Hello everyone,
I'm very stressed now and I dont know how to make myself relax and feels better. So I wonder to know that When you are stressed, what do you do to relax ?

Hi there! If you are still interested I can share with you what I do when I'm stressed. I use the Wim Hof method: special breathing and exposure to cold.

I do short meditations in the morning (3-5 minutes of deep breathing) and whenever I'm feeling stressful. It helps me accept the current situation and move on. Classical masterpieces by Bach and Vivaldi also help me staying relaxed.

I watch funny videos or shows to forget some things, It would trick the mind like you're not dealing with anything or try sleeping.

My stress reliever is playing mobile games. When i'm very stress in school works and everything. I just play mobile games, it's like an alchohol for me. I didn't think the problem i have when i play. Even when i have a fight with my girlfriend that makes me feel so stress. That makes her feel more angrier

My stress is always self-induced and not caused by external factors, so I do something to stop a tornado in my head and move my attention to the body.

I take a cold shower, do some yoga, exercise a bit, meditate, take a walk or ride a bycicle around the block, works like charm to me.

When I get stressed, I take some time (from a few days to a week) and devote it to myself. I go for a walk, watch good movies, eat tasty food or learn something new and interesting). Because I can’t work well when I am stressed  Cool

When I am under stress I love to be in nature. It lightens the mind a lot. There is also a lot of pressure at work to actually eat tea and come back a little outside. You can also read various books to refresh your mind.

Most time, I sleep.. I try to find some sleep
I prefer sleeping to any other thing to rest .
I think that's the  best thing
sure?you can sleep when you are stressed?thats far different from mine because when i am stressed?i can't get a good sleep and always waking up in the middle of the night.

thats why i try to Drive long and make tired myself so when i got to bed i can sleep good .

Having sex will be one of the best stress reliever so anyone who got into serious stress need to make your gf to down for you.

Spending time with my family brings me memories from the past when I was a child.
Also, I am getting away from my phone and laptop in order not to get a call or a message that would make me stressed again.

If I am stressed because of my work and my financial problems, I listen to quiet music on YouTube and drink green tea, and after I finish drinking, I do some exercise and after that I talk to my close friend some time and then I go to sleep and when I wake up I feel comfortable and relax, I advise you if you are a smoker to stop smoking and also stop using drugs or alcohol and not to drink too much stimulants such as coffee and tea.

When I  am stressed,  I take a  cup of water and sleep for  about one to two hours and when I wake up, I will be stress free

Mennn! This question got my attention, OP i do sincerely hope you are alright now and not being active for a while got me worried, lot's of people do not know or understand what you are going through, it is easy to answer simply, watch movies, sleep, find something fun to do, STRESS and depression is connected, first comes stress then depression, i perfectly understand how you feel and i would advise you seek help, also connect with people you trust and love, let them be your source of calm and laughter, maybe get them to be around you and discuss with you while you try to sleep and no matter what you do never stay along in the house for a long period of time.

If you are stressed about work and it is affecting your health and you have so much bills to pay, i would advise to think of the bills as material things, let go of as much as you can, move in with others and try to get yourself together, try Yoga, swimming, gym and do this until your mind is cleared of all worries that affects your health.

If you are married with kids, watch cartoons with them, look at them smile and try to let that bring comfort to you, talk to your partner and  let her be your support.
