Hi there,

I think you’ve been complaining on every forum that is out there, so I’m gonna give a very thorough reply here to defend our actions once and for all.

We got this gentleman from Denmark named Poul who’s 78 years old playing with us. First of all, we don’t get much players from Denmark, let alone older gentlemen, so it was a bit odd to start with, but hey, so far it could be quite possible that he was the one playing.

What we did see however, was that he was playing on the same IP as another player (Michael), who had self-excluded from his account, which raised our suspicion a bit. Because this sometimes happens online. That a person self-exludes and can’t access the casino again, upon deciding to use someone else’s details to play online.

So we asked for a KYC and requested the documents, and there’s nothing wrong with the documents received. Then we started to look into the players chat logs with Evolution Gaming where this 78 year old Poul plays.

After seeing those chats, I decided to reach out to him and ask for a phone verification to ensure that it’s actually that person playing, because the way he was talking was not in the way of a 78 year old man.

I get a reply from the email I sent to Poul, but the email was not from Poul’s address, it was from Michael, the guy who self excluded, so here’s where it’s starting to be extra suspicious. The thing is as well, is that he’s not presenting himself as Michael in this email, but rather speaking of himself as Poul (even though it’s Michael’s address used.

I ask for a phone verification when the person is starting to get very agitated and says that he doesn’t speak a word of English (seemed to be typing fine though, right?).

So we have this guy who plays Evolution Games who’s 78 years old and uses language such as: “One more spin and I’m outta here, lol”. To me, that’s not how a 78-year-old is talking, let alone a gentleman who claims to speak no English. Which has had me absolutely convinced that it’s his son playing on behalf of his father.

If the people reading this don’t buy these arguments, that’s fine, but they both also breached the most fundamental term of online casino play as they took the welcome bonus multiple times on the same IP.

Anyone who’s played in multiple casinos before are well aware of that being a rule that is enforced and caused for closure of account.

I got plenty of casinos I can trust, those that have a danish license are fine and all trustworthy, the only reason I am looking for one outside our borders is bc of the danish license funny enough...but some games cant be played here like dreamcatcher or monopoly live and other live games, but I am sure ill be able to find a trustworthy site soon enough, I am in no rush though, and this time i will be doing a lot more research before trusting another casino with a dime of my money.

If you want to reach something with Curaçao eGaming, then I have to disappoint you. They will not take proper action, because they are also responsible as Master license holder. They are not interested in these kind of situations of course. There are Trust (not trusted) companies who help to set up the best construction. It is in their best interest that everything goes smooth. They are not waiting for people who complain. Even starting cases in court is not going to work. I know people who tried this, make claims against bookmakers and the courts case was extended more than 10 times, and as we speak no result after all.

In a way i reached something already, if Curaçao eGaming is saying bitstarz doesn't have a license with them that's putting bitstarz in an even worse light for players and ill be happy to share that with everyone, giving people yet another reason to stay way clear of this casino.

Well i thought i had checked the casino out, it was the top rated and trusted casino on the askgamblers website, and askgamblers did have high review on trustpilot as well, but that site is a scam site as well.

According to the email response that they speak danish then why not talk to them yourself rather than making you speak english. Did you make them call you and speak danish so that your problem will be fixed. If still the same then you can create an accusation thread and you don't have to worry since it's their doing that making their reputation down.

Ive been trying to get them to call me and do a video call so they can see who i am, but they ignored that, and they aren't replying to any emails.

To avoid being careless maybe it's mandatory for all gamblers to verify the gambling site before betting. This is very important so we won't be able to loss a lot of money. If we fail we should move on and don't ever ignore those circumstances that had put you into that worst situations. Learning from a bad experiences, always makes us more mature and vigilant on our future decision making.

The money you lost is big money if you convert it to our local currency, gamblers should rely on independent reviews and accusations if they want to pick the right gambling site to play because if you are just going to rely on one gambling review site, there's a probability that they are going to pay to have a good rating and reviews.

Not all that much, I am only on pensions so don't have a great deal to play for, i made properly 6-7 deposits from around 20-30$ maybe, my last deposit was 30$ i belive where i won a little on some slots then i tried monopoly live where i put 3$ on 4 rolls, and got extremely lucky on first spin, wheel hit chance 10x then 4xrolls paid 1460x my bet, biggest win I've ever had, just sadly in the wrong casino, at least i did have some fun the night playing for hours before i made the withdrawal that got my account closed.

It would be a huge surprise if this casino would honor the payout, with all the proof I've sent and the offers I've made to provide more proof has gone unnoticed and ignored.

Not that i think it helps against a scam casino, but I've sent them another mail with documents showing my rent payment with address, and one from the bank with my name showing it's me paying the rent, also sent them a picture of the danish yellow pages that shows my name and only my name when you make a search on my address, and yet another offer to make a video call.... it's worth a try.

I didn't know about it before, but i looked them up on forums after all this mess started that's why i said "again" since i found out it clearly wasn't there first time stealing money from people, as i said earlier i only picked this casino bc it was the top casino on askgamblers, and i had no idea askgamblers was a scam site as well either...so yeah I've learned a lot last few days.
Well sorry for your lost this is a perfect example of why we need to do some research before putting up some money on a gambling or even investment sites.
Good thing you found this site and you could now look for a good gambling sites that you could play on and please do some research before depositing some money to their site.
If you aren't so sure about the site and it doesn't have enough info you could always ask the forum about it and the members would surely give you some feed backs about what they would find on the site.

Yeah you can be sure i will be looking up any future sites I am going to play on, and use forums like this to ask around and check for casino histories.

I guess I've been lucky so far, its the first scam casino I've ran into since i started in 1997 with online gambling but lesson learned.

a) Continue to talk them nicely even how annoyed you are until your patience level reached its critical level
b) Accept that you are now unable to get that amount and move on

Yes i only have a single account with Bitstarz, my son had one with them as well but he closed it permanently before he ran into any issues with them so that's something at least, and no i haven't done any bonus abuse the winnings i got was after multiple deposits with no bonus at all as well, which i don't think any bonus hunters would do, i did receive the welcome bonus but don't see why that should be a problem.

I would continue to talk with them but right now its a one-way street where they don't want to reply on my emails, and I am not sure what else i can offer them, they already have proof of address that shows I am the one living here, i send them a picture of my drivers license and offered to do a video call to remove any doubts to who i am, and all is just getting ignored.

So yeah i have accepted the fact that i properly won't ever see a dime of my winnings, now i just want to warn others and hope people see posts like this before they go visit the casino as i did.

Since its clear that they are having shady behaviour since you won a decent amount then this discussion should goes to scam accusation and give them another red flag so you may not get anything in return but it will save other people from getting into the same trap again.

My side on this was on Bitstarz even though they have tons of things they are doing here to make their reputation down from this forum site, anyway, Bitstarz has said they can talk to you in the Danish language so why not go with that offer and trying to make the situation even worst by using your own son in a thing that is a gambling site, surely Bitstarz has seen through you that is why they surely don't trust you with this conversation and actually I don't trust you as well that you really are Poul Madsen an 80-year-old that is playing online casino but can not make his own email conversation with Bitstarz sorry but this is the thing I see with your problem Mr. Michael Madsen.  

If you did read all the text I know there's a lot I did offer them to call me in danish right after he said they got danish speaking people, I even offered him to do a video call so he could see for him self who I am and it really is me he's talking to, but that offer got ignored.

i don't speak English I can read some and most I use translator for, same when typing in here I got a program on my browser that helps with spelling, if you belive me or not doesn't really matter much, i offered a video call so he could see me and see that i am the 78 years old man i claim to be, not 80...

Let say you are not lucky to get that money although you win that money. But they don't allow you to withdraw the money and they think that you are the same guy that already win and that guy tried to withdraw the money. In this case, I think you waste your time to ask them to send the money because they will not send any money to you. Just forget it, and try with the other gambling website.

I wonder why you select that site to gamble while you have so many recommended gambling site which has a good reputation among the gamblers? I picked that site bc I was looking at askgamblers website, it shows them as the top site and most trusted casino, didn't think of looking askgamblers up first witch was a bad mistake since they are in the pockets of casinos, I tried to file a complaint with them and they rejected it with the reason that it was not a casino-related problem.....

The real issue seems to be using same IP to claim the welcome bonus twice. And though the support response looks harsh, it was mostly because they were already sure that it's the some who is pretending to be his father and using his credential to open an account. It's clearly a violation of the welcome bonus terms and you should be held responsible for that. If you were not comfortable with the terms of the casino, you should have not used them.

The problem is they are sure about I am not my self, but they refuse to make a video call to talk with me or even a phone call.

I do see the IP problem, the thing is IP changes another person can get my IP tomorrow never know when it changes since its not a pure static IP, but it still doesn't qualify as a break of there terms, i live in my apartment alone and I have never had any other accounts with bitstarz, my son has had one that he closed permanently last year, it might have been made on the same IP but that was back when this apartment was his, and ofc I got proof of all of this witch bitstarz also ignores i sent them proof of address witch is now in my name only, its the same if you move to a new place where they got internet as part of the apartment and the previous owner made an account using the same IP or if you just happen to receive the IP where ever you live since it's not static this could happen to anyone.

You can be sure i will never open another casino account where they use IP in there terms its just an easy out for the casino to not payout winnings.

Ever since I saw the negative reviews about Bitstarz, I wouldn't want to use it or even just register in it. Anyways, typically I think it's a protocol for gambling sites to have background checks and verify that it's the actual person that is withdrawing. Maybe the account is hacked or something, but it's their way. For the most part, I think it has made it complicated for Bitstarz to handle it because of the different phones and emails that were contacted.

I made an account with them a few days ago and got lucky enough to win over 4000$ on monopoly live, so i tried to make a withdrawal and went through all the normal sending documents and so on, all my documents got approved with no issues.

Then i get a mail that a manager wants to call me to verify it all witch is fine, but since i dont speak english i told them to call on my sons phone number since hes good at english and this is when it started to go crazy.

They accused me for not being me but my son who dosent even live here anymore, might be easyere to show all the mails from them so you get the idea.
