On the other note, If he cannot win, I bet he'll be back in boxing doing the exhibition matches like Floyd.
Most probably as he might spend a lot of money during his campaign and if he loses, he will lose billions of money. An exhibition fight means no pressure for him and who knows, we might see him fight Floyd in a rematch and both will make a decent amount for sure.

Yes, because there is a lot of money involved in buying votes in elections. That's what he'll probably do if he loses, because he could make a lot of money from it and a lot of people will still buy a ticket. Now, in terms of his election candidacy, I believe he will lose if the people are wise enough not to vote for him. Though we do not know how well he will persuade the people during his campaign, I am currently unsure who will be my next president.

The truth is, if I would like Pacquiao to be successful in his electoral campaign, because more than he is a politician, he will always have a way of thinking similar to everyone in the world, on the other hand Pacquiao goes with other ideas, he is more focused on him. sport and that is excellent, now if he wins we would have to say goodbye to a high-level boxer, the truth is I would not like to see him giving exhibition fights, but fights as only he has accustomed us, but seeing his age, the best and Your health is paramount, and if you have lost conditions it is better than if you return to do it with everything.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

That's highly unlikely, never seen pacman goes for any kind exhibition fights, he will only destroy his legacy on boxing if he do that IMO. Besides it will only look him like mayweather in exhibition fights, all for money, acting and comedy. While pacman do entertain his fans and boxing fans inside the ring with a 12 round fight.

Yes, looks like we there won't be any news on Many Pacquaio because he will be busy for now and spend more time during the election campaign. Indeed he'll be spending much cash to promote his name but his latest poll about the election isn't running smoothly with him.

Yea I guess so too that if ever he'll be defeated in this upcoming election, we will see Pacman doing exhibition fight and likely to fight Floyd Mayweather again.

Furthermore, it is extremely difficult for him to become the next President of the Philippines, and most people are disappointed in him for pursuing a political career despite his lack of expertise about it. I'm confident that if he is elected President, he would focus on the job rather than boxing, because being President is a demanding position in which you must protect your citizens. I'm sure he's tired of boxing and that's why he's running for president; I believe it's the beginning of the end.

I guess Manny is the most unqualified candidate running for presidency in the history of the Philippines.
A good heart and a good intention is never gonna be enough to lead a country If you lack great knowledge in political field.
Manny clearly relies on his advisors and other people who's coaching him what to do. I don't want a leader who can't decide on his own. After all, If he wins he will just going to be a puppet sitting in the highest office.

On the other note, If he cannot win, I bet he'll be back in boxing doing the exhibition matches like Floyd.

His portfolio and his reputation around the country isn't just enough to lead a whole country, I honestly supported him in his boxing career but never in his political career, he does have what it takes to help people but not lead the people and nothing's wrong with that, his die hard fans may support him but come on guys, we all know that he's never going to be such a fit for such a big role, the country needs someone else, also, I don't wanna dive deep in politics but I'm pretty sure he won't win, let him just step down as being senator and play basketball instead? or cancel his retirement?  Grin

As of now Manny Pacquiao had already hung his boxing gloves up and had retired from boxing to pursue a political career, specifically aiming to run for a presidential position by 2022 Philippine National Elections. Personally I don't think not many people will ever be on his side even if he did Philippines a great deal of honor by carrying its name in each fight. Thing is he is already appointed as a senator and he barely attends during important stuff because of "training". Not to mention the fact that this same guy released a homophobic and misogynistic statement last year telling people that Gay people are worse than animals.
I do think that it's just another sweet words for him. He has said the same thing before when he's also running for a public post. Nevertheless, if his retirement is for real and he's aiming for a higher public post. He has to take care on how he's going to spend his fortune and won't be gone too soon because in campaign periods, there's really a lot of money that's going to flow from each candidate and on him, he's wealthy yes, but his wealth has a limit.

Many truly are disappointed about him, well the die hard fans are not. But I do think that there's someone that encourages him and tells that he got a chance to become a president. Well, he's a good fighter and coming from that, he's running as a president and thinks that he can handle real and the country's problem. Well, wishing him that he's not going to spend all of his wealth on his race right now. It's too expensive and he'd surely know that it is.

People got disappointed on him its because he don't have capabilities to run a country, he's also listening to his fake allies which targeting only his money plus we add up that he is release a allegation of corruption but he cannot prove anything that's why many people got angry to him and this is the reason why he will not take the set and he will just waste his money on this election where he don't have a chance to win.

I also believe that this is the start of fall down of Manny Pacquaio if he continue this impossible ambition, he still have time to back off since the campaign didn't start yet.

Its just non-sense that you had bumped up this thread knowing that Pacquiao Vs Spence was postponed and turned out that he fight out against Ugas which Pacquiao had lost.

He already hang his gloves or had already retired boxing for good which most people had been saying that he quitted because of aiming or focusing more on political field.

Well, we know on how great he was and I couldn't really see any reason that he do need to prove out something more.

We all knew that Pacquiao's greatest strength when it comes to boxing is his speed and I guess this feature of him didn't change even his aged now.

despite the guy being fast and having a lot of fighting experience, his age can be one of his weaknesses for this fight against Ugas, I'm particularly of the opinion that for this fight the two have equal chances of winning.

Ugas defeated him as far as I know. Meaning his age caught up with him. And since he already quit on boxing he's trying to explore a newer venture via running for president next year. Not so sure how the Filipino people sees this but as far as I can see they are actually against his run and would rather choose a guy who personally proclaims of himself as a half-human half-zombie offspring of the Ghost Rider than him. Filipino politics is janky and weird like that. Some people there never check the credential and would vote people based on how good-looking they are. Lmao.

That is, do you think that Ugas is so much weaker than Pacquiao that he will not be able to win one of 5 fights against him (if it were possible to conduct 5 such fights in identical conditions)? It turns out that if you're right, then the 1.26 odds on Pacquiao's victory are super beneficial and you can make an all-in for this outcome?

Suddenly people stop talking about the age of Pacquiao that he is old and he might get injured seriously. But anyway, Yordenis Ugás is not as young as Errol Spence, he is already 35 years but at that age he might still be in his prime.

This is understandable. Spence is a young undefeated boxer and a clear contender to dominate over the years. Yordenis Ugas is a slightly younger boxer than Pacquiao with an impressive record of defeats and does not claim to be a milestone in boxing history. It is possible that the upcoming fight will be easy for Pacquiao, I think if it happens this way, everyone will be disappointed.

It really depends on who's the fighter you favored to win, maybe it will be a hard fight for Pacquiao but it's ok because as long as he wins and he can give everything that he does on the training, so you can expect a good fight from him. As a fan, we only want to see is a good fight and intense fight because that gives us the entertainment value for our money.

Lots of possibilities in this fight, but all I can see now is that people are thinking it's just an easy fight for Manny Pacquiao.

We will find out soon.

There's no man would be still on tip top shape when he's already aging. There would be performance that will deteriorate and i agree that these both guys have equal chances of wining.

Speed is indeed his specialty but also power puncher too basing off with this career stats and greatness then i cant really blame out people on why they do have that common impression.

Wont really be that a bad idea when you do consider on betting on the other side.

Ugas does not have the speed and probably the power to defeat Pacquiao, he is just like a counter puncher but with the style of boxing of Pacquiao which is in and out, we might probably see a scenario like Pacquiao vs Clottey here whom Pacquiao's opponent is just fighting to survive, not to win.

We all knew that Pacquiao's greatest strength when it comes to boxing is his speed and I guess this feature of him didn't change even his aged now. Also, he has still his powerful left punch that records many knock outs and that is what makes his fight watched by many people especially his fellow Filipinos. However, I haven't made some take a look on the profile of Ugas but I bet that this man is the best opponent that they could give to Pacquiao in exchange of  Errol Spencer. The fight will going to happen tomorrow and there we could see the result of our speculations.

We didn't look at Ugas that much because we are a bit disappointed as we are expecting a tougher opponent for Manny Pacquiao. However, since Ugas is the champion and the real champ is the challenger, this makes the fight very interesting to watch and we should not miss his one.

Additionally, we cannot assure that Manny will still fight after this, so would you miss a possible last fight of the legend?

I'll go for the KO per round as it's more interesting for me.

Can you share some crypto-betting sites that offer other betting options for this match?

I want to see other betting options since checking a couple of my preferred sites, the only option is the winner of the match.
There will be no betting for this one because the match was already cancelled and Manny will face other boxer on August 22, try to look at your sportsbook if Manny vs Ugas is available and analyze first before you gamble. On this new match, I expect now Manny to KO his opponent on any round, this is still an exciting match.
I'm sure harizen knows the fight was cancelled, he is probably asking for the Pacquiao vs Ugas fight, and currently there's not betting per round on the fight yet, but when Spence vs Pacquiao odds were open, there were a lot of markets, so most likely the complete odds will also be available soon.

Please bring the discussion to the specific thread.

  Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas

And I think we have discusss enough and it's about time for the OP to lock the thread.
