Depends what altcoin you are buying because not all altcoin is worth some of them are worth less or some of them are shitcoins.. its better to choose altcoin in coinmarketcap choose top 20 altcoin and you will make a profit for sure

Im buying all Proof of Stake coins right now.  Passive income is great and I personally feel like PoW is going to see its demise at some point coming up.  Recent report shows .5% of the worlds energy is now used on PoW mining, which is an insane amount! The govs and enviro agencies around the world arent going to sit on the sidelines much longer.  I like FGC, AEG, MANO, and DIVI a lot.  FGC is my favorite because it is a very small market cap right now with a lot of room for growth.  Not to mention they already have multiple working products and are hosting live eSports events at their gaming arena in Vegas.

From what I personally know you can always rely on coinmarketcap top 10 currencies,  because there are statues makes us think that they were tested and found trustworthy. Those like BTC, ETH, LTC and etc.

Exactly. All of these alt coins implement a unique technology, whenever it is smart contracts/dapps, or decentralized exchanges, or even cloud storage from within the blockchain. I think that all of these work well together in a unified blockchain system. As for me, my most favorite are Ethereum, Maidsafe and BitShares. They are one of the most advanced alt coins out there, with very huge potential. Take a look at ETH for instance, in which is one of the most popular cryptos out there next to Bitcoin.  Smiley

there are some good altcoins for daily trading but are not recommended for long-term investments. this is quite difficult because we have to be really careful. So it's not enough just to read and see it in a few weeks.

No one can be sure about the future hence just the risking is the only way to go with. I have started collection ethereum. The ethereum could be a good coin, he have long term potential.
