I wouldnt make this promise because its not worth making, gamble when you like but separate playing the game from the amount you might gamble while playing.  If you play with low amounts of no trouble to your budget its more like practice and no concern or anything to avoid.   No need to avoid the gamble but always every day avoid risking money you dont have spare, so thats not a promise just a requirement to manage money properly.

Yes, whenever I experienced losses from gambling, I will promise myself never to bet next day but some games will come up that will make me to go back to betting next day because I understood the two teams very well and I know the team that will win at the end of the match. Since then,  I don't promise myself to stop gambling when am loosing money than to force myself to stop gamble that very day and continue the next day, and the next day will be a better day that will make me to smile to recover all the losses I experienced. I don't think, it easy to leave gambling when you have achieved so much money from it, but I can take a break from gambling like one or two days before continue gamble.
When gamblers feel that they have made a lot of profit from gambling, I think it is difficult to leave gambling because gambling can be used as additional income when trying their luck at sports betting.
I understand that I have experienced that the more you want to stay away from gambling, the more difficult it will be to leave gambling and I have also experienced the same thing as you when betting on sports betting to get lucky winning streaks in a few days and since then I have had a hard time leaving gambling.
What happens is that gambling can be very difficult to leave behind as it has several characteristics which appeal to our most basic and raw emotions, so once someone has developed some sort of dependency towards it they cannot leave it behind, and this is even more true these days, as it was not long ago in which in order to gamble you had to travel far away to gamble at your closest casino, but now you have hundreds of casinos available to you all the time with the use of a computer or a smartphone.

That just makes the situation more challenging for those who are trying to quit because nowadays, you can bet in any casino (online) at any given day and at any given time. Plus, if you are trying to distance yourself from these online casinos, you will start to see some ads from any given social media platform and that will probably change your mind again because there is a chance that you will be tempted as you're already having a habit towards these gambling activities.

I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?
I am sticking to a strict budget so i don't need to promise specific day offs for myself.

So even if i had the problem of keeping that promise, the fact that i wouldn't have any budget to play with would protect me from my impulses. And i don't EVER play over my budget. I have done that once and i know it's a slippery slope. Following my own rules make me respect myself and i am hooked on that feeling more then i am with gambling.

Well, the truth is that when this type of thing happens it is because they have had very bad experiences, and if many things can happen, the first thing that one promises or can promise is that one should not play at controlling the jaguar's impulses. , because the bad streak is something that can cause a lot of stress, and it is not pleasant to feel like that.

I have always said something, you have to have the game as an additional option to the fun, we must always Dedicate ourselves to what we like, to our responsibilities and above all to what it does to us every day, that's why the game, the casinos , and sports betting must be carried out in the best way so that it does not become something that leaves us bad, so Sometimes it is not necessary to establish schedules, I believe that one as a human must establish the Priorities of our Life.

The schedules are good when you have work to do, or you have a very demanding job with rotating schedules, that is something that must always be balanced, but before a schedule, you must do something, be in the best of spirits so that it can arise The game is very good, without problems.

If we talk about emotions, maybe this will be one of the triggers for someone who finds it difficult to stop gambling because gamblers who have very high emotions certainly always remember their losses and all of this is supported by the ease of accessing gambling to find ways to recover their losses.
Even though he always feels regretful after losing money at gambling, when he remembers his loss and has some money, he will immediately go to gambling again to express his emotions because of the loss.
They not only remember the losses which make them to feel remorse about what they did, they also remember the good times and all what they felt when they were winning a huge amount of money and all the attention they received at the time and they cannot help themselves to try to relive those moments at least one more time, unfortunately for them this is not common as even if you can win once in a while, it is very uncommon to be able to win big all the time.

Yes, same here. It's not that I'm not fond with gambling but since I'm only into sports betting which makes my gambling expenses limited as I only choose some games that I wanted to bet. I don't need to make some promises to myself even if I will lose a decent amount at any given day because I know that my next betting activity will probably a few days after or even a week.
This is exactly like myself, the only time I know that I am always betting like everyday is during events like the world cup, or any other tournament that I am very familiar with the teams or clubs playing, aside that, my betting is so seasonal..

But then, a little difference here is that, I do sometime, try out my luck on casino games, and also slot games, though not frequently as well, I play casino or slot games when ever I feel bored and don't feel like playing some random video games on my phone, I just play slot or casino games where I have a chance atleast to win money, but this though, is if I have some extra money to spare, willing to lose.

Sometimes yes since there are times that I said that I will not gamble on that certain day but turn out that I still gamble especially if I see that there's ongoing appealing contest happening or even if I see my friends enjoying playing some particular games where all of us can engage with it. This time happens and for sure all of use experience this scenario so we should not feel guilty about it since that's the life of a gambler.

Well, it's quite difficult not to be interested in joining events or competitions, especially since the rewards offered are quite attractive. But of course some people will be guilty when in the end they lose and spend quite a lot of money where they have promised that they will not gamble again and I have been in a position like that. That's why it's important to be able to control your appetite to play, even though it's quite difficult I'm sure that if you practice it you will be able to control your urge to play.

This is a normal feeling of a gambler that when he loses he become so disappointed that he thinks that he will quit gambling and will not play for a long long time. For the very next day the gambler forget about his loss, the motion gets a bit cool down, the wish for gambling arises in his heart and he starts to gamble once again.

This happens with me, this happened with everyone as our commitment of not to gamble won't last for long and its very hard to stop ourself from gambling. Stay away from gambling is too much difficult for those who are already have the habit of gambling daily.

I believe everyone loves money whether we like it or not, it is very important and since gambling is one of the oldest conventional risks men used to find money, they will continue to play it but I must admit that I like it together with the fun, I don't get bored or feel alone when I engage in gambling and I have never reached an optimum point where I would think that I feel attached to it, I do have days I skip playing and I can even go a week without smelling odds of matches and events. When a player gamble to the point when they cannot leave gambling, then I think the person needs to get some fresh air and stop playing for a while, it is not a do-or-die thing if winning tickets don't appear in the dashboard.

This is very normal to every gambler. It's like signing a contract with a devil that you can not be able to withdraw again. I can not tell the exact numbers of times I have vow not to ever gamble again but unfortunately I will go back again after few days of my break and that's how I realized that one can not fully abandon gambling once you're addicted unless you are just lucky.
In fact it is very difficult to take an oath in gambling, if it is more addictive it goes to such a point that even after taking the oath, it comes back again after a few days. Also if there are risk factors for gambling, consider avoiding all forms of gambling, people who gamble and places where gambling takes place. Learn to control yourself to prevent gambling from getting worse gambling commitment and returns are entirely up to the individual.

However, overcoming gambling is quite difficult, but if someone succeeds, it's a great thing. For the past few years—let's say almost 3 or 4 years—I've gambled a lot. I was on the verge of becoming addicted to gambling, but I was forced to stop when I realized that the money I spent and the benefits I received from gambling were not even comparable. That's when I understood that doing something is bad since it can ruin someone's life. I gambled despite the advice of friends since I enjoyed it so much and even though I didn't make much money there. Even this days, I continue to gamble, but I view it as something I can do for enjoyment rather than financial gain.
That is why, even though quitting gambling is difficult, we still have to try. Everyone will want to overcome their difficulties, especially in gambling, where losing money will be bigger than winning. And before our lives are destroyed, we should try to stop immediately and if we have trouble stopping, maybe we can try to reduce gambling time slowly. We can definitely try it, and it's the best thing we can do for ourselves and our families. And even though we have continued to gamble to this day, we are not going to gamble as much because we are more aware of the risks of losing big money gambling.

Gamble every day if you want, if you have time.  Just dont allocate anymore in that day then normal, dont go over budget from what you had planned overall probably for the month total is the best plan.  If you stick to what you had planned beforehand then the particular day isnt a problem apart from the time used but that depends on your schedule overall.

In the past, when I was still gambling, I had feelings of guilt and promised not to gamble on certain days, but it turned out that I was back to gambling again the next day or the day after. And yes, I did break it myself and somehow, after playing it again, I don't feel guilty.

At some point, in guilty before I was able to make a huge winnings; those wins took me time again before gambling because, of course, it's ideal not to be greedy in this kind of entertainment, or else you will lose most of your money. Before I came back again to play gambling, I said to myself that's enough for a month, but the joke came right there when I had extra money I tried my luck again to play of course keep hoping to win at the end, I lose that capital and take me now to stop gambling for a while and take time again when I feel confident to play.
So you mean that you won something big and then you stopped gambling so that you don't lose the money back and then you lost the same amount of money later when you gambled again? Let me know if I got it correctly, and to be honest, it's not easy for every gambler to stop when they win something significant, greed hits really hard as soon as you win something making you think that you can double it or win even more if you keep gambling.

And with no surprise, when you gamble more with the hope that you might win more since your luck is working, you will find yourself losing it all away back to the house, some people are wise so they stop midway, but some keep playing with the hope that they might hit a big win again and recover the money but that barely happens.

This is a very common thing and statement for those gamblers who have accepted defeat, because this is a form of frustration and despair. It's not strange that in the end they will do it again and defeat is the main thing that makes them sit back in the gambling chair in the hope that they can return their previous losses. Are you right in saying that you won't come back the next day when you already got the previous victory? I think there is little chance that it could happen, because most of them and maybe it is common knowledge that someone will do it again after getting a win. Winning will make someone more confident to do it and they see that they will be able to win it back the next day in the same way.
The winner may not return the next day after getting the previous win. It would be better to do this than continue playing gambling again the next day because, at least, that person should rest after getting a win so they can reduce their tension. A few days of rest would be good for him so that when he started gambling again, his mind would be less tense and he could relax in gambling. Getting a win can make them feel more confident but it won't guarantee they can get another win. So we must know what to do after getting a win and never continue playing gambling after getting a win because that can make us even lose the winning money.
