Yes altcoins is better than bitcoin because those altcoins are innovating the system and idea of bitcoin. One of the example of the best altcoin than bitcoin is ethereum and this altcoin can overtake bitcoin soon if ethereum can reach the marketcap of bitcoin. I think the fiat value of altcoin is based in the bitcoin price because bitcoin has a very big marketcap that's why it can control the price of altcoins.
Altcoins getting more profit because of the price can get more profit if the value increase.

They are different at all... And better for what? Bitcoin is a huge crypto currency, you can buy any altcoin with BTC, altcoins are good for longterm holding, their price increase might by x1000 . Do you think BTC can make x1000 ? No
Those who sit on one thing or only have one type of egg in their basket suffer most IMO. BTC has been beaten up for a while now and so have most other coins as they all seem to fluctuate with BTC. I have no doubt it'll go back down and may even make lower lows but with big investors setting up ETF's and buying exchanges there's no doubt in my mind that we'll see massive new highs at some point.
In terms of the price, Bitcoin is the leading one and the price will not get very low when the price decrease. But when it comes to earning you cannot depend on Bitcoin because its price will not increase faster because the earning will be base on the profit. Bitcoin usually increase only 5%, so it means you will just get 5% of your capital that you invested in Bitcoin unlike Altcoins sometimes you will get twice or thrice of your capital you will get. So that you will earn big profit in a very short period of time. So I prefer Altcoins than Bitcoins.

Now there is more hype among the altcoins than Bitcoin. This is due to the fact that Bitcoin acts just like the father of the cryptocurrency, and the altcoins are developing and bring new technologies
In the present scenario, It does not seem to possible that Altcoin will be crushing Bitcoin in terms of price. Bitcoin is the king and unbeaten leader of this market for a long time. Mostly Altcoins coins are using the ERC20 platform and nowadays ETH platform does not performing as per market expectation. So still now, Bitcoin is better than Altcoins.
For now we are having their completely different situation on the market, when all of the alternative cryptocurrencies are slightly fading out, while Bitcoins price is rising up fastly.
Not yet, and this will not happen in the near future. Currently Bitcoin is very well rooted and there are no obvious competitors.
I think ethereum can compete with bitcoin's price but it can't defeat it though bullish people may make it''s price too high. No one knows, maybe it can bring you lot of profit.
I think nothing can replace Bitcoin in this market. Because first Bitcoin was heard. Bitcoin is the first thing anyone who hears a new market hear. For this reason, I think, Bitcoin is better than altcoins.
That's the way to look at it. Bitcoin cryptocurrency is good and well less risk, but profit is less. And bitcoin is good in the long run. As for altcoins, this is a good way to make a quick profit, but the risks are much higher. But the main thing is to think and analyze.
Right now not so sure, but I do hope that btc dominance goes to below 10% and it'll be ok imo. For the currency aspect btc is fine, but there may be better solutions in the near future, adoption will follow slowly.
I like the altcoins, especially if they offer solutions to existing problems, or simply better the world. Cryptocurrencies are perfect to incentivize this, to keep people motivated and to make sure people are pushed sufficient...

For me I Bitcoin is still better than Bitcoin. I just felt more secured with Bitcoin since most of the wallets being hacked are ETH. In my point of view, both of them will be good depends on your concern and how you are going to use it.
That is a big FUD, never in the history of cryptocurrency Altcoins makes it better to Bitcoin.

Hell no, that will never happen on bitcoin. In terms of price and trading volume, bitcoin have that all. Especially on the price, no altcoins can beat or even surpass the price of bitcoin. Let's see what will happen in the next 5-10 years, maybe we can see an altcoin that can surpass bitcoin.
