Honestly, ethereum is a strong altcoin and has a reliable foundation over others. It is worth to hold and buy some amount when the price drop to add on what you have because like bitcoin, it has potential to grow in the market and more popular can make it more usable than others. And also the community is very large compared to others because the percentage of transactions is higher than other altcoins. Therefore I like to hold it rather than holding others alt because i keep on believing that ethereum will be getting grow and grow as many years will passing by.
We need to hold some ethereum for our own good. Ethereum is one of the most demanded token so far. So we need to buy and hold it.

I think that Etherum are good because it's potential and popular because it used as many ICO platform. And that what made Etherum has strong possition in Crypto.
a lot of attention is being given to it as well in the crypto space and I am sure the sky is the limit for it as we get to see it increasing hugely in value over time. Ethereum is more established since it has basic function that is really being used a lot which is the smart contract and has birthed a lot of tokens till date. Therefore based on that fact, it is definitely an altcoin worth holding for a very long term and as much as you definitely can. ETH is a safe and potential coin. Its price ranks second after bitcoin. We should patiently wait. I believe that the price of ETH will increase. Because the cryptocurrency market is growing day by day and the coin will grow as well. ETH is very suitable for choosing long-term coin. That's why I and many continue to keep ETH.

Among all altcoins it holds the top most position and the second best after bitcoin. So, i am holding ethereum till I get the good profit out of it.
You can hold it because it gives its investors alot of reliability, it was the first altcoin that appeared so it brings alot of influence when you deal with it and even though the market has been dropping alot lately, it is still one of the best candidates to bring profits once the market recovers.
I'm waiting for the growth of the etherium because major updates have been announced. I believe in the project team, it has a lot of experience and they make weight right!

I don't think I can sell my ethereum I have to hold for firstly, the prices of ethereum in the market are not promising I.e very low. Secondly, I don't just want to sell it now for I want it to be there for future purposes
In my opinion, if you want to only hold 2 coins then ETHEREUM and BITCOIN is the correct answer.
Right now Ethereum price is very low... I wouldn't sell any at these current levels. These levels will most likely remain until BTC attempts another ATH or if ETH finally launches POS Casper and reduces the miner dev fee.
The proposal for the next update is to reduce the issuance from 3 ETH to 0.6 ETH, so it will cap the selling pressure and should cause price stability.
Right now too many people are selling ETH daily to pay off their expensive 1080Ti GPUs.

ETH has weak sides too, as we could witness in past days. It can become easily clogged when a lot of transactions come in short period of time. Nevertheless too much depends on it to fail. Many tokens are based on Ethereum network and it is very fast when there is no clogging.
Personally I think it is a good idea and right for you to do. With this unstable market condition, the right thing to do is to hold the ethereum. If necessary, you buy ethereum again now, then hold it together. That way you will get more and more benefits from ethereum when the market price increases.
