I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?

I think this happen when you don't have schedules or sometimes less occupy with work. These days, I'm too occupied with office with normal work during the morning and mid day hours and tbe forum take the remaining half of the days, if I scheduled my time to do something, I make sure any other things don't come in between and looking at gambling and how consuming time they are, I make sure I gamble when it's time for betting, I don't bet if I don't have the plan in the first place but in a situation when I there is nothing to do at work or in the forum, I don't mind looking at the fixtures and wager some free money, but only at my free times.

The only way to combat this behavior and irregularities in gambling is to become busy with extra activities apart from tbe forum and betting, when you become less available to yourself, you will only stick to schedule time for gambling and wouldn't wager money when you don't plan to gamble.

Infact, these - inclusive - is one of the most uncompromised decisios to make... Cus you'll end up seeing yourself back init, .. mostly when you're googling on some random search engines, and you've got unclosed/saved tabs about the sites you gamble with.... There's no way you won't wanna check on them fixtures,.. except Maybe you're outta funds completely. Lol  Grin   .....it's usually very tempting and would actually become the worst day of your life; mostly when you tend to lose more than the usual.

Even now I feel bad, because of what I've promised. At times something that coincides makes me think, just because I wasn't keeping the promise things have been happening bad with me. Even now I wasn't feeling good, I was sick and it gives me a feel of guilt. Most of the gamblers would've come across these kind of feelings. I've taken break for months and all of the sudden I lose control and start to gamble regularly. Further the break happens once after big loss.
I know this feeling very well, after taking a month's break I have done the same mistake at Duelbits casino. It is hard for the first deposit then it takes only once more clicks to deposit more and keep chasing losses. Thre more we chase losses the higher we go for big wins along with increased deposit amount. I strongly advise using gambling block software on your PC especially gambling block browser extensions to manage your addiction. Mental health is also essential in such situations, ignore what your gut feeling tells you.

How many of us are guilty of this?
This is the cause of being addicted to gambling. Your brain keeps releasing feel good hormones whenever a thought of casino crosses your mind that it draws you back over again. We have all come to this point although for some person the urge to go back is stronger than in others. It used to be my story earlier when I say I am not going back but then I go back. I just had to stop saying it and started taking action. Anyways, I joined a responsible gambling community and learned some strategies to deal with this. It took some time  but I did it. The strategies and intervention I learned there worked. So if you are like this, my candid suggestion to you is to find a trusted community and seek help.

As humanbeings, we are bound to mistakes, some things we say were not really what we meant vut we only make such utterances because the conditions being attached to our emotions at that moment, except we are left with the option of nothing left to use or take to gamble with we may not stop gambling due to the nature of how fun it is to gamble, in cases like this, we can always make abstainance the best solution to avoid gambling and also finds a means to engage ourselves busy on other things and than gambling for a while.
I think it is important that if a person says that they are going to do something they actually do it, and the reason for this is that if they say they will stop gambling for a period of time and they are unable to do this then they may think they are too weak to actually do so, and this could create in them the idea that the allure of gambling is too strong for them and then the next time they say something like this they will expect themselves to fail, creating a vicious circle from which it will be difficult to escape.
It all matters with your self will and self control whether you would really be still that proceeding on doing gambling or not.It all matters to you but we know that there are people who cant
really just able to have a good control into themselves on the time that they've been dealing with gambling. Why? because they are already addicted to it and cant really get rid that kind of addiction or motives that they do have in mind that gambling could might make them rich in no time. Once you do have this kind of believe and perception in your mind then there's no way that you could
quit up and stop gambling mid-way. People would usually be stopping on the time that they dont have money to spent anymore. If you dont like for these things to happen in the future
then you should stop on gambling mid-way and even if you do still play then everything should really be in moderation which is mainly that suggested.

Promises should be kept, and nothing should be leaked to the public. Promised not to gamble for a few days, but returned to gamble, I guessed I'm not disciplined, always building fresh set of rules that would regulate me and stop me from making hasty decisions, but I turned back and broke the same rules I've created with my own head. It's not controlled; it's just a regular thing that has become routine in the system; I'm concerned with the gambling habit of addicted gamblers who always strive to bet on more games; detecting distinctions is similar.
Youre in a tough spot, and its fine. Longing to halt but cant, right? Its not just about the regulations you've established. Theyre good, no doubt. But are they achievable? Youre not fragile; youre merely mortal. Its like wishing to polish off a pizza but limiting to a slice. Tricky, isnt it? But heres the catch - youre not on this journey alone. Help is out there, folks who've assisted others like you. Reach out. The results might astonish you

That has never happened to me, I would not deny that sometimes I lost more money than what I had in mind at the beginning of my session, however staying away from gambling is very easy to me, I think that if people develop many other hobbies to the point gambling is just yet another form of entertainment then the chances you will develop some sort of addiction is incredibly low, because as soon as you realize there was something wrong then you could simply stop and do something else in which you obtain just as much fun as when you gamble.
It's normal to lose more money than what was thought at the beginning of the game session.

Great, if can you stay away from gambling easily because in gambling there is such a domain that keeps someone addicted even though they are experiencing losses.
Not many gamblers can easily stay away from gambling.
Another hobby cannot be someone's race away from gambling because in gambling someone has the opportunity to multiply their money so there is always a desire to continue playing and betting.

I think there are many gamblers who are very much guilty about this especially if they are quite near into addiction, recognizes it, and wants to change for the better. However, sometimes people fall short despite the efforts and the willingness. So they get back in their old gambling habits after saying they won't be back to heal and change themselves. Some even experience relapse which is a serious matter for those who want to stop gambling for good. Leaving gambling behind is possible if there is enough determination and discipline involved. But of course, this won't be enough especially if you already have dependency and strong craving to gamble. Professional help and intervention is needed in order to totally quit and start anew.

Leaving is possible if you really can fight it. When gambling becomes your daily activity already it's normal like you unconsciously visit a crypto casino whenever you browse your phone.
I'm sure I'm not just the only one who has this issue. Sometimes even a boxing match is not really as interesting as the popular fighters, I'm interested to know who won.

I think it's good to feel the guilt. That means you still feel sorry for it.

We all know how tempting gambling can be and it is difficult to control the urge to gamble the next day.
It has happened to me in the past that I would decide not to gamble for a few days but still end up playing.
But over time I have controlled my emotions and I gamble when I want to gamble.

Many gamblers then become wiser in gambling, but some continue to gamble even though they have made a promise. It depends on him; somehow, he can forget what he said before, and that's normal.
That can't be avoided when it's like a normal thing for most of the gamblers that have dealt with promising to themselves that will stop after they gamble for the day.
If they stuck to his word not to return to gambling, they really wouldn't come back. But it's not easy because there are temptations from gambling, especially when they are surfing the internet and find advertisements about gambling that make them gamble again. This is where we must have self-control always to remember what we have said and not try to return to gambling because the impact can be worse than before.

Gambling addiction can be cured, but it depends on each person. And it also takes effort and strong intention to cure gambling addiction; if necessary, he can ask the people closest to him to help him to cure his gambling addiction.
It can be cured and there's hope for those that are addicted but it will take time on how they'll be able to overcome addiction. As someone who deals with gambling addiction, you can't help yourself alone but if you did then you deserve a round of applause.
As long as a person really wants to get rid of his gambling addiction, he still has a second chance to get out of gambling. And yes, he needed someone else to help him quit gambling. And even though it takes time to cure gambling, they will not feel bored working through the steps for recovery because there is help from other people.

This is a common issue and I think everyone has this problem. At the time of loss everyone thinks he should give up gambling but when he forgets the sorrow of that loss he goes back to gambling again. this happens to me too and I swear many times. Not only in gambling but in all cases the thought of giving up comes to mind during loss but later we forget them. this is not a personal problem of any of us, it is actually a national problem he he
If each of us can solve that personal problem, I think it will also have an impact on the nation's problems, where each person's situation will change and become better. If there is no awareness from each person, it will not change the state of a nation. So it takes awareness to be able to refrain from gambling. And if more people do, we will see a decrease in the number of people addicted to gambling, and the number of people visiting casinos may also decrease.

Kind of use to feel like this with each weekend that came because more opportunities presented themselves ,but overtime I have taught myself to stay off the screen whenever it comes to gambling because it messes with your mood and people around you.

So for one's mental and social health try to give yourself those breaks off gambling for a better lifestyle, you will thank me later, good luck.

Some person have try this but it didn't work but I must tell you that it is not an easy thing to do, you can say won't go for some days but there are some matches you will see you will be forced to go in again feeling that you will win, but for sure is good to control your gambling habit through this techniques but it is almost impossible to do.
If it gets to this point then you need to talk to someone , a friend,  family member,  anyone because these could be signs of gambling addiction!!

Gambling should always have that element of control to avoid getting trapped by it!

Yes, it's true that actually it would be very good to take a short break for the mental health of the gambler, that sometimes we don't have to gamble every time and every hour to get a win or a lot of money, that's why it takes a certain time to play gambling so we don't become a heavy addict in gambling if gambling is done every day, that's why there is a need for a break.

I know that making promises to yourself is difficult to keep especially when we are used to looking for pleasure in gambling in casinos or on sports betting platforms, after all there is no problem also playing only on weekends and not every day so as not to interfere with the gambler's social life as well and not become an addict. so start promising yourself not to gamble on certain days and change it slowly.

Yeah I pretty much its very easy to feel that terrible guilt if I can't handle my desires. I think about gambling as some game in general but it can turn to very money consuming activity so quickly. It is good to limit yourself through casinos (as far as I remember some casinos have that option). Gambling addiction is very likely addiction because making money through a game pumps adrenaline to your veins - you can feel insanely good gambling so. But you should always care about yourself to not damage your life.
