Their exit-scam was long overdue, as said multiple times in the past - can happen in the FIAT space as well but not as easily as in the crypto space, or else, nobody would have actually considered "trusting" people like the ones running Betnomi after everything they have done wrong.
I'm still hoping for the best...I'll wait a couple more weeks and then I'll take action.
I was also trying to wait it out and see if they showed up with an explanation but I'm a little aggravated that i'm getting emails from the cryptobonus site and a few other weird emails have started showing up as well. I do not appreciate them selling my information if that is in fact the case. I've left a neutral for now, but may upgrade to a neg soon.

Hope you get paid what's owed.

Betnomi is a scam and anyone who is willing to trade their balances for bonuses are signing up for never having the chance to get their funds back.

What do you expect? That you will win and be able to withdraw? TrustDice came here and said that expenses are too high and so casinos are going bust. Why would you trust a casino to pay your balance after winning following a bonus, if they can't even pay your balance?

It's time to boycott these shady entities and remove them from the ecosystem. Too many people are being scammed now and for some reason these casinos can continue operations despite tens/hundreds of cases of malpractice.

Do not encourage or enthuse bonuses for balances, or else you enabling an entirely new form of casino fraud and scam!

Anyone seriously encouraging it is a part of the casino and contributing to the fraud.

TrustDice representative here. I would like to reiterate that we are sorry to see what's happening here to a fellow casino/sportsbook and its customers. These unfortunate incidents not only affect Betnomi themselves but might also erode trust in the entire crypto iGaming sector, which could have repercussions for all crypto casinos & sportsbooks including ourselves.

This industry is becoming increasingly cut-throat for a variety of reasons. Fees being charged on operators have become more expensive than before. In the meanwhile, scams, abuses, and wallet theft attempts are getting a lot more prevalent. As a result, a minor mistake or oversight, one that may go unnoticed in day-to-day operations and won’t appear significant before, can now lead to devastating consequences. Our hearts go out to Betnomi and also to the players who are experiencing difficulties accessing their funds there.

To safeguard people's trust in the entire industry, I feel there is something we can do as a somewhat established crypto casino & sportsbook. I know there gonna be cynical comments when I say this, especially from those who don't have their money locked in Betnomi. However, we still would like to seek feedback from those who are actually affected by this unfortunate event:
Do you guys think it would be nice for us to offer free bonuses to the players who have their money locked in Betnomi? I can discuss this possibility with the team if the community welcome such an idea, as I feel it could provide some relief during this challenging time.

We'd love to hear what victims of this incident think of this idea. If it is positive in general, I will discuss how to implement it with the team.

The link they sent via email could also be their new platform. You better watch this website first.
You better read carefully what I said before writing stuff like this!
I never authorized anyone to share my email address for any new shady gambling websites or spam emails, it was unique email created only for betnomi
. I don't know if you got me wrong. I know that the email you used was exclusively for betnomi. So, there is no way to receive an email from other platforms except for betnomi. That's why I doubt the promotional email you received could be from Betnomi's new website.

Manager Icopress said today that he was not paid by them, so their old reputation means nothing now.
So, it's confirmed that they rug-pulled. Now we have to wait for some scam accusations to arise. Is it right decision to create a flag against betnomi because they are not supposed to share your personal data anywhere. Eitheir they sold their database or they used it for their new website.

I have 20 000$ stuck in Betnomi.
I highly doubt it.
The only reason for us to believe this claim is only if there is some evidence to show that indeed the ops have some funds on Betnomi because as to stance, the user is making a baseless claim, and since Betnomi has failed to make any public statement on the condition of thing with the casino it has open the room for many fake claims such as this one, and I am sure in the coming days we may be seeing many of such comments.

Why would your first assumption be that they were hacked - first thought: They are trying to make some $$$ by taking advantage of their user database...
Who are the "They" you mean?
Betnomi or CryptoBonuses.

when trying to access the site. And I deposited $250 on the platform just before that(I got sponsored for playing in poker tournaments recently). I hope everything will be alright soon, because I want to play poker on this amazing platform. Smiley
All you can do is hope for the best. I remember only two days before Chipmixer disappeared I mixed some coin and I was lucky to be able the get the coin back. If I was a day or two late then I could lose a larger amount of bitcoin. You never know what can happen with a centralized service anytime.
Yes you never know and sometimes they are honest and make their best to avoid to completely scam their (past) customers. For example Hotbit had a rather bad reputation but when they closed they gave several weeks to their users to withdrawal their remaining funds and they even extended the deadline at the end. So Betwrong could maybe get lucky and get back his funds.

I really hope that things will be better for Betnomi in the nearest future than a situation when they, as honest people, will just allow users to withdraw their funds.

I hope they will be back soon with even more nice features. As for their poker platform, we all know how great it is. Online poker players would miss it big time if it wasn't there any more.
Things are not looking good now, considering the email are sending by some other business.

I saw many before they closed; I made one of them. The writing was on the wall but people chose not to listen. And in part, because this forum doesn't give a fuck. Mods ignore messages, the trust system is manipulated, flags are opposed and people like icopress are paid emissaries for sites with no culpability when it goes wrong. Nothing personal, I know they are not the only ones. I wouldn't play at any of the books on here again with your money, let alone mine.
Don't expect anything official from Bitcointalk. If you don't know, the forum does not moderate scam.

I received a response from Sorsis last week, but I haven't been paid yet.
That's bad my man. Let's hope the response from Sorsis is genuine.

As far as I know at the moment the Betnomi owe money to me and another user (I also shared this information with the mentioned user). To be honest, I'm a little tired of these expectations and decided to change the signature today.

This industry is becoming increasingly cut-throat for a variety of reasons. Fees being charged on operators have become more expensive than before.
I received spam email from someone called CryptoBonuses and it was redirecting to website Crashout, that all looks a lot like scam.
Maybe Betnomi data was hacked or something else happened, but this is first time I heard about this websites.

Don’t worry about this since Bitcointalk forum gamblers known risk like this since we witness a lot of scam from casino that once very active here. Actually, this is not limited only on igaming industry but literally on all the crypto sectors like exchanges and defi.

It's nice to see a fellow operator representative showing care to all the potential victims here and giving insight on the issue.

This really worries me the most. Betnomi gave me quite the run-around trying to verify my account on multiple fronts. So they have essentially every type of personal identification of mine, banking information, etc. So if they were compromised then my personal identity and many others may also be.
We don't know what happened. I don't think it was hacked. It seems either betnomi sold their database or they have created another website. All are based on assumption. Nothing confirmed yet.

Well, this is serious... Who knows how many people left their documents on Betnomi?

Nothing is confirmed, and I don't see anyone complaining about money left there (I checked around)... My balance was $2. This is a very strange situation, I am not sure what to think anymore. Definitely, Betnomi is offline for too long and all this smells fishy, but again where are some big complaints, and scam accusations? With my $2 there and without KYC I dodge a bullet, and I played on Betnomi just because we had poker games there...

Good thing that I haven't played on this platform as far as I can remember. But if they have been hacked as speculated, then losing their money and then the customers data, then it's a double whammy for us.

Hopefully, they can come back and clear the space for us. I mean they have been slowly getting into the community and establishing themselves. So the sudden offline is really very sad to see and at the same time there are have speculations as to what really happen to them.

If that is true and they have indeed been hacked then not only is their precious money gone but the KYC details will now be in danger of being used for identity theft. Anyone who did KYC on their platform should probably alert the authorities that their government documents might be used by a third party without approval. That way, at least they can save themselves with a legitimate claim and plausible deniability, should someone take out a loan in their name or commit some kind of crime in a different country in their name...

This is exactly the reason why KYC is such a double edged sword.

Also, if they were planning on scamming their customers, then I think they would have made it possible to deposit and bet but not withdraw.

Best thing to do is stay away for now and wait for further details. Maybe its not a hack, but something else.

If indeed Betnomi wants to leave this business and they are not coming back they should come back to this forum to provide an explanation that can make their users calm down a bit, I'm sure their users are waiting for them to come back again and hope that happens. but I also hope that the users will not be disappointed if in the end betnomi will not come back and leave this business.

Coming back to the forum to make things right and settle off agrieved customers will be a good way to leave the business if they want to but I have hardly seen such happen if this is an exit scam. Betnomi has warn the trust of many here and I'm sure not many expected this to happen. It is still fishy that they would disappear without any sign of coming back because this is taking longer for a site maintenance.

In case it was a real maintenance than the company would make regular updates about the process and when the site will be back up. Which they didn't do, no company that wants to keep running a successful business would do such a thing. Customers are angry and even if they come back now to try and go back to normal business will never happen again. As an online casino you only have one good reputation, once you lose it it's gone and it won't come back. It's one thing to give people their money back, it's something completely different to try and get new customers or get their existing customers to gamble. Any private company is allowed to close down their operation if they don't want it anymore. But in the way betnomi operates it exit it's not a fair and honest way. I hope the whole issue of the remaining balances and stored user information can be sorted out, I wouldn't bet on it though. All we can do is learn from this experience and move on.
