People tend to hope for the best. Personally, I see a limited effect from bitcoin ETF on the crypto market. While there is no decision on the legalization of cryptocurrencies, there will not be a massive influx of institutional investors into the markets.

Maybe it won't be a pump year, but if the situation is stable, we are even bigger than the same period last year. There will always be a cons forever, but the market will also find a way to survive, and become bigger in the future.

Do you think of the country is only US and China? This is a big joke. Even The majority of canadians countries are supporting crypto with taking lawsuit to the big companies that blocked the advertisement of crypto.

I think the belief was founded upon a replication of the previous few years from 2013 to 2017 all of which produced a bull run after an initial sell off during the first quarter of the year. People just assuemd that 2018 would follow the same patterns, unfortunately it has moved sideways for the whole of the year so far.

In my opinion situation of crypto market will be the samething like last year, which bull run will start on june or july and continue all the times high till january next year. In fundamental this market will keep growing, because from some good news will be more new money come in to crypto market, so market cap will increase too. 2018 will be the year of purification for the cryptocurrency. Huge HYIP last year and trading bots artificially inflated the market to huge volumes.Now we are observing a healthy natural state of the market without an explicit pump / dump.

There are many reasons for this. The decline in prices in the market has been going on for half a year already, and there are speculations that during this decline, very large players (investors) entered the market, now they will in any case need profit and hence there will be a huge price increase.
