Hi, there is no logic in the crypto world !
how can a clone of Zcash without any innovation (Zclassic now is traded for 9.60$ each ZCL) outperform Zcoin which is an original implementation ?
Can someone give an explanation ?!
My opinion.
Zclassic is a pump, seriously. The entire reason that Zclassic exists is because they don't like giving developers money. And now they are making zencoin or whatever so that they can put the tax back.
So just ignore Zclassic, it's basically another Litecoin.
It might make a billion dollars on the back of no fundamentals, but that's because of the bubble we are in.
What you should be asking is why is zerocoin not worth as much as zcash?
I am researching this to decide if I should up my zerocoin investment.
My issues so far:
1. The zerocoin project has a very limited team.I can one relevant professional with a Masters on their webpage. Sure you don't need qualifications, but not everyone is a Vitalik, so the qualifications helps.
I see no cryptographers or scientists on their team and I think that isn't a good sign. I can see liaisons and front end dev. The founder is the only one with serious clout. (Poramin Insom)
With the 20% tax I'd hope to see that powering a world class team like what Zcash have on board. (

2. The bug.This still makes up a massive amount of the coin supply and will suppress prices for a long time. It's free money for the attacker forever.
The problem here is that the code had the bug and it is apparent why, the team has one guy that knows enough to check over the whole lot.
At least with your competitor zcash they have a huge amount of people responsible for verifying the conditions.
3. The tax.I think considering that the zerocoin team is not on the same level as the zcash team it would have made more sense to make the tax less (unless they are going to utilize more professionals.)
