He/She was pointing that you don't know what trolling is, he wasn't literally asking what trolling was. Trolling is something very specific and when you abuse words like that they lose their meaning.

Anyone who asks pertinent questions or makes relevant comments in this thread is labeled a troll or fudster.

Point out a flaw or make any criticism in this thread and you are called a troll or fudster.

You have half a dozen fanboys jumping on anyone who voices something different than the cult dogma.

Trolls and fudsters did not kill this coin. The cult did.

I think the indifference means "I don't really care about the price of this coin - if it loses or gains value it doesn't effect me so I'm not butthurt since value has taken a dump"

I think the "cryptoblood boil" means "what I see that this coin thinks it can just get away with and then act 100% above all reproach and arrogant after doing shit like pumping other coins, associated with pumpers, etc" makes my blood boil.

so "I don't have skin in the game to be butthurt over price but your actions disgust me" is more along the lines of what he's saying.  but i could be wrong

I apologize. I can see how my post came across as directed towards you specifically. It was intended to be more of a general post aimed at all those who continue to troll this thread.

With that said, I think you contradict yourself (see bold) in your post.

I am sorry you feel as if this thread wreaks of arrogance. If you feel that way, the most I can do is to ask you to consider that the XC team and its supporters have had to deal with a lot of negativity over the past month or two and that perhaps what you might consider arrogance might just be Synechist and the XC supporters trying to express themselves amongst all the noise.

Illodin, you sound pretty worried about getting XC investors. Thanks for the concern!

(Also, as already stated, there are quite a few XC slack channels without any prerequisites. Actually, all but one have no prerequisites.... And the channel that has one is for XC holders/investors only.)

I assume that by 'outsiders' you mean crypto investors and traders who currently do not own XC but might consider purchasing some XC.

See, what some seem to fail to comprehend is that pleasing 'outsiders' is not what defines the success of a coin or crypto project.

'Outsiders' take interest in coins primarily to buy them low and sell them high.

That's all fine and dandy, but that generally results in the coin being dumped into oblivion regardless of how the coin's development team delivers. For long-term and sustained success, a crypto project needs to penetrate the real world. It needs legitimate applications and real world use.

This has always been and continues to be the goal of the XC project. Soon it will become apparent that XC's value is to be defined by its demand as a path to real world goods and services and not as a vehicle for speculation and profit like the vast majority of crypto coins and projects.

I fail to see how this approach could be anything but attractive to savvy investors.

By all means, we'd love to continue to attract new investors to XC from the crypto community.

But the bottom line is that XC is pursuing a multitude of potential revenue streams. This project is likely to succeed whether new investors from the crypto community take interest or not.

It's up to the 'outsiders' to decide whether they want in early or if they'd rather chase more immediate gains elsewhere as is the status quo in the alt coin world.

the 1000XC is not mandatory for the general slack channel...
It is only needed for the "verified-xc-holders" channel.
