Wirex have the highest interest of eur/gbp btc usdt in the market of the last 24 months.
For private customers them offer 15% for eur. 7% for btc.
This number are crazy. Is the oldest wallet crypto that offer card in the market.
Until now im pleased with them. I hope that this company have great perspectives in crypto.

Some good news, I received my new Wirex card last Friday, but there is no news about my refunds yet, they are just taking their time. I have activated my new card but haven't used it yet, I am now on the standard plan and will only use the card as a backup to my new CRO card.

If there is any further news, I will of course let you know, whether positive or negative.

Wirex is under all sow and I am glad that I have already received my Crypto.com card, neither you get a reasonable answer to your questions, and in the Discord you are immediately blocked for unpleasant questions, a dirty company where everyone should avoid it, here are my questions that are perfectly legitimate.

- The address itself is butchered, the guys from DHL called me asking me is I'm actually living in my own country, the street doesn't even exist, the town has a missing A, the zip code is my phone number, there was no number for the street, if you have ordered a card with no tracking considered it lost

After your problems and message, I've had a pretty big surprise: my replacement card has arrived in the past week.
It was not tracked, it took about 1.5 months to arrive, but my name and address are correctly written onto the envelope.
So.. it's not so much "if you have ordered a card with no tracking considered it lost", it's more "it's Wirex, some days are better, some are worse" Cheesy

An update on the card situation as I was amazed that just a few hours after posting last time on the forum I got a message from DHL for a delivery!

The rest is a mess and I think I will need to order the card again if it's this bad

If the name on the card is the same as the address, I don't know what am I supposed to do when paying online, let's assume I make an order, what will the shop see:

The card is ok, the name is right on the card, it works with both contactless and pin payments, so no trouble yet.

Thanks for that, I will just consider that sum gone and that's it, besides I wouldn't want to get again in KYC and verification on another exchange for not even a hundred euro.
But, do you know a way to hide the balance so it doesn't add up to the main figure shown on the app front page?

As for the delivery, prepare for a long wait, I know somebody who asked for one at the end of January, ordered a tracked delivery, still nothing last week when I talked to him.

I ordered one with tracking number back in February, paid some extra $15 for the DHL order and it's April and I haven't received even the tracking number let alone the card.
Still on the lookout for alternatives, if possible cheaper than wirex.

Directly no, at lest not the EEU one.
One trick that works is installing Curve, adding the Wirex virtual card to that and then pay with Gpay.
But it's a pain in the ass, I'm not sure about the fees as I bought what, 2 cans of soda with the dust from the altcoins and it won't help you at all if you go over the contactless limit and get asked for a pin at the pos.

As for the delivery, prepare for a long wait, I know somebody who asked for one at the end of January, ordered a tracked delivery, still nothing last week when I talked to him.

I've learned to have the lowest expectations on Wirex support, so I'm not surprised by that answer you've got.

I learned it's better not to ask them anything.
I opened a ticket to ask why the card is not working anymore (physical one) and when 4 weeks later after finding out eveything that is wrong with it I got a ticket I thought wow, its solved, but it was just support closing my ticket with no answer.

I no longer have any confidence in it. For example, a friend had problems withdrawing his stable tokens/funds from Wirex, after 4 attempts his account was blocked.

So he has even bigger problems, at least I can still use the virtual card, but I have already opened a Crypto.com account.

Maybe it sounds harsh, but it doesn't look to me as bigger-than-usual issues for Wirex.
But yeah, getting the money out via that virtual card is a pretty good call (and you made me thinking, thanks for that).

The fact that Wirex support has not been reliable in recent years is nothing new and does not surprise me, but the problems with the card are new, the virtual one still works but I have already withdrawn my BTC there and sent it to a secure address, I no longer have any confidence in it. For example, a friend had problems withdrawing his stable tokens/funds from Wirex, after 4 attempts his account was blocked.

So he has even bigger problems, at least I can still use the virtual card, but I have already opened a Crypto.com account.

If it helps you at all, my replacement card is also unnaturally slow in getting here. But I'm not that much worried, if Wirex doesn't want my fees, I'm sure that Bitrefill will be just happy to do that. (Plus, I'm not too eager to spend these days.)

Yesterday I got the following mail from Wirex support, but this is again a standard mail and somehow it sounds like delaying, again no tracking number or concrete information about the refunds, what does Wirex actually have in their hands if not even the WXT tokens, at least they admit once that they have problems with the physical cards...

You can enroll the vcard in Curve and pay with your phone, I tried that for fun, and in works, you don't need a Curve physical card, just their app, enroll it and then you can pay with gpay!
But since you already got your money out of I guess there is no point trying this roundabout trick anymore.

But that's not the point for me if I need another provider to pay. If Wirex no longer wants to or can no longer deliver physical cards, then they should at least integrate the NFC card function into their own app.

I hope I get my approx. 400 dollars out soon and my 1.5 io WXT are unfortunately blocked for another 50 days, then I'll finally put an end to Wirex and look for a reliable provider.

Oh yeah, the same minimum amount that I need to exchange wrx to usdt on their platform.
41 k is about 300 euros in wirex tokens, I'm not going to use that card ever and I'm also not willing to risk depositing euros and changing it in wxt to get the minimum and maybe get locked out of them!


As Wirex still has no NFC function, I need the physical card, I use it for refuelling, daily shopping, etc.
I was in Indonesia a fortnight ago, the virtual card is of no use, and if Wirex does not send my new card soon I will cancel the account, sell my Wirex tokens and get a reliable crypto debit card, currently for me I am still waiting for refunds from Wirex of about $400 is a scam agreement.

As I said, the card worked, and you were satisfied, that's exactly what I was saying!
That's why Wirex gets a thousand happy customers who still have a working card, they will turn unhappy when they are in the same situation as you, but that will take a while!

Should I give it a try to exchange 250 euros to wxt to get the min requirement or will I get just stuck with more wxt tokens?

So again, if you just want to load a card with crypto and spend anywhere, at least by last year Wirex was in the top options.

I already mentioned tens of times in this topic and you can check my post for years, the customer support is crap, their cash-back rewards are useless, and their duo plans with a sky-high APY smell like celsius, I haven't understand why would someone wire fiat to wirex to buy coins cause that's like just..

But!

In June of last year I had problems with my wirex card. After _months_ of back and forth they told me that it was due to my balance being "corrected".

Basically they took a failed ETH to EUR exchange from 2018 and ran it again. I don't have to tell you, that the exchange rates back then were radically different than today, but they used 2018 rates for this "correction". So they took ETH that was available to be since 2018 (because the exchange _failed_, it was not in any kind of pending state) and gave me EUR at a fraction of todays value.

I strongly believe there is intent in this, because after bringing this up to support twice, I am no longer receiving answers.

Anyone else affected?

I also don't have a good picture of Wirex anymore, the following 3 things have happened to me the last 2 months without any solution (i don't will already speak about 2 month last year without function), I have already withdrawn my BTC there to a secure address, but went after about 3 hours without any problems (even if that is too long).

- Ordered a card via standard shipping at the end of January, no card for 2 months and no refund of the $5.
- Two weeks ago I ordered a card with express shipping for $15 but received neither the card or the $15.
- Three weeks ago I was deducted about 62k WXT tokens for the elite plan I cancelled in autumn, supposedly I will get a refund at some point but nothing, and I want my 62k WXT tokens and not a price-adjusted Euro. I paid in WXT and want my full WXT back, I'm curious.

Wirex is currently under all sow there is something lazy in this shop and suppoirt, today in the Discord channel already with me 3 people who do not receive their cards, no matter if standard or express shipping, and no answer from the support except standard answers.

That's BS. I remember I was having issues with their card/account all the time. Missing deposits, cards not working, mysterious exchange rates and fees etc etc etc... neverending drama. When I thought it just can't get any worse, they closed my account for no reason. Out of all the cards I used: Bitpay, Payoneer, Revolut, Skrill, Coinbase, Binance and many others Wirex is absolutely the WORST one!  Cool   

That's exactly how it is, what's the point of big rewards promises, constant newsletters about how great is Wirex, if you don't even get a card in Europe at the moment, something is rotten at Wirex so I have already withdrawn all my BTC there because I no longer trust Wirex.

As soon as my 1.5 million Wirex tokens are unlocked I will leave this shitty organisation that thinks absolutely nothing of its customers, for what is a Eliteplan good if I can't use the card for at least 2 to 3 months in a year, or don't receive one at all?
