It's hard to answer this question.t is wrong. Everything can happen in the future.
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, its value is the highest, nowdays it's the number one of the cryptomarket so it's not  easy to replace it.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

That could happen, bitcoin is replaced with another coin. Nothing can last forever, regeneration is bound to exist.

Well, it is tough to speculate if bitcoin will be replace by another cryptocurrency because it is unpredictable. Bitcoin is the mothet of all coin yet, it is very powerful compared hence, there's a low probability for them to replace this coin. Maybe it will take a in order for them to replace bitcoin and it will be an achievement for them if they could.

No sign of altcoins can replace bitcoin position as the most commonly used cryptocurrency. Although the tx fee looks high, but volume of transaction hasn't been rivaled by altcoins.

It is hard to speculate that some other cryptocurrency can overtake Bitcoin. It is because of the fact that Bitcoin has established itself as the leader and it is leading other cryptocurrencies by a fair margin.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Of course, Bitcoin may be replaced by a more potent Altcoin like ETH. I think Bitcoin can hardly hit $ 20,000 but the ETH could hit $ 10,000 in the next few months. ETH will be a good candidate to replace Bitcoin.
The price of Bitcoin has reached $20,000 when it listed on CME for future trading. Remember, the price of Bitcoin can make the price of Altcoin up or down. Check the current market, no altcoin can against the bloodbath time of Bitcoin.

Nothing is impossible to imagine. And yes, Bitcoin can be replaced in future, nobody knows what changes will take place. If the high fees and slow speed goes on for long, then it will happen sooner.

Yes, it is possible. May be more and more people may switch to other cryptocurrency alternatives like Dash due to high Bitcoin network fees. Not sure when the lightning network will be implemented as the goal of the project is to decrease the transaction fees and make faster payments.

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
Two weeks back there were reports of users paying more than $100 as transaction fee for a single transaction. This is not viable in the long term. The fee has fallen during the past few days, but still it is quite high compared to what we had a few months back. And at this point of time, there are around 155,000 unconfirmed transactions in the Blockchain.

Sadly, that is the hard truth about Bitcoin. Extremely high fees make it impractical for day trading, or making daily transactions. It is more suitable for holding in the long term as a store of value, rather than using it for anything else. The inability for Bitcoin to scale for large masses have caused many investors to flee over to other altcoins which have better features, and higher transaction throughput.

One of the key features of Bitcoin in the beginning was cheap fees, and fast settlement. That is one of the reasons why Bitcoin became the biggest cryptocurrency in existence today. However, if it cannot keep up with handling a wider audience, then other cryptocurrencies may take the lead in fulfilling Bitcoin's original promise.

Nevertheless, I hope that Bitcoin would remain as the number one cryptocurrency in market cap for many years to come. But, if other coins like Bitcoin Cash gain better traction with its cheaper fees and higher capacity, then they would replace Bitcoin in the future. Just my opinion Smiley

I think no. Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any other cryptocurrency. We all can see how bitcoin dominates our present market. It shall take the number one spot because of its exchange value that rises high very much and it is very favorable to us.we are blessed having bitcoin in out lives because millions of people do have the opportunity to earn very big.

Yes it could happen but i doubt very much it will happen the short to medium term, to actually make bitcoin obsolete would be a achievement.
I don't think bitcoin can replaced by another cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrencies. It's impossible this time.

It could be bitcoin one day will be replaced by another cryptocurrency, but it may take a long time.

The price of the bitcoin is now very high and transaction fee are also increasingly expensive, and barely a month price of bitcoin is not much moves up. If this persists there is the possibility of the bitcoin will be replace by another cryptoccurency.

I think it is the time for the developer for slove the problems.
