Although I appreciate ETH and currently I am holding pretty much. But I do not think ETH will overtake BTC. ETH is much younger than BTC, it needs more time to prove. At present, ETH is silver, BTC is gold.
I guess, It is impossible dude. Ethereum is dependent to Bitcoin. Actually all market is dependent to Bitcoin.
That is very unlikely to happen. Still bitcoin even have a down trend this year many speculations that it will recover at the end of this year. That is why ethereum will never overtake bitcoin by 2019.

Many member here in this forum that ethereum now is worthy token than bitcoin . I cant blame them to think like that , especially now that bitcoin are continously down so some of the investors and member loss of trust to bitcoin and believe to the #1 competitor of bitcoin which is ethereum.

it's true that it etherium has gained a lot of popularity among the people all over the world and it's demand among the people has also increased a lot but still I don't think that it will be able to over pass Bitcoin in 2019. This is because Bitcoin has way more popularity that etherium all over the world and it's demand among the people is also way more than etherium. Then all this is evident from the price of bitcoin which is more than that of etherium.
not ethereum will not be able to pass the bitcoin price because bitcoin has a very high price and has a very limited supply so it is difficult to get past the bitcoin price because ethereum has unlimited supply.
2019 is yet too early for ETH to reach bitcoin's position. I don't think ETH can surpass it during this time but it can in the coming years because it is really a fact that the most of the newly listed cryptocurrencies today are using ETH's ER-20 standard of toke that put bitcoin's market cap on top.

If what you mean by giving Bitcoin is in terms of coin prices then I think it's impossible but if you mean market capitalization then I think it's a rational thing for Ethereum to get past Bitcoin,
I hope it is not possible to cross the price of Bitcoin because once the price of ETH is increasing automatically the price of BTC will increase in the market. I hope it is impossible to cross because the BTC value will be very high in coming years.
That will never happen, bitcoin is go-ahead, eth will never pass bitcoin on price

I think so. Ethereum can definitely pass like Bitcoin in 2019 later. Especially if the development of Ethereum increasingly rapidly, of course, this is very likely to happen.
It's hard to predict actually, Bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrency and I think no one altcoin is beat Bitcoin within next 1-2 years. But you have to keep in mind that this is the crypto world so everything can happen here. I have an opinion and that is, probably within a few years we can see a coin that will beat Bitcoin.
I think that no alternative coin can beat BTC. People are used to the fact that bitcoin is the leader. And I see that people's trust in bitcoin is much higher than trust in ether.

I'm not sure about it because eth will still continue to be one potentially threatening btc coin. but I am still optimistic that btc will continue to be a high coin and will not be easily displaced by any coins because now this btc coin still occupy the coin with the highest position in the next few years. I do not think so. I'm still confident that in 2019 Bitcoin will still lead and still be King of all coins. Maybe someday Ethereum will be in Bitcoin position but it will take a very long time.

I am very simple to tell you a little.
ETH may be inflationary (because ETH is not restricted), bitcoin won't! Although ETH is the second largest cryptocurrency in the current user base, its role is not as extensive as Bitcoin! (ETH can only be used in the market)

I highly doubt it happened, because bitcoin is however the world's first crypto so I do not think anyone will be able to compete in spite of any coin like eth though.
2019 is still too fast for ETH to rival bitcoin prices because bitcoin will still be superior for the next few years, but if bitcoin capacity diminishes or can be reduced by mining and prices it will be very likely that investors will move on the ETH and most likely the price ETH can rise significantly. 
it seems that ethereum will not be able and will not be able to pass the bitcoin price because bitcoin has a very limited total supply and is different from ethereum which has unlimited supply.
