regardless of how many already hold the tokens. In fact, this is what everyone who holds Alt coins should know.

Many have become collections and are never heard of again. I also have quite a lot of shitcoins in my investment wallet. So, if we draw the basic conclusion that the best solution is to look for the fundamental ones, the others are only temporary.

But, Look at Hex coins how they are now. i will be monitoring this coin from now on as it is rising unlike other coins still very good to buy right now.

HEX? still in tank 221? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hex/ and seems that the market is now dumping so expect that all low ranking coins will be more than affected not unless they will be using that said coin as Pump and Dump coin.
I will focus in keeping all my shitcoins in holding because I have no plans in selling them now.

For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.

It depends on the campaign we are participating in. I personally first see whether the project is good or not and see who the bounty manager is who organizes the bounty, then I join the bounty campaign and I don't expect more about the prize because it can be said that sometimes luck also applies, that's why I Usually, when I get a prize, I sell it straight away. I hold it for a week at most, because in my personal experience, the exchange rate for prizes drops by 50% on average, that's why I sell at the beginning. That's why the prizes from the campaign have gone down because on average those who get prizes immediately sell their tokens.

Luck plays well with most of the projects that you'll going to join the campaing, like you, it's better not to expect that much and if you already have the chance to sell what you've got from the early stage of the bounty release, better to sell and and enjoy whatever the price that you've gain, just move forward to another campaign and repeat the cycle, time might come that you'll be able to make some decent amount of money from each campaign, just make sure to participate with managers who have good credentials think that they may not waste time or they'll not going to sacrifice their reputation, chances is good to make some benefits.

I have joined many campaigns, and all of them have some similar patterns. Like the price will drop when you can sell. Many people just sell immediately after receiving the reward. Some project prices will keep falling down. But there are still projects that come back strong. I usually hold all rewards for a long time. I join a campaign because I really like it among other campaigns.

There are different treatments when you join a campaign, I like the fact that you can use your rewards to invest as well, but similar patterns with each projects, as long as you make some money then it's  good to go.

If the token has been listed before distribution of reward then you should sell it without worrying for the future because everyone is in Struggle to sell their bitcoin at higher price so if more people sell their coin the price will automatically reduces and if you are waiting for pump then you will see that at the end your coin will possess no value.

If your coin is not listed yet then waiting give a sense because after listing on exchange the value of that token will increases so you can double your profit in such situations. Sometimes holding is necessary and sometimes holding does not give you anything so always think about the situations and try to make a decision according to it because holding will not give you profit all the time.

Since this coins have no value now it is expected to hodl them to see if later they can improve in the market,  because this is the only thing that can be done. It is the future that will determine what value a coin will possess,  it is only by hodling that we can see what these coins can show in the market. A coin with no value,  it won't make sense to sell out because their won't be any gain for selling,  it is better to just hodl it if the price will increase better in the market.

Mate what if you continue holding but the coin keeps depreciating in price what will you do, I think most altcoin doesn't possess the capacity to improve in the market so the best thing to do is to invest in much more promising bitcoin which has shown a high level of trust and hope for it's investors.
Instead of using the money for your investment to invest in altcoin why not do a DCA strategy with those funds in bitcoin, it is better to invest in a reliable coin than to invest in a high speculated coin that may fail to give you a desired profit in the long run, before we accept an investment, we should be able to identify it's life spam.

I never hold altcoins those i received from altcoins signature campaign, mostly such coins are not worthy and hunter rush to sell coins after they received payment and if listed in exchanges, so everyone will sell quick, but some coin are good potential then i will decide to hold it, and now in my wallet some coins are worth of few dollars so i can not trade it and so i am waiting if in the future these will increase then i can sell.

Well Is better to hold than to sell it you never can tell a coin with a low value today can still gain value thou there is no certainty but is better to hold than to be filled with regrets when it finally come up , i will not sell even if it drop to zero. That is why is always said that that invest more than you can afford to lose and that is my choice.  I know we are going to respond differently individually as regards to this.

Personally, if a coin's price drops so low that it might as well be zero, I'll sometimes hold onto it. There's always a tiny chance it could unexpectedly skyrocket. Plus, having a wallet full of coins is oddly satisfying, even if most end up worthless! Of course, if the price is still somewhat decent, I'll cut my losses and sell.

If they have fallen to a minimum and there are huge minuses, I try not to sell them; there are frequent cases when they rise and give an excellent profit, even with many minuses covered. In my opinion, there is no point in selling them downstairs and I don’t see any benefit, at least they’ll try to dump them into a hard minus.
some decided to cut losses by selling their dying coins than died completely so they will start digging another one again because they don't wanna stay waiting specially if they have big capital on that.
but for me? since I only invest limited account each not so familiar coins so if there is a dumping happened then i am ready to keep holding and let it sleep in my folio.
Unfortunately, even in my wallet there are several altcoins of low or no value or that can even no longer be moved in these cases there is little that can be done in my opinion it is useless to try to sell them by spending more on fee the only thing to do is leave them there and forget about them
Don't blame those coins mate because it is you who decided to keep them as you seek for more value but wrong , so keep them in
maybe in the coming years there might be whales that use them as pump and dump.

If you join bounty then 90% altcoins you receive, will shitcoin or scam. And what can people do with those shitcoins or i don't know that how to use them cause most of the time, they won't bounce back. So better to sold instantly what most of hunters do. But sometime if you receive altcoins with low volume but you found potentiality in it, then its okey to hold it for better price after that altcoin being developed. That's what i thought about low cap altcoins

Do tokens that people get from bounties listed on exchanges by the time the tokens are distributed? I used to think that most of these tokens are not yet listed and people who get them from bounties will need to wait for a certain period before they can sell their tokens because the project teams would be working on the developments and everything when they are running the bounty campaigns to promote their projects.

You are right though that if one gets a bunch of tokens from a bounty and if that token is listed already, they should sell them immediately if they know the project has got no potential and their tokens might lose value instead of gaining.

As for Altcoins, we don't know what crazy things will happen to them. Consider them currently as meme coins, with low value, but at some point their price can grow greatly. I have participated in many Altcoin signature campaigns, and many of them grew very large when I forgot about them for a long time. Additionally, we are in the early stages of the bullrun cycle, so I think there will be many surprises as well as outstanding growth of Altcoins in the near future. So, you don't have to rush to sell them at this time. If you have more time, research the projects you are participating in to strengthen your confidence to hold it in the long term.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
The possibility of certain Altcoins becoming worthless is not a little, even a lot. Therefore, taking the time to learn more about the project you are participating in is also a way for you to predict its future. There are many factors you can rely on to evaluate, such as what is their roadmap in the near future? Is it feasible given the current market scenario? Evaluate the project team's activity level on social networking platforms such as Telegram, Twitter, Discord to have your own conclusions, because no one can answer better than you find out for yourself.

If it's the verge of having no value at all then just hold it and hope that there might be something good to happen.
Because it makes no sense to sell it at loss but if you think that's still money for you then take that small money and just forget about that altcoin you've been holding.
With my experience, I am in a loss with some specific altcoin and fortunately, it is starting to recover.

The future is filled with uncertainty, coin that doesn't have value today may possibly become value, the reason for campaigns is to increase publicity by  creating more awareness for it existence.

For me I will advice you keep them safe because no one knows what the future might hold for most of those coins, they can possibly advance their features in terms of solving real life problems and application. To avoid had I know i would have kept them save, is better you keep save because you absolutely have nothing to lose  perhaps it was liberally given to you because you are paid in the campaign and at same time having coin of that campaign.

maybe I will hold on to dear life until the time comes, I will consistently hold the coin until the coin rises almost close to the target, but it depends on the coin, what if there is no potential for it to rise, maybe I will cut loss, it all depends on you, you are making a very tough decision. However, you need to remember to do research first before taking any further action
Low market cap project can do wonderfully well in the market if we know how to look for good ones and hold. That is how many of the project we are seeing these days started and we have nothing to argue about. Even Ethereum that is one of the largest cryptocurrency project in the market right now with large market cap started as a low cap project but those that believe in it were able to make good.profits from it because they invested in it when the market cap was very low and affordable to accumulate large sum.

In most of the bull market, a few low cap project outperform all the others and make their position in the top 100 of CMC. Its hard to determine which one is going to be the holy grail so people do diversification to widen their exposure to the market. Still in most cases it would be too late to invest in such a project before they got massive volume. In the last bull run how many people got in sol and luna early when they were worth penny? Not so many so it's the combination of luck and experience to find the right project.
