First of all, I think it must look like a realistic project. It should be useful, and have a  realistic concept.  Another thing which is very important is the team behind the project.

It's best to have a partner or advisor who is a well-known crypto figure. Or be groups like bountyhive, krypital support Lips sealed Lips sealed Lips sealed

Off course when a new coin is very new in the market there will be plenty of interest in it so look at the charts when they started it went sky rocket but like 2 months or so it went stable in low.

I also notice it and there are some coin that dump too much as in too much then you are willing to sell it.   If you are a good trader then buy a new coin then sell it when you get a profit then buy a new coin again then do it.  It is the strategy of some trader because they also notice that kind of market on some new coin.

i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

Looks like choosing the new Altcoin can be done by looking at the data at the time of Ico.
Because of the likelihood that if their Ico is successful, they will have enough funds to do the development in accordance with the planned roadmap.

before planning on investing, I do a lot of research about the coin in question. First thing is searching up the developers and CEO on LinkedIn or other social medias and confirming that they're the actual people behind the project. Then comes the part where I go through the whitepaper and set a potential gauge for the coin depending upon which the size of my investment lies. Depending upon the uniqueness of the project, if at all there are similar projects, I always go through all of them to be completely sure which one is the best.
These are just some basic factors I believe everyone should go through and research before 'trusting' any altcoin in the market.

The qualifications I look for on a new altcoin is I always check the project if it is worth it. Like checking if the team is active and the founders as well, and make sure to follow their social media accounts they have and the telegram group to know if the project is working too.
You can´t choose ICO/ altcoins based on this. I see many active altcoins on social media like Dogecoin - they are active but their coin is useless.

1) is it something new and exciting with scope for improvement and development

2) what competitors does it have and does it have the team to be able to deliver what is needed.

3) I don’t want to see an infinite supply or a team holding on to too much premine, I personally prefer premine a bit they need to get the balance right with how they use it. Just calling it treasury doesn’t cut it for me.

4) if you are doing an Ico then if it’s easy to get in then don’t bother, the ones where you have to network to join are the ones that should get you interested.

5) if you were a billionaire then would you buy the whole circulating supply? This is a question I used to ask when stock picking and although they are completely different it’s a good question to consider

for myself I trust the new Altcoin because now a lot of new and good Altcoin fit their project.
Altcoin not good. Those projects doesn't have strong foundation and probably they came from another project that they recently abandoned. This is what's on my mind that after some success ICO and the crowd sale reached their soft cap. Actually one of my friend he was using bitcoin and I thought that he is just wasting the time so I fell that he is going to change the life style because first he buy a new car and then after some time he start trading

The reason why some new alternative coins should be trusted is due to its history and background, developer team, roadmaps, its capabilities and other matters. Well, to be honest, some altcoin is too hard to trust. I don’t need to trust a new altcoin because I have bitcoin in my wallet and all I have to do is to make right decisions on bitcoin and I will make more money than anyone else

This is how experts choose coin for investments. You really need time to check the real colors of the coin before making any significant investment into that coin. Moreover not all altcoins are worthy enough for investments. Experience is important for perfection, and we can get the experience if we will do exercise. We need to do trading altcoin by choosing cheap  coin which have good potential to increase their price

In trusting an altcoin, you must knew the coin credibility, if that specific coin will be profitable in the near future.

I do not believe and trust new altcoin, It takes a long time to earn profit. I bought an altcoin and it takes a year before its price increase and its not good for investment for me.

I am looking always at their goals. If I read them and it makes me to believe, that they are achieveable, and the team really are passionate about them, I think I would go for this coin.

I trust an altcoin if I see that they have put a lot of effort to make the project be a successfull one and fully transparecy. In addition, I think it is essential that they have released some of the important parts of the coin (and thereby have shown that they are able to develop a coin). Support of some prominent figures in the crypto world is a big pre.

I trust an altcoin if it has the quality that I am looking for like great functionality, good team, good track record etc. I do some research on the new altcoin, read their whitepapers if what they are claiming is realistic and analyze the future value of altcoin or if the answer to the question "Will this coin have a good niche?" then I probably invest to that altcoin if I have the funds

Much depends on the idea of the project, if I like the idea of the project, it means everything will be wonderful for the project, the main thing is that the development team is not lazy, because all promises can remain only words and this is how we understand very badly for the project.

That's an interesting question. I usually lack the competence to understand how good this project is. Then I will listen to opinion leaders. If many people follow them, the price will increase.

The first and most important thing to trust any new altcoin is the project of that altcoin and the developer team as if a developer is active and do regular work on his project, then we can invest in that altcoin. If project is strong then it can sustain in the market and give positive returns in long run.
