A couple of weeks ago my answer would be no, but now, I am not sure. Actually it is really hard to predict Ripple price, since it's a bank currency. Someone who bought Ripple when it was 3$, should just wait for next pump, but nobody knows when it will happen.
This is a long term investment, and a big issue with this market is that so many have invested in order to get rich quick without even understanding the asset itself. This market is very new, and as time passes, my hope is that people educate themselves more and more.
Now things are happening for the market. not only for XRP, but also for each token market if it is green. we need to investigate it very carefully and be careful for the purchase operations
This is an unreasonably high price for this coin (at this moment). So don't count on it. But what will happen in 2019 and 2020 is unknown. So it's better to proceed on the basis of the current situation, and not rely on that, will be at the end of this or other years.

Obviously the market has dropped further since this post. I would be happy with recovery to $1 by the end of the year.

I think by the end of the year it would be pretty good to get it up to $1, but I still find it difficult, ripple is a long-term currency, so I don't see a price hike yet, maybe in two years when the market normalizes a bit if it goes up like a foam.

XRP really is not a potential altcoin so it can be achieved at $ 5 is not possible during this time. For that to happen, the duration will be 10 years and when the Crypto market is recognized around the world, then the XRP is expected to reach $ 5 per coin.

the price of XRP depends on its company . it is a centralized coin . buying XRP is equivalent to buying a stock of ripple company . i have purchased some XRP . I am stuck . i hope it can reach five dollars . i can get out as soon as possible .
It could but not in this year, for me growth of this coin will be slowly but it will be going up, next years could be wonderful for this projet, hope i am right.
