For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?
(....)
In my own opinion, if you are getting these altcoins, just sell them immediately, like after you got them, because of altcoins that came from this will just go to dump, the best example was the 2017-2018 alt season.
Another thing let's say I have some altcoins bought and losing some value, sometimes what I am doing is cutting losses, I will sell it then I will buy other altcoins that has potential.

I will sometime check the market to see how the alt coin is actually doing. If I see a decent profit by selling it, I will surely take it. If not then there's no harm to hold it. Currently, I am in Elon coin signature camping and they are giving me some tokens every week as a bonus for my work. I didn't even check the wallet to see if the transactions have really made it through. But one day I will check it for sure. If I see potential profit from my holdings, maybe I will sell or keep them for later.

Not just only with signature payment, with any other coins out there, it is good to keep an eye on them. You never know when it will pump given the fact that it is low value. But when it do, I will make sure to take my share of profit for sure.

Holding won't be the best option if that altcoin has become irrelevant to the current market conditions or the development team moves to another project. In the altcoin industry a project with no development is considered a dead project. An altcoin needs to be active on their social media and they need to be transparent about their development. This will get user attention and their will be price appreciation as well. So it will be better to sell off a dead project no matter what the value is.

Holding a dead project makes no sense at all. A dead project can hardly see the light of the space anymore. Just like you have said, it advisable to sell it off and get some new ones with a nice developing team. No one knows, you may later re-gain your lose from those new ones.

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
We can not predict when an altcoin will be bullish. But usually among the new altcoins that come to the market, there are some altcoins that are listed on good exchanges, those coins increase in price and there are many coins that become worthless. But for a new signature promoter I think rather than holding all those tokens one can buy some altcoins at top level. Because even if the price of those coins goes down, it will recover again. But there are some new tokens which will not be survive. So I think it is better not to hold all the altcoins hoping to get more money.

I only participated in altcoin signature campaign that I think would thrive in the nearest future after a thorough research therefore after distribution I hodl the coin on my wallet for a possible pump in it price later, I had some experience of not hodling an altcoin after distribution and listing it price was very low initially, however after some couple of weeks later it price pumped to 5x that was experience painful after selling all my own coins at a low price, I think the best bet is to patiently hodl on to your coin for a possible pump later " the patience dog eats the fattest bone" that means it worth hodling it for long term especially with upcoming halving of Bitcoin later this year.

If it were to be a matter of choice of one's money, I would have advised you to diversify it by buying many coins to spread the risk of not performing as expected. But as it is now, this is a campaign, you do not have any choice but to wait provided you have the belief in such a token. But if you do not have belief in that project and you can liquidate it at any time you like, you better do that in order for you to buy another coin/token of your choice with better prospects and assurance.

With the way I see your campaign, I believe that the token given you is an added advantage in case it later performs. If you can't sell it, you better continue to hold it. Who knows if one day it will later rise? But never put your mind in it that you have an asset if you can't sell it for now.

Whether it is altcoins signature, bounty, giveaway or airdrop I think selling any coins in low price is not profitable and holding will probably worth one days. If you remember Doge token was givens as a tips/giveaways three years back. No body know that time that price will spikes to 0.5$ one day and then world watched how it pumped so many times in short times. Most of users sold in low price and fews hold but only long term holders got benefited.

Whether coins will become valuable after compaign or not,its depends upon the projects realness, roadmap, partnerships and many other factors but the importance thing is hold till the right time to sell. Most of project will be failed but if you hold all  I hope some projects will gives spikes 10x

If the project does not have further developed, it is possible that after the campaign ends, the price of the coins will decrease and even become worthless.  Don't expect at all that when the Altcoin you have obtained is already in your storage wallet it will experience an increase in the future, especially if the related project is really bad, just leave it as a trash coin collection

For those chasing bounties or airdrops this is definitely a problem and there is no perfect solution, if you sell your coins now you may not get much from them, but at least you can get something, however if you wait hoping for the best, the coins you have could be worth nothing in just a few months, but as unlikely as it could be, you may have gotten the right coin and it could skyrocket, allowing you to sell those coins for a price much higher than what you may have gotten if you decided to sell those coins immediately, so take a decision about what to do based on your needs and how much you expect to get out of those coins.

I still have some dust amounts of tokens left in my wallets from when I was doing some yield farming several years ago. Sometimes to boost the APR in their liquidity pools DEXs will incentivize you with extra rewards paid out in their native token. If you don't want to wait long enough to accumulate enough tokens to be able to swap them for something more valuable you will be left with tiny amounts in your wallet once you remove your liquidity. I am just waiting for the moment these tokens see a really large pump to cash out on them but in the meantime I will just leave them sitting in my wallet to collect dust.

I've also joined signature campaigns that pay altcoins in the past.

What I'm doing when I'm still joining those signature campaigns is that, when it gets listed on any exchange, I will create an account on that since they will announce where they will list that token a few days before the actual listing, deposit the tokens there then sell immediately. No need to hold those tokens because in the end, the price of the token will plummet because of bounty hunters (like me at that time) who would rather hold coins like Bitcoin or even Tether than just a random altcoin that's new. I got one token that I got in the signature campaign and decided to hold it for years just for the experiment. I might be lucky because that coin that I held went up x10 and I sold it immediately as soon as I saw its price.

Anyway, to answer your questions, most of the time I don't hold those tokens because I believe that the price of it will plummet in the future. If it goes up in price then lucky for those who choose to hold. As for the coin becoming valueless, most of the project's tokens end up like that. Tokens becoming worthless because people are selling them, lack of community behind them until they will just become abandoned, or dead coins that's why I don't recommend holding these kinds of tokens. I'm not saying that all projects end up like that though because there are still some projects who launched a signature campaign here, and ended up as a successful one, and still developing until now.

I thought as much too. But what happens is that since these coins can not be traded it should be left in the wallet probably waitting for it pump. And if it didn't pump it should be considered a doomed project.

Just continue holding it even though I lost a lot. Much better to hold it for now than to sell it today. Like I have 50k WIN and and the value of WIN is unreal. I'd rather to wait even it reach 10 years. Maybe 1 day it will have a value of $1. It's just you need a lot of patience, maybe one day.

Reward: 10M Shen (Approx. 5000 BNB) Bounty
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?
It's only few them that actually worth something, most of the altcoin campaigns are just garbage and they don't even care  to pay their bounty participants. Even if they manage to pay the hunters, the price will be absolutely dumped to the ground and the low value price coin will be always stay there because of that reason and it's been like that for almost 7 years after bounty campaign was really at a good spot in 2017.

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.
Yea, what are you going to do anyway? You can't do anything with that coins, you just let it sit there.

The latter is possible, but don't hope anything from it. It's absolutely rare.

As you can see I m working with Eloncoin and I have been paid by them. The first device I was using got lost my so I changed device and downloaded my apps back and the seed phrase I wrote down from Eloncoin wallet is not working again when I am inputting the seed. So I lost those my first set of coins from Eloncoin and the second wallet which I am using is a desktop wallet but I have not seen the coins in the balance. I tried to refresh it but it is not showing yet. So I have not really utilize the coin very well.

Normally I was planning to hodle them until the coin has value in the future but since I don't have access again. There is no hope.
wow!
And I had plans of changing the phone I logged my wallet into and get a new one, I don't know if this would also affect my previous holding.

Well, I will keep holding it and ensure that my seed phrase is intact but this case you just highlighted is something to be worried about because we can't tell what can happen to our gadget in the long run and if we can't recover out coin after we change out gadget or misplace it like your case, then it wouldn't be a good one to be really honest.
I get my seed phrase but e no dey work. Please how many numbers do you have in your seed phrase? Because when I counted my own I discovered that I got almost 18 words instead of 12 so I am thinking that I did the mistake but if I did how come I wrote the 18 out of 12. Well that is by the way, you have to keep your seed phrase in a safe place so that even if you change your device you can retrieve it back easily.

And if I will advise you, before you change your device make sure you login the wallet in another device first and see your coins before logout from the old device. My was, I was having the confidence that I could login to another but unknown to me that I would lost everything like that. Stay Safe over there. Eloncoin is one of the best.

People make profit through altcoins investment or altcoins holding, because I know quite well that altcoins investment is something that I know that when you invest in a new projects altcoins and probably the coin or the project increase to the extent of reaching 10x in value, so what I'm trying to let us understand is that holding a valuable altcoins will profit us in future and it will make us to have a passion in cryptocurrency, but for altcoins holding, we should be careful holding our altcoins due to some of the altcoins doesn't have potential and if we insist holding an altcoins that is valueless it will really affect us because its increase and profit will be hard to get achieved

Or simply talking about those coins which you do get from bounties? Yes, this is one of the main risks when joining up these things on which there would really be no assurance that you could really be able to make yourself having those worthy coins to be worthy of the time that you had spent on promoting that project. This is why i have quit up on doing bounties because of that kind of possibilities or situation on which
its never been worth of my time on spending up but ended up on getting shit tokens in the end of the duration of the said bounty campaign. So if you do see that it does have low value then of course
you would really be having no choice but to hold those coins and hoping that they would really be making out some pumps. Most likely people would be selling out immeidately
on the time that they would get a hold of their coins.

Some might pump and some might not. It would really be just that depending on the project that you are dealing with. If you are someone who is really that able to get those coins
which the project behind is something that have potential then you might be able to get some considerable or significant amounts that you could be able to have
but these are indeed rare cases.

You have to do Press Releases and Things. So, Elon Coin is the Coin we are Talking about from what I can see. And what it needs is something like the Support of Tesla, or Mark Cuban to decide to Buy in, those kinds of Things, there is no Reason for it to just go up in Value. The Best way to do it without having to get that kind of National and International Attention like that is for all of the Elon Coin users to make a Facebook Account and Add 5,000 Friends Each, Even Better if they know most of those People. Make a Twitter Account and make sure you put like 20 Posts up, then Follow 5,000 People and Try to get 5,000 Twitter Followers.

If Elon Coin had 10 Holders that had 5,000 People Paying Attention Everyday, it could go somewhere. Really, the Best way to get Yourself set up, is Simply just go to the Market Everyday, Take a Picture of the Market, the Line Graph, just Everyday, go Take a Picture of the Line Graph, and Post it in a Facebook Group, and on a HIVE Blog. And Eventually, you are "The Elon Coin Price Guy" and you Helped Everyone Learn that it was affordable and that they wanted to come in and Buy it until the Price went up.

Holding them for many years but never seeing any price increase, I certainly decided to throw them away rather than hoping for nothing. Because the more we hold them, the more we become disappointed and it is the best thing to do is to sell them and use the money for another investment. Diversification is very common in the crypto market, in fact, why just hold if we have the chance to sell them for a better opportunity? That is much more if we are investing hyped project because as the days pass by the more it drops and a less chances to see it growing back, it is a loss investment per se.
