In any case, Manny being the underdog is good for us.

I think Manny will remain an underdog even on the actual fight, lots of Americans will bet on Spence as he is the younger and the bigger guy, and champion as well. We believe in our countryman and since he is a "pambansang kamao",  we should support him no matter what.

I am so excited for this fight man. As someone who really grew up watching at least most of his fights, it is such a privilege to witness the People's Champ back in the ring with his age not hindering him from fighting the very best from his weigh division.

Do you guys have an idea about the pay-per-view setup on his match? I've been trying to look for the pricing but there seems to be no updates on how to watch the fight. I am pretty sure that I'm going to bet hard on this fight for Manny!

Maybe we will see some PPV offers as the fight is nearing, and yes man, that's the right thing to do, bet hard on Manny Pacquiao as he definitely has a good chance of winning the fight, Spence is big and strong, but who are we to doubt our very own who is the only 8th division champion.
Pacman was the underdog of this fight or not, age limit or not. I am still going for him as the winning of this fight and I know the lover of boxing that really understand his capacity will do the same. Besides, Logan Paul statement when he visited Pacman at his training session should make people understand that Pacman is not playing.

I hear that the fight PPV offer can be find on fite.tv

Most of us here are betting on Pacquiao to win, that's for sure as most fans are Filipino fans. I only notice a few here that think Spence will win although in sportsbook he is the favorite, so this thread is a bit bias, lol.. Anyway, as long as we will see a great fight, that would be so nice, whoever wins as long as it's an entertaining fight and both will make a good payday.

Spence is somehows people favorite since we can't deny that pacquaio is bit old and not totally in his 100% due to his political issues and I'm expecting that some people will bet on spence for practical reasons. But I will still support pacquaio on this fight since I still believe on his power. Also I hope pacquaio will be alright after this fight  many also worried about his health since he has a chance to get a awful disease if he's unlucky to receive a heavy punch from his opponent. Hopefully he will forget other things and remain focus on thus fight.

To know the votes of the posters here, I guess we have to request from @LFC_Bitcoin to put a poll on who will win in this fight.
But like you said, there's a lot of Filipino fans here, it would still be so obvious that they'll pick Pacquiao to win the fight.

I thought the odds will change in favor of Pacquiao, but it seems it's favoring Spence already as the odds for Pacquiao to win have increased to 2.80.

Mayweather always talks about being undefeated and declaring himself as the PPV king, well, he is right but if this fight will surpass the highest PPV sales in history, the only thing that Floyd could boost is only his undefeated record. I don't know if it will happen though as supposedly the live gate tickets should be sold out already at this time, and since this is a major event and people mostly stays at home, they'll certainly get a PPV to watch together with their family.

Yeah, that is Floyd's only argument against Manny, but we all know that the legacy is Manny is way above anyone else in the last 20 years, not even Floyd or Oscar Dela Hoya can match it. And lately we have seen Floyd fighting exhibition match, yes it will hurt his legacy, but as he admit it, he doesn't care.

Doesn't matter what the PPV numbers is, for sure this is a great fight that only Floyd wishes he can do. Fighting a young champion, Pacquiao surely will be one of the best if he retires and his name will always popup in the next 50 years.

May be Manny Pacquiao is a heavy underdog because Errol Spence Jr is from US and he is young and every odd makers think that he is going to win easily and there is a reason for that because is getting old and he might not be performing at his best at this age.

That's not the basis of favorites and underdogs. Odds providers are always looking at the current state of a boxer and on which Errol Spence Jr is currently on prime while Manny is doing and focused on several things at the same time.

Keith Thurman was also the favorite on Manny's last fight.

Betting on Manny  Pacquiao is worth a try.

PPV+Gate tickets = Overall sale

This is where counting or statistics do really matter and i dont know on whats the point on fighting for the highest one? For Mayweather on having that undefeated record then it is something

that you could really boast off considering on how many fights that he had but still remain on zero loss which is something that cant be achieved by anyone and until he retires then

it is something that he would really be proud of even though most of his fights are really spending mostly in running.  Cheesy

^^ I doubt that it will break into the top 5 much less in the top 10.

Probably around 400-600 thousand buys might be a good estimates at a stretch. Pre-pandemic, it might broke 1 million, and so far I haven't seen any reports of fight in 2021 that generated over 500k, Canelo Alvarez, the current cash cow, have sold 300k vs Smith.
They still have one month and days to sell this fight, I guess the PPV will be high and probably higher than Alvarez vs Smith as these two are champions and we know they are popular boxers especially Manny who is a legend. If they can at least sell 1 million PPV, that would be a huge income already for the two and Manny will not regret taking only the $5 million purse on this fight.

Even the live gate tickets is not yet sold out.

Where to monitor the status of this one?

I like to ask, what are the chances that this fight will beat the top 1 record of the highest PPV of all time?

here's the list -- https://www.essentiallysports.com/boxing-news-top-five-biggest-pay-per-views-in-boxing-history-floyd-mayweather-conor-mcgregor-manny-pacquiao-mike-tyson/

Quote
#1 Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao (5.77 million)
#2 Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor (5.17 million)
#3 Marvin Hagler vs Sugar Ray Leonard (3.15 million)
#4 Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson (2.72 million)
#5 Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield 2 (2.67 million)

If it will not beat the top 1, where do you think it will sit?

That's expensive if you are in the US, but if you are in the Philippines, you don't need to pay for that amount as our provider like Cignal TV could give a very good rate just like the Thurman vs Pacquiao fight.
Maybe, but if there's no other choice, I would take that amount since that's also the time where I can have my friends and family to come over my house and watch the fight together. Remember, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, spend on it and you'll get the best entertainment as a boxing fan

I don't try this one since I always find ways to watch the live match of Pacquiao on many platforms but if you are interested to know about the details about pricing and where to pay better check this https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-manny-pacquiao-vs-errol-spence-jr-tickets-how-buy-much-cost

For me I will just watch it via livestream on facebook since for sure many page will cover this fight and shared its livestream.

If it's available in local TV via PPV, then I guess it will be cheaper and we will have no major interruption. I watch some facebook streams and it's not stable, so I don't want to experience that again and I'm willing to pay a small amount just to watch it and satisfy me.

so this is the price based on the website you shared.

even at 3.0 odds, that's a very nice odds to bet on. hope you can get good income from this fight.

Nice that we got an answer here, but if they'll fix it they might fix the odds as well to be the same as what the other sites are offering. They have an ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5343931.140) which is good for a gambling, will follow this one and let's see if they still offer the best odds on this specific fight.

This is really true, a lot of us grew up watching his fights and up until now we are still watching him in this sports. That's really a legend! I bet a lot of his younger opponents at some point in their lives looked up at Pacquiao as their idol. And now, it is coming to reality to face him inside the ring. Very excited on this match and will be betting on Pacquiao here, even not a big bet. Win or lose, I'm with Pacquiao.
