Honestly, I am a person who does not have much capital so I do not use a lot of money to do altcoin trading. I can only suggest how you should be able to trade securely. First, make sure that the money you use for trading is not the money that will be used for daily need. You should use the money savings which you are ready if you fail then you must sincerely lose all your money. You can start trading with the amount of money that you think it would be sincere if you lose the money. This is to shape your mental and self-acceptance of the bad things that happen if failure happens to you. You can also trade with no capital at all. You can also get the initial capital from a bounty campaign if you really do not have savings. That might be my bit of advice.

There's no minimum amount to start trading in cryptos. But to be practical, the bigger your capital, the larger is the possible profit. You need to know what market volatility is all about. Once you sre awared of the risks, the chance of losing profit would be lessen. But trading in the first place is not advisable for new comers so make sure that you know what you are doing.

I think that newbie should start from $500 at least. $100 is not much enough to diversify assets well. My first investment was around 300$ a few years ago. It was the best time to buy and hold, but I was silly enough to trade. Wink

Ideal is 100 USD for starting.
Research and study the flow of the market.
And check any tokens that have a potential to grow even more. 100 USD is a fine capital for this investments. A good start for investors Smiley

I always say we should perceive the $100 as a trial version of the fully-fledged trading. "Living" money is an excellent idea for getting used to the market movement and assess all possible risks. You'll start to learn from your mistakes much sooner, and it's the main merit of such an investment!

I do not see the point of investing less than 200-300 $.  And it seems to me a small amount is better to invest in ICO.

I advise you to start investing the amount that you are not afraid to lose.  And then when you have more experience, you can invest large sums.

As most would say, start with money you can throw in the trash can an would not mind you will not see it again. That is how i roll. I lost a little but it didn't hurt because i already accepted that before i invested.

I recommend starting with a small investment, $ 100-200 and forming a portfolio of 5-10 coins. Just for training. So you will learn how to choose projects and make all the mistakes of a beginner.

To get a good profit, it seems to me worth investing at least $ 500.  I think this is a good amount to start with.

You think that your profit will depend only on the amount of your investment / trading capital. But this is not so easy. Your profit will depend on your ability to trade and choose the right coins to purchase. If you do everything right, you can turn a small amount into a very large one.

Many says that invest only at the amount that you can afford to loss, especially when you are just at a learning stage. A little investments sooner you will become a good trader. I prefer to invest to those reliable altcoins that has good projects, reputations and useful technology in cryptoworld to prevent from getting loss.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Well, if you are a starter in cryptocurrency market you don't need to put up a large amount. 100$ is already enough. But this is the start which you gain experience and already know how the market works.

There are different factors, you need to consider. If you are a newbie, than it might be better to buy stable coins, like Bitcoin, or other TOP10 coins, and do not be afraid, if the prices go down a bit, it is a volatile market.

You can start with the deposit that you are ready to lose, do not invest as much money in the crypto currency as you can not lose, let it be for you $ 100 or maybe $ 10,000. But it must necessarily be the amount that will not be in you a burden. Just understand that there is a big risk of losing money

I think in order to start investing in the crypto currency, you should have an untouchable supply of money. That is, if you now have money and you immediately decided to invest it somewhere, while you have nothing left in your pocket, it's silly. Start investing at least a thousand dollars.

To start trading it is depends on how much you can risks. Also any amount you can start depends on your budget because others wanted to start big to earn big profit. Either start at a small amount wherein you can carry to roll in trading.
