there are many coins now and personally I think Its very hard to price it. The best way is to compare with the similar coins that already success and have high value. I prefer ICOs than bought the coins on market because in my oppinion the ICO price is the lowest price you can bought.

From my point of view, you should do some research and invest in the coins you see the potential. Then you will get good information and I recommend you invest in ETH because it is good for long-term investment and promising in the future.
