Nah. These guys are in here all day long slagging their card. If they are going 24+ hrs without showing up that is not a good sign at all. I would not be sending any btc to these guys before they show up here in a serious way.

No answer within 30+hours is not good for any business, online or not, when it comes to users money being stuck.

Also, no blog post, no tweet, no nothing makes yourself re-consider your atitude towards them. I stick to my opinion of not using them until a reply to my ticket is made. Is simple..

I can understand your frustration and your point is valid nevertheless. Your ticket will be eventually responded to and your issue will be fixed. Unfortunately, there's nothing to do to speed things up.

One thing I always do before loading my card or buying btc is reading this topic. If there are issues with their system, here you'll see when and also when everything runs smoothly.


Everyone is entitled to their opinions and choices. For me personally, the service is worth even with these errors / drawbacks. In my country, buying BTC is costly and takes time. By using E-coin, I can save both time and fees. Bonus: I do not have to worry about my bank asking for info about my transactions (some people reported accounts closed for trading bitcoin). And bonus2: I can buy btc with my paypal funds at market rate (+2-3%) instead of finding other users for p2p exchange and high fees (10%+). This is simply the best way to buy btc with paypal.

I always try to weigh pros/cons and for me Wirex is perfect.

I said this before and I say it again:

I am an e-coin user since the beginning. There are times when the 'system' is broken - load errors/ buy errors/ btc missing sometimes. I had these issues too. What I can say is I am sure the team is working continuosly on fixing these errors and improving the service.

The BUY BTC function is unique. I think they are the first and only (?) service offering prepaid cards (virtual and plastic) offering this function.

I am aware there were legitimate services in the past which scammed people and ran away with BTC and it's good to be cautious all the time, BUT in this case, Wirex has more to gain by simply providing the service 24/7 than running away with coins.

The point of this post is to inform people that there are issues here from time to time, but you can always count on E-coin!

after support intervention money are back to my btc wallet .. now i'm waiting their answer if card load problem fixed or not before try load my card again.

no answer to me from suport been 4 days this is the worst service i have seen suport is sleeping

i tried to use e-coin support form yesterday but no ticket created no feedback received .. but this morning i tried to contact wirex support at this address: [email protected]

the ticket created automatic & i got 3 feedback until now .. so try to send them an email from the same email u use in e-coin.

i can't acces to my wirex account it's freez in Two-Factor Authentication ( the same account works fine in e-coin )

I am just waiting for another 24 hours and I will open it and maybe enough people will respond to it and get these guys to shape up, ever since e-coin was sold it became a shitty company to work with.

i dont know whats going on with e-coin
it's more than 1h and my last trasfert to my wallet still in pending
If I remember correctly , It should get at least 3 confirmations before It gets added to your wallet. (It's mostly the card loading which people are having an issue with and not loading the BTC account)

it's okay now i can see it on my wallet but after 3h Cheesy

about card loading, the problem still exist .. my last card loading still not processed from yesterday morning & i can't see money on my card until now Sad

Good news E-coin is back online and i got my balance but i wonder what happend with e-coin, why they do this ??


I just love e-coin its simple and i want it to stay online please!!! Dont fuck it up!!
