If by selling it I will only get dust then I won't even try to sell it. It's a waste of investment, it's better to just wait and maybe a miracle could happen and it will somehow save all the money that we spend by purchasing it.
But, if the losses are not that high, like only 20 percent of it is cut then I might sell it if I see more upcoming dumps are in the way.
I mean, it will depend on the altcoin and if it's still showing that it can recover from that dump then I might keep it. Look at XRP, somehow it gained back the trust of its investors after its win against the SEC. Anything can happen in this volatile market especially with Bitcoin ETF coming soon. The optimistic view about cryptocurrencies is high and any coin might be bought with expectation getting higher and investors also optimistic that many altcoins might be dragged by the pump.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Are you referring to the Elon Coin with your signature?

If in the current exchange there is no price value or you will get a little $$$ from this coin then it is better to keep it and leave it in the wallet because it is useless to sell if it is still very low, but if you still hold it there is still a possibility of rising although we never know it will rise or not in a few years.

If the campaign is complete then it gives an impact, if even though there is a campaign there is no impact at all then the only way this coin goes up is because of the hype.

For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.

Most of them are so low that they don't even cover the fees of exchanging so I leave them be. Of the ones having good value, I evaluate their future and if I find the possibility of doing better on long term, I either hold them or sell some of it and keep the rest but if I find it not so probable of going strong for long, I sell them and go for the coins I'm planning to buy. There are rare chances of coins getting listed on popular exchange or even CMC which could boost the price. But you keep them checking in order not to miss the price bump.

As one of the bounty hunters before, this is really the thing that happens after the release of rewards, drops are very fatal and if we can't sell our tokens fast, you'll be selling for almost no value. That is the reason why I'd never have the guts to hold them waiting for hype unless I have no chance of selling them because no matter how long we've been waiting that seems hopeless to see their price increasing.

In fact, there are a few tokens left on my ETH wallet with and $0 value, we can do nothing with them other than hoping for a miracle.
So OP, better sells them while they still have value, it can be soon to die.

I used to join many altcoins bounty campaigns, not just signature, twitter, article, video, .etc. And yes, most of the coin has no value at all, some of them aren't even listed in any exchanges, or if they are listed they have no liquidity, that's why I stopped participating on their campaign. You really can't do nothing with those coins.

Altcoins Bounty Campaigns is for people who have very much spare time, you will need to invest much of your time to do research wether the project you are campaigning is legit and good, don't just join any campaign you found, or you will end-up just wasting your time.

"What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value" - Are there any adequate options? If you sell altcoin at a low price, then this is a fixation of losses. If you continue to hold this, then eventually altcoin will depreciate to zero. The situation looks stalemate: no matter what you do, the result will still be bad.

For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?
Watching past signature campaigns tells me to sell altcoin as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will be too late to get anything from it.

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.
The longer you hold, the less value will remain. Only a few projects will be in demand and worthwhile.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
There is a 99% chance that the first scenario will happen and only 1% (or even less) that the second will happen. I think it's much less than 1%.

what will you gain when there is just a peanut available in value? better to just risk it forever in time  so if ever there is a chance it grows high then you win , actually this is like gambling that we need to put our trust in the future.
many of those project are just scams and will never have potential but some are a good project but it just happened that they did not gain enough investors to continue so meaning in time that they gathered support ? for sure it will boomed and you will be shocked to how much it may brings you.
just let it there mate and besides you have no better option but to hold right? because if you truly consider selling then you will not need to ask us here now.

I let it rot in my wallet till the day it suddenly increased in price. Only then will it see the light of day, otherwise it's just bits of data in my wallet fated to stay in place for eternity. I just hope it gains value since there's no cost in hoping, and if it doesn't no loss for me really since I already had the coin, idrk what else you can do with that.

But well I wouldn't keep it in my wallet in the first place if it initially had value when I received it. Even a few $ would be more than enough for me to sell it since it's a shtcoin most likely anyway. Now if the coin was released and it was valued at 0, only then will it rot in my wallet till it goes up (and till I realize it actually went up in price).

It depends. If i can't trade because tx is more then gains, what other possibility there is then to hold it? Then again, in the past i didn't sell this one altcoin reward i had in the past because i totally forgot i even got it. Then i was looking at the charts year later and saw familiar name trending in twitter and in charts. I didn't immediately even realize i had the altcoin and it had mooned. So lucky me not checking my altcoin wallets often.

Since you are probably asking this for eloncoin, why would anyone ever though that would rise in value?

Some coins from signature campaign sold if coin have list on market after distributing, but many coins have to hold after receiving from signature campaign because still not list yet on the exchange. I have been longer time not participating in signature altcoin campaign and not update yet are there any worth of coins or when distributing still not list on the market.
Usually last three years ago many signature altcoin campaign distribution after bounty ended without one week and coins already list on the market,
almost all participants in signature altcoin campaign sold their coins and less of them hold it because when distribution begin some altcoin get lower price drastically although get recovery few weeks later after all participants of signature altcoin campaign sold their coins.

I think those that have a lot of altcoins that they've earned from campaigns and bounties, if it has a value that they can sell it quickly, they'd definitely do it without any doubt. But if it's seen that there's no value at all, they don't anything with it but just keep on holding it until they see that there's a growth or a value. They're lucky to see it having $50 - $100 and even luckier if it's going to be more than that. That's why if there's a value and liquidity on exchanges with those tokens or altcoins, they're all quicker than anyone else to dump it.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
Most of them are becoming valueless because the developers understand how it works. That's why they are giving like a threshold on how long they're going to hold or lock the tokens from the bounties that are distributed and they're allowing first the devs and main investors to do the liquidity for them. They're releasing it first with those people and they give priority to them because they should be the one to make money not the bounty hunters. And what's next is the little amounts and market liqudity is left to the receivers of the rewards from the bounty.

I have never participated in an altcoin signature campaign. I wouldn't know how those coin perform in the long term. If I had the chance of selling them in the first instance then I would. If not then hold them depending the performance of the cryptocurrency and how development is going on.

It depends on the project. If that project is a few years old and they are still working with their old ideas or concepts and are not ready to adapt to new market changes or don't want to follow the trend then the logical action should be to sell off and invest in another project that is working with new narratives. There is no point in holding some old staff by expecting them to grow exponentially in the future. If they failed to grow all these time then they are not getting any magic box that will help them to perform better than before.

I don't waste my time waiting for another year, I sell them instead and invest in other coins. That is a smart thing we do for sure.

Investing is not all about holding, we also need to decide which one to keep and which one to sell for another gaining opportunity. That is why and many times I have to say that choosing coins matters a lot when investing because the results depend on it. Failure to choose profitable coins will end up wasting time or losses. Already a lot of coins have been delisted in most exchanges and more are coming...so we need to act before it happens.

Unfortunately, the majority of alts are dead on delivery. And sometimes it's better to just sell them at current levels while they have any price

Honestly no one can determine an altcoin’s future only thing we can do is try to predict and make sense of how it is going to perform later on

Like you said there is really nothing you can do with it because it has very low value as of now so it is better in my opinion to just hold it you have nothing else better to do with it otherwise some people even get lucky and their coins that they got from airdrops and such gets value over time so just hold it

Depends? Do you actually think the token makes at least a bit of sense in terms of use-case for it to bounce back in the future? Or is it a total utter shitcoin that has near-zero chance of gaining any traction at all? Only you can answer that.

Since this coins have no value now it is expected to hodl them to see if later they can improve in the market,  because this is the only thing that can be done. It is the future that will determine what value a coin will possess,  it is only by hodling that we can see what these coins can show in the market. A coin with no value,  it won't make sense to sell out because their won't be any gain for selling,  it is better to just hodl it if the price will increase better in the market.
