This is painful to watch but I don't think the market will be down forever.  Could be down for a while though.  I might have to just take my sumo of the exchange so I don't do something stupid.

I understand that SUMO is the most best fork of the algorithm, Monero, and much better than Electronium. I think everyone agrees with me, although advertising at Electrohome would be enough for 3 coins, at least. But the number of SUMO is not so great, and Electronium may be more convenient coin, I could be right?

Please fix the link under "Source code - Whitepapers" section at https://www.sumokoin.org/
Currently it links to GitHub and ofc shows the closed repo (which could be quite bad sign for any potential investor).

The github issue will be shorted very soon so all links will be back to normal the following days. Thank you for notifying us!

Glad to see its already solved, good job!

Crypto Developer
I am a long term Monero evangelist. I have always maintained that Monero is the #1 privacy coin but I am mighty impressed with how the SUMO devs have handled this issue amicably. They could have started throwing mud and made this ugly but they clear want to work together with Monero for the betterment of both projects. This is most unlike the other shitty Monero forks whose devs don't know the first thing about coding but are busy insulting investors and other devs alike. I am now convinced that SUMO has a bright future. Just bought a whole load of SUMO.

Same here, for me SUMO has been a big revelation, easily the best most dedicated dev team I have seen in a while.
Keep up the work guys !

Regardless of how the community feels about it, the individual from Monero had every right to do what he did. As for those yapping about this aiding sumo to escape monero's shadow Grin stop it. Sumokoin will always be under Monero's shadow just as PIVX will always be under Dash. Regardless of how much you grow, you will always be your father's son.

Just be happy with the free publicity.
Agree, but they can both cooperate pretty nice. Not like with ETN Cheesy

You devs might wanna get behind the monero block 202612 issue. Electroneum just created a pull request to fix it. You may as well just copy their approach.
From what I have seen (remaining gitlab repository), the unnecessary code is still there. It's best fixed before a mass panic breaks out. And yes...there is plenty of time.

https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/pull/119

https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/pull/120

Core devs have fixed the first from day 1 and the second will never happen cause Sumokoin has a different genesis_hash from Monero
The check code will be removed though just to clean up and avoid further confusion
So no worries there! However thank you for notifying!

No worries...thx for the quick reply.

Devs,

Can we work on a new roadmap for 2018?

Have you read this? https://medium.com/sumokoin/spring-plan-2018-9d0218c8db40

I'm sure the roadmap on sumokoin.org will be updated soon. The devs have probably been buisy with curveballs Smiley
