You dont need a payment id to send you your wallet. Thats for exchanges. Altough i dont see why you havent received them. Did you checked on monerochain for your transaction?

Also it takes some time for poloniex to make the transaction and some times it fails but they fix it at worst when you communicate with them...

Many people have been asking when XMR block reward "halves", so I made a chart of average block reward per year. We began at ~17.6, now we're at about 16. Of course, the block reward decreases per block.

You can view the live chart here: http://monerochain.info/charts/reward

Code:
Year Average Block Reward
1 13.8360377478

If you wan't to tell the world why Monero is better than Bytecoin you can do it here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=665950.new#new

Why would you want the animosity? Seems silly to even argue the two let alone create a thread to do so.

Please PM me offers.  I'd rather not split them up.

Otherwise, feel free to point some miners at them. Smiley

Can someone please remind me of the daemon console command that shows the debug info (what block height it's on).

It finally came back to my memory today.

It's set_log n where n is a number eg 1.

This command should be put in the list of commands that appear when you type help.

Why does the `bitmonerod` daemon keeps getting killed? I've just compiled bitmonerod on Ubuntu x64 and downloaded the latest blockchain.bin.

Just one proposal: Somebody was talking about the possibility to make a lightweight wallet, given the fact that the daemon and the wallet are running separately.
I would start considering this idea: It would be possible to provide something like an "official" daemon, with all the necessary measures to provide a reliable service (clusterized, HA, ...) as well as a smartphone wallet. If anybody could have on the smartphone a monero wallet, that would ease a lot a wide adoption, and even making XMR a viable payment method.
I would suggest the developers to think about that possibility.
zone117x is working on it already.
