The problem with my XC is, is that I bought them on 240k and on 144k, so higher than the price currently is, I am just hoping the price will ever go above that again, I assume it will, but still.

Take this time to learn about crypto in general. You were asking some very basic questions about reading charts and even what "decentralized" meant. I get it, we all need to start somewhere but those are the types of things you want to know about before you lay down your hard-earned money on an investment.
That is true, I just can't find any good tutorials.

Even selling your coins for less then you bought can still make you money. Sounds weird but it is true
How do you plan on doing that? Selling for less almost always makes you a loss.

If I buy 10 XCurrency for 240k and sell at 200k and buy back at 140k.

That's how
I guess, but that is very risky, because if you buy 10 XC at 240k sell at 200k and what if it goes up again? You sold at a loss with nowhere to go.
But you still have some "capital" to invest with.
If you are patient, and do your research, and learn about how markets work, you will definitely get another opportunity.

It will mate, all it will take is a few more big hitters to notice us and we will take off, keep spreading the work, keep believing and keep supporting... The price is stupid low for a rock solid coin, with arguably the best future out there, and I think without doubt the best team...

We just need to start to see the new expected features roll out now and you watch, this thing will catch light...
Everybody keep saying that, yet nothing has happened for a view weeks/months now.

The more Active connections you have in your wallet, does this increase your network weight along with your coins?

Or is it just the amount of coins?
As I understand it your weight is related to your coin age, the longer you do not touch them the higher weight the got but ...
As soon as they stake the counter got reset.
Number of connections or amount is not relevant.
In the end you get 3.3% a year, just get online every couple of weeks.

Expect a direct relation between confirmations and weight.

If I have 100,000 coins that are 29 days old, my weight would be the same as if I had 1000 coins that are 29 days old?

That doesn't make sense to me.

I would think that your weight would depend on coin age and number of coins.  Number of connects should be irrelevant as long as your wallet is synced.

I believe you are right, the more coins X the amount of time =Weight.

The number of connections might be important a year or two in the future. Skype calls, Decentralized marketplace, exchange and file storage.
As a connection goes throu your wallet you might get a small fee.

rly nice drk is so stable and didnt rush down the last days like almost everything else
We are not here to talk about DRK.

i think he meant xc  Smiley
Oke, I don't like it when it is stable, it either goes down a lot after a little while or it goes up, but most of the times it goes down.

Equal wealth of distribution, brother. This is good for a long term currency that we all are striving for. By we I mean, us cryptocurrency freaks. Funny how cryptocurrency is not even a word in the dictionary. I'd just like to point out regarding the impatience and short-sightedness growing in this community. I believe, all of us are a part of a great purpose that's taking place right now, at this moment, during the fall of 2014 when the world is transitioning through a paradigm shift in the financial industry with the help of a disruptive technology that's one of a kind. A kind of which, the world hasn't yet seen. Sure, there are Facebooks and Apples of our times and I think, they will be kind of like our predecessors in the technological journey. Now that we are aware of how a decentralized currency works, the collective human mind will catch up and build other stuff on it. Cause, that's we do as species, as humans, we build.

The implementation of a decentralized money-making system should change everything. It should transform how our institutions operate and carry out their business for the better good of public. Transparency among businesses and the value for privacy is already a huge deal for the western nations.
Sorry, I'm a bit high and I'm just trying to write something regarding how Bitcoin changed my life and how it's so great to finally believe in something. Sure we will fuck up and make a havoc while we reach there, but till we are there, I don't see a better coin to be invested in alongside with Bitcoin. XC as an investment, as a product, as a coin, and as a community, is an open testimony that we are here for innovation and we are here for mutual growth.

Here's one for those of you who will support XC through it's highs and lows. Right now are the lows, by the way. Wink

The state of XC now was what DRK was at the same price(when it was priced at 100-150k).  It resisted drops due to solid fundamentals, and with the future outlook had nowhere to go but up.  I see the EXACT same thing in XC now.  It has resisted market drops, has great fundamentals, and has nowhere to go but up.

You don't like stability?  Huh

The only reason one might not like stability is if the intention is to sell in the short-term for profit.

If that's your goal, you're probably not in the right place.

On the other hand, we have no idea how lucrative the collaboration on the revenue-generating wallet feature might be. Perhaps we will see some gains in the near future for your satisfaction.

yeah really looking forward to hearing what this new feature is all about.  Smiley

Me too. I care not where the idea comes from, if it makes XC more lucrative and profitable for its holders it's a big thumbs up in my book.
