Or are you just carried away by a hype and holding on to a worthless coin which will never amount to anything good on the long run, this are what make ls up for our mindsets when discussing this subject of altcoins holdings since the majority of them are just hypes and pumped, dumped coins that are now worthless and have no chances of recovering.

So first ask yourself which coineare you holdinyand what are the values of those coins, because it in holding the right coins, that you get the right gains on the long run, this is what many altcoins holders dont understand.

There is no need to hodle a token or a coin that has no value in the market but whereby the coin has a low value at the moment but it looks like it will have good value in the future then it is good to continue hodle the coin. Altcoins holdings is good but the fear is that  we have seen a lot of tokens and altcoins collapsed along the line and some of them have even stayed a long time in the industry but could not survive. So long staying and short staying in the altcoins market is nothing but a legit or a good trusted altcoins are worth investing for.

Observe well before investing in altcoins. "Not all that glitters is gold". Some are imitation and imitations never last in the market because it is not the original.

For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
The truth is, are this coins of any value and have you understand the market dynamics of the coins and how best to stay in profits.

I have plenty in my wallet specially Erc-20 wallet that still sits now without even any good value
but since I have them for years now I have no plans in disposing them at least not until they have literal value on it.

There is one time that I forgot to have a alert in my coins on hold and yeah I am stupid enough
ot to have them sold when there is  a good value on it and now I regret all those chances so keeping them here is
what i wanted to do now.

If they have fallen to a minimum and there are huge minuses, I try not to sell them; there are frequent cases when they rise and give an excellent profit, even with many minuses covered. In my opinion, there is no point in selling them downstairs and I don’t see any benefit, at least they’ll try to dump them into a hard minus.

If the altcoin I have has a lower price and has a low price, I still hold my coin. if the altcoin has a good marketcap, I will accumulate aka buy coins with the DCA system. and I still hold it while I stake, for example, a stake in binance.

i was participated in many altcoins signature and still now i'm promoting a project which will pay in altcoins. and i will never hold if i received coins after campaign finished.
because no guarantee these will survive long time on the market, most of the time these will be dead if will not listed good exchange.

Mate, you are talking about what if the coin will survive or not but first of all looking at the current market and trend it's not even guaranteed that whether the coin will even make it to the exchange or not  because most of the bounty related altcoins don't even make it to exchange and also some of them have strict rules like they will distribute the bounty rewards in part and by the time you get it the devs would have already dumped. I have lost hope on bounties though I join them what if one coin can make you rich. I had food experience in the past.

My advice to everyone is that if you invest in any altcoin then see the price if you receive a good profit then sell in this time otherwise if you wait for a long term then it's a very risk because many altcoin project are not going long.

This is true because if you keep your altcoins longer then there is a chance that altcoins will drop from its value so don't hold it too long. Keeping your profit in mind will help you to decide well because if you have greater profit then more waiting for more profit will not be good idea as it become risky.

Most of the people cannot differ between long and short term so they keep longer each type of coin which become risky for them so try to take benefit from altcoin on time otherwise you will regret by keeping less value coin for whole life.

if the coin is worth enough, I will trade it, and if not, then I will leave it in my wallet, even if the coin becomes worthless. Sometimes, we can't expect something that has basically failed. So, when we have the opportunity to exchange it, then exchange it immediately, and if you expect it to rise, then you just have to hold it at the risk of the coin becoming worthless. However, I think the exchange value is also small, so like it or not we have to forget about the coin by selling or leaving it, and looking for another project with more potential.

If the value of a crypto is already low, I think it is difficult to take a risk with this type of cryptocurrency in the field of this industry. Maybe if it's just a low-cap but its value and trading volume are moderate, I can say that I'm willing to take a risk on that.
If the coins received for altcoin signature campaigns cost mere pennies, then continuing to hold them with the hope of future growth is actually not a risk. Firstly, you didn't buy them for real money, but received them for your activity on the forum, which you would have shown anyway. In a way, it's like a nice bonus. Secondly, what could be worse is that these coins are valued at little more than hundredths or thousandths of a dollar / penny. Even if these altcoins depreciate to zero, it will only make your current situation a little worse. But if you continue to store it, then there will be a chance to earn something extra.

But never at a low value. Although we know that it is still difficult to determine what can happen to a cryptocurrency in the market in reality, because I see something that has a low value and then after a year has passed, it suddenly increases in value in the market. So, it just depends on how you take the risk with that kind of thing.
There is a 99.9% chance that this trash will not increase in price. These are the trends among altcoins, but I would prefer to hold because selling now, for example, will make a couple of bucks if you're lucky. Whereas storage can already turn (if you are very lucky) these trash coins into a hundred or two dollars.

There is no need trying to sell what is valueless. Any altcoin or shitcoin that is less than $5 has no potential to be sold because even in Cex it below the minimum selling order. If need be for it to be sold I think it should be when its above $5 or you can wait for it to pump and you maybe lucky then to cashout big time.

We can make father profits from low valued crypto projects because they are not too know and there caps low and could suppass most of the altcoin projects that had been in the market. The major thing we can do with our altcoins holdings is to keep holding waiting for the privmce of the altcoins to increase. We can also stake it and earn APY from the tokens especially when we are holding it in exchange.

I will see first whether the altcoin project is still running and has the potential to be listed on more exchanges or not. If the answer is no then as long as the altcoin has a decent selling price then I will sell it. but if it still has the potential to increase because the roadmap is still ongoing then I will hold it until it is actually listed on Dex or Cex.

The point is it depends on the altcoin that we hold itself. Whether it has clear goals and projects or not.

Exactly! The goal of the developer for that certain project is very important,  if they are doing their best to continue the progress and you are really seeing that chances for that specific coin to earn supports is still possible,  and with that information, holding is the best thing to do, but if you don't see any progress and after the release the team behind is no where to be found,  it's better to liquidate  your assets since the chance of that coin to die naturally is the next to take place.

More on how you do your homework after participating and that trust with the team who created the project.

For the decision of if to sell or not should come from you and no one else. We are bound to face the consequences of our own actions and same way it is when dealing with Altcoins. Altcoins are very much unpredictable if to pump or die along with the hypes.

If you raise the topic due to the current signature you are then it will be a good idea to hold since the price is very low and absolutely nothing with come out from selling them. The Eloncoin also has it's potential and I believe it can aswell do better with time.

Participating in campaigns does not guarantee that the rewarded cryptocurrency will have value after the campaign, unless the coin/token is already listed on an exchange before the campaign. This is still dependent on people choosing to invest in it. We've joined bounty campaigns where the token/coin has low or no value. I think there's nothing we can do but let them sit in our wallets. However, sometimes you check them, hoping for a miracle that they might suddenly gain value.
But if after the end of the bounty and before that token enters the exchange, the hunters can get good money if the token distribution process of the hunters ends. But most projects now try to cheat and refuse to issue tokens. However, bounty hunters can only expect that they will get tokens even for a long period, due to which hunters are still working from bounty.

Since this coins have no value now it is expected to hodl them to see if later they can improve in the market,  because this is the only thing that can be done. It is the future that will determine what value a coin will possess,  it is only by hodling that we can see what these coins can show in the market. A coin with no value,  it won't make sense to sell out because their won't be any gain for selling,  it is better to just hodl it if the price will increase better in the market.

What is down fears no fall so if you're holding a coin and it dips very low, then the logical thing to do is to keep holding it until hopefully it starts to gradually pick up and pump, because even if you decide to sale at that point, the value of money that you'd have will be equally worthless. Unless you do your research and decide that there's no redemption for the altcoin, then it'll be wise to dispose it. Any project that is not a scam has the potential of pumping with time, if the project team brings some innovations to it then the investors are in for some long term profits.

If I were to say about altcoins, I would say that altcoins are coins that if there is a hold  a coin and the value is still very low and you know the project are rise in future  And it's going to develop in the future, so you should hold on to it and if you're looking at it, its team, its roadmap, its white paper, it's very good and it's very good in the future. If the market brings it, then you put it on hold, of course you will benefit a lot in the future, but if there is a project that he has stopped working on, then his team is not working on their project at all and it is a stopped project. You should sell it at its current price because it will be completely gone in the near future.
