I only have one address so I find it hard to believe that I would use a different one, but I did just log in to see the BTC back in my wallet and so I have withdrawn it successfully. Thanks for manually intervening in the situation so my money would not be stuck forever.

We made manual card unload as we promised. Unfortunately, you didn't answer our question about waiting for $1 that will return soon to your card from Amazon, so we unloaded only $9 instead of $10.

As for another concern about card work, we can help you if you will ask about it in the ticket, but your main issue was how to return funds from the card. Our cards work fine with Amazon and other services, but there can be some reason why you can't make a purchase. The most common reason is your billing address in your Wirex account is not the same as you provided for Amazon or your Amazon account's details don't match your account details in Wirex. As I know, for services like Amazon it can be critical and they can refuse the payment.
The fastest and easiest way is to ask Amazon support why the card was rejected. Based on their answer we can ask our bank to provide the exact reason for the rejection. Anyway, it is individual work that should be done only after your request to [email protected].

I have used wirex for a couple of months now.
Got verified very easily and have not had any issues yet, they always reply to my tickets in 1-2 days.

Same here, although I am not "that old" yet. Less than a month or real use, and that was the virtual card. Now I am waiting for the real thing (plastic).

I load 1000$+ regularly and never had any issues, never had my card decline anywhere and also was able to withdraw money easily in my country and abroad.
Instant loading of my card and no issues at all.

Ofcourse not a problem, I have used my card primarily in Europe ; so far I've used it in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France,Spain.

Never had any embarassing issue with card declining or failure to withdraw or something like that.
Today I had an issue where my balance was not synchronized with what I spent (not showing correct value left on the card) -Sent email at 9:23 AM and got a reply that the issue was fixed at 10:25.
I love the customer support, always polite and providing a solution without going through tons of standard replies like most companies.

Cards do not work once you load money into them. You will not be able to re-exchange your USD on the broken card back into Bitcoin. Customer service is extremely slow and incompetent, usually with fake answers to try and confuse you or justify their theft.

I will try to explain:

1) Your $1 wasn't charged by us or our bank and it is not a monthly fee. It was charged by Amazon and it is usual practice of many services to check if your card has funds on it or not.
Currently, it is on hold and will be released after 14-15 days since the date of purchase/attempt to link your card to Amazon.

I'm calm, it's $10 after all. I'd like to make it a point that everything I attempted to use the card for or buy with the card did not work. If the $1 hold went through several days after but the $6 purchase I tried (to try and salvage money off the card) didn't, how does that make sense?

As well as there was more than enough Bitcoin on the card to give a healthy fee to transfer it back into the wallet, as the price of Bitcoin went up by at least 10% during points which I tried to exchange it back into the wallet to withdraw it.

All that aside, ticket 164244 was just created by me with an address for the withdraw. I don't mind if it's only $9 in BTC minus the fee to get it off. I'll pm that to number to you like you asked.

2) Our support team was correct to ask you to verify your card. We are under regulation of UK law and as many other same services we always ask to verify your account to avoid all issues with low limits. Also sometimes our card issuing bank may block your card if they find something suspicious and to unblock the card you will need to verify your account. That is why verified account is the key to the successful usage of our service without many problems.

3) As for your another concern with card unload. Card unload (buy bitcoins) is a blockchain transaction and blockchain fee will apply in this case. According to our minimum limits and blockchain fee, you haven't got enough on your card to make this unload. And our support team was correct to ask you to load more to avoid this issue.
This time we are ready to make a one-time exception and manually unload your card even if it is lower than our limits.
We can't provide your personal details on this forum, that is why we ask you to create a new ticket and send me in private message the ticket ID, I will find it and provide a manual refund to your wallet. If there will be problems with manual refund we will ask the bank to do it, any way you will receive funds to your wallet.

The 1$ is the monthly fee. I don't know yet the rule for choosing the day they get that money from the card, but I'm 99% it's the monthly fee.
The failed conversions are another story and their tech support should tell us about that / why that happens.
About the tech support I can tell that some of my issues were resolved nicely, some others were ... like talking with somebody from the wrong movie.
So I got a monthly charge on a card that doesn't work after only a week. Seems legit... NOT

Have fun with the $11 you took from me because of your minimum deposit amount.

Me adding .0049 BTC to the wallet and then putting .004427 BTC on the card which is exchanged into $10.

Me continually trying to exchange that same Bitcoin on the card which is broken and can't be used so I can put it back in my wallet and withdraw

Them telling me my card failed to load, which it hasn't because it had at least $10 on it, which will later be changed to $9 for no reason (which proves it loaded successfully) when I ask for my money back to BTC to get the fuck out of their broken service

And when I open another ticket about the failed exchanges, now I only have $9 on it. So they took $1 out so I would have to send more money in to even try and fail again to get my money out (but wait I wasn't verified so why would they make me deposit more???)

And so now they just sit there with my .004427 BTC which is only worth $9 I guess (It's worth more than that) requiring that I put even more money in to get it out. As you can see this is blatant theft or complete incompetence by all accounts. AVOID. DOES NOT WORK AT BEST AND COMPLETE SCAM AT WORST.

You need to take into account that if you've already performed financial transactions, they are legally required to keep records for several years.

If you have not yet made any financial transactions though, they should have no problem removing your account.

I started having problems with transactions wrongly showing, or not showing at all, both on the app and the website.
Now it doesn't update at all, it's frozen at some days ago, with many missing transactions (before and after the freeze moment), etc.

Does anyone know if I can transfer bitcoin to the virtual debit card then withdraw that money straight to my own personal bank account or is it just for online purchases?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer funds from the Wirex card to your personal bank account.
If you have only the virtual card you can spend funds for online purchases.
If you have the plastic card you can spend funds for online purchases, POS purchases (offline) or withdraw cash in ATM.

That's pretty disappointing. Is there no way to implement it so it allows direct bank transfers? I need to cash out £1400-£1800 a month but the physical card only allows £800 a day I and don't really want to pay the money in cash every month if I can help it.
