I think thats because they follow the trend of crytpo from past years. Bearish market always precedes a bullish runs. And we still have two quarters left before the end of 2018. Based on previous years Q4 always gives us pumps in bitcoin and other crypto prices.

Maybe that's what most of people expect, but the reality is, the market movement can't be predicted even at the slightest. We can learn from the past price cycle but it doesn't guarantee that the history will repeated once more.
Although this kind of belief is what make cryptocurrency has value right at the moment, so basically, a positive beliefs.

Maybe they are just hoping. Humans are full of hope. They saw the 2017 pump and bet that 2018 will be the same after the bear market, to regain what they have lost and maybe more. Reality of course is different, it has to take into considerations that many bad things have happened, for example the Tether manipulation discovery:

It's better to ask yourself what you believe, starting from facts like these.

There is lot of changes in 2018 when comparing to 2017. lot of new people now know about crypto and lot of countries also have positive idea about crypto. lot more new exchanges coming, binance going to introduce euro trading pairs, nasdaq from USA is going to open a crypto exchange. so 2018 it lot more better for crypto. as i think now 10% of world population now know about crypto. in some countries more than 80% of population know about it

I truly believe that crypto has big future and that blockhain techology can make a significant impact on many spheres of our life. Of course there are many poor projects that don't have any potential, but if we talk about really decent and serious projects, i guess they will achieve huge success.

You never know.

But seriously, most people just follow the herd, they invest or not based on hype, on market sentiment. Crypto markets have brought in a bunch of newbies, unexperienced investors who do not understand anything about the projects, but want to make a quick buck. Not serious investors which are willing to let the projects / investments mature and that do select carefully where to put the money.

This is my opinion.

I think we are at the last cycle of dumping, another word, i expect a sharp pumping in next 1 or 2 months we will come back to 20000$ and maybe we will reach 25000$ this year, so we must wait only and see the charts

Well, I think only those who are not knowledgeable would declare that in 2018 there is a big pump to happen. Well already see how is the market right now. It's already 3x lower than the peak price from december. It is unrealistic to say pump could be seen.

From what I know about crypto. Crypto is always increasing year by year, and crypto will also increase after the price decreases. It was done to crypto create a new record that will be achieved. Perhaps the law continues to run, but with no use of identity in this crypto will complicate the government in combating. First of all they dont believe that the price could go higher they hope because they want some profit but the thing is even when market drops they hope that it could recover that fast and that is bad idea its ok to think that things would not go on your side
