My favorite right now, I can say that Ethereum is the best, it's show a lot of potentials to grow and become the greatest coin following the Bitcoin. Very interesting and proven that it will last in the future, it's community and supporters shows its strength.
My favorite Altcoin is the altcoin at the top # 100 on coinmarketcap. The altcoin that I believe it will grow fast in the future!
I like the smart stuff, because I like crypto currency that has a smart contract on the front like, NEO. because Neo is a platform similar to Eth, but more broadly, but with different smart gas contracting systems, consensus mechanisms (PoS vs dBfT), governance models, fixed vs fixed supply, expensive contracts vs. virtually free contracts, different for real-world adoption
