The most important thing I expect from the crypto market next year is that the cryptocurrency will receive support from governments and that steps will be taken to regulate the crypto market. My opinion is that this will allow new investors to come to the market, which means there will be a new increase in prices on the exchange.
I just started my journey in cryptocurrency world and I wait for the first bounty rewards. I believe that market will be able to become great in the nearest future.
Catalyst is demand. Now demand is low that is the reason for market to be so unstable. When demand will increase, then market will recover.

I was waiting a crash seriously, just take a look around you there's a gold mine. I suggest LITECOIN, both BTC and LTC are good but I think Lite's got more room to grow and I don't see BTC crossing a great record. There are other coins too that can do well, each one of the following coins have a decent future. Take a look at these:STRATIS, POWR, PRG, EOS and QTUM. I’m bullish about PRG, they are launching their co working space in July and I'm sure that's gonna uplift the value.
We are waiting for the technology to begin to apply in all directions and they will be in our daily life. I think in this case, cryptocurrencies will grow thousands of times. Just many do not understand the full value of this technology.
This year has seen a massive bear market which started early in the year when some couple of bad news made the market to FUD and since then the market keeps falling. I think what we need now is a couple of good news, then the market will increase again.

If i may say, we are waiting for the right time and the right news. Only a big good news i believe can make the price of bitcoin and altcoins to surge, such as a bad one can make it fall. 
Actually we are waiting to increase the price of the altcoins in the market.

To be honest with me, no matter what should happen, the main thing is that my investments bring me a profit. And from this will already be theirs all the rest. The question is really interesting! What are we waiting for? Increasing the popularity of bitcoin and the cryptocurrency world in general. We are waiting for the development of blockchain technologies.
Of course, we expect prices to rise. As cryptocurrencies are volatile, we expect more people to invest in cryptocurrencies and then our savings will go up. And everyone is waiting for the bull this year, but not the fact that this year it will be.
