System is broken that's why, you have to write to their support so they manually syncronize your balance on card. Pro tip: if you mention "paypal" anywhere in your support mail your ticket will be automatically closed, so be creative while writing to support mentioning paypal.

It's completely broken.

I added 0.1 BTC on there over the weekend and the exchanges kept failing and I couldn't withdraw my funds. Today, my balance is only 0.03. I'm very short changed.

The 0.03 of my balance did exchange and my card is loaded. I'll be spending that asap as my worry is that this place is falling apart.

Oddly after the exchange my balance is 0.031, but in the exchange window it's 0.

No reply from support yet.

I would not advise anyone to deposit anything there. Get your funds off ASAP. I can hear the walls falling in.

I have withdrawn my money from my PayPal account almost 5 days now and till now it didn't reflect on the card so why the delays? Anyone got an idea because it usually takes 2 days also my account is full verfied so I don't see any problem in my end.

I don't know yet if my card works....as I don't have a lot of BTC on Wirex.....and I'm not in a hurry to deposite BTC.....

That's begin great.....

I have been using this joke of a service for over a year and I have to say I didn't think it could get any worst ... I was wrong !

Since E-coin rebranded as Wirex everything has changed for the worst, as if E-coin wasn't bad enough already !

The support response time is beyond ridiculous , I doubt I have ever come across any type of service in the world that takes 2 weeks to reply to a ticket !

As if that wasn't enough, they have hidden rates and they even charge you 1 Eur month for each card that you have (virtual cards included), even thoguh you rarely manage to load any of them .

They don't update the real rate for bitcoin, not long ago their rates were around 1800 eur when the real bitcoin value was 2500 !!!! I can't imagine how much money they stole this way from people who didn't even realize the discrepancy .


In my particular case, ALL of my recent attempts at loading any virtual card failed and the money was held  by Wirex . 2 weeks after they merged all of my tickets in one (since I had a total of 4 failed transactions worth over $1000) and their reply was that I needed to send my documents again ...

Here's their reply to 4 failed transactions (take note I have created new virtual cards as every single one of the old virtual cards failed !)

It seems that because a lot of new cards were ordered some of them were not verified (which is why the exchange couldn't go through). Please send us proof of ID and residence and we will follow-up with the bank for them to verify all of your cards.

I have fully verified my account over 1 year ago and have had a physical card ever since, I even sent my documents a second time and now Wirex is coming up with some ridiculous excuse that they need my documents again to verify virtual credit cards ? Just lol ...


I am done with this service and just want my money back to move on

I received my new card today. Have some patience guys.
I hope the VISA will be accepted at more places than the MasterCard did.

DHL tracking numbers usually become available on the 4th working day after the card is ordered.

The bank is facing problems with the delivery process and tracking codes distribution. It's expected to be addressed during the next week.

We will certainly keep you posted and send you the tracking number as soon as we have it.

They actually say that . Btw how did you know about your Card arrival ? Did DHL Local office call you or you get SMS etc ?

No one said that customers will get tracking info, just that tracking info for your package exists, probably so they can check what is going on if you, after some time, don't get your card.

Does the card support Android pay or Samsung pay? Does it allow for VCCs on one account for online transactions?

Is it really that hard to read last 3-4 pages of this thread?
