I assure you, if the bull run begins, they will still continue to sell their coins immediately after receiving, just for the simple reason that they are used to doing so in a bear market, and this will serve as an additional fuel for growth.
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?
I am one of the crypto fanatic here in this industry. I believed that holding an altcoin in a long term is one of the best way for us to earn big in the future, especially gaining bitcoin. But as long as you hold the potential altcoins just stay hold unto it just like Ethereum, Neo, Nem, Pundix and others something like that dude.
unfortunely, some coins needs to be disposed off real quick. Some of them won'rt be worth the hold so we taking this opportunity to sell them in order to acquire some good coins

People have different reasons why they're selling their altcoin holds earlier. My purpose is to get profit so if the altcoins that i hold hit my target price then i sell them. But i also do long-term hold of some altcoins that i considered have a potential to growth in the future.
if I actually save my altcoin until now because, I am sure someday altcoin will come back victorious though, currently it is still not and the altcoin price is still down but that is not a problem for me I am happy because, I can buy more altcoins and I will save it until the price rises again.
in selling altcoin there are two possibilities, the first because the price is good, and the second because they need other things like bitcoin or money needs in their lives.
When the market is in decline and there is almost no earnings, all that remains is to cling to every opportunity, just such a possibility is the quick sale of coins. however, even now it makes almost no profit.
Well if you stay around here for a while you'll come to know that most of the ICOs tend to loose their price in the very early days of its listing on the exchange so selling them early is a good option. Then once the price goes down, buy back much cheaper and you can have more coin at less price.
I think that many altcoins will never reach the prices of the previous winter, so it might be profitable to sell them, but generally it is better to wait for the bullish market, selling crypto at the moment is not a good idea.
I believe that in most cases this decision is due to a major fall in prices. All altcoins depend on Bitcoin dynamics, and they start to fall in price even more as compared to BTC. But I think that now it is better to continue hodl and buy reliable altcoins, while the price remains at a minimum.
I have sold some altcoins recently but I regard them as shitcoins, but I have retained and increased my holdings on some peculiar coins. 2019 and beyond will be massive year for cryptocurrency
I specially selected projects in which I saw the potential that will manifest itself with the full implementation of the plan. Almost all projects should reach full capacity in 2020, so I see no reason to sell coins earlier, especially in such a market.

I think it should be because they want to get more profit to wait for it to be patient so that it happens as long as don't sell at a cheap price it's just useless.
Patience is the key and if you hold the good coins in long term it will benefit you only as this would give you the best of the returns that you could have got from anywhere in this market. So selling early means loss of opportunity to make the money from this upward movement.
Many altcoins that you keep will die. You'll watch them like at the picture) Better than this shit coin to sell in bitcoin and increase its quantity. Bitcoin is the future.
I agree that bitcoin it is the future, but altcoins are the present. now you can earn very good money on the growth of altcoinsThat's right and people prefer things that have a higher level of certainty and Bitcoin has the requirements. Altcoin for some people is just an alternative, so however Bitcoin remains a top priority, and it will be very difficult for those who already know bitcoin to choose their own altcoin rather than bitcoin.

I think most of people here in the crypto world want to earn money right? that is why if they buy a lot of coins in low price and they think they can make a good profit if they selling it, they sell it immediately because not all time the price is good, so they take the opportunity to earn money if the price is good.
in my opinion the benefits of crypto are sought because of the difference in purchase price and selling price when we start investing and end our investment. and the decline in prices in the market can still be used to start investments with affordable capital

Holding coins is good but it depends upon the foundation and updates of the project the coins have. For me if I will notice the good foundation of the coins might have in the future, I will hold this coin and buy for more but if I will notice that this coin will have no more value soon then I will sell it once in order to avoid FOMO. 
Now many are starting to sell their coins for various reasons. Including due to their life circumstances, panic or investment. But I think that the decision was mainly caused by the desire to save their money until prices reached the bottom. But I continue to hodl most coins, I believe in their appreciation from next year.
I think those who now all challenge make huge mistake, if will new bottom, it not will too low and growth relatively soon will happen. Jump to:
