Would really be an opportunity on fighting Pacquiao even though this fight is somewhat unexpected and i dont really believe that Ugas would just accept it if he knows that he doesnt really have the ample or right time to
train up himself.This does really proves out that he had trained enough on accepting the fight and for sure there are lots of people had already concluded that he wont having be a chance against Pacquiao.
Just out of curisoty about Ugas stats then this one has some decent record which is 26-4-0 but basing up only with the experience then we could really tell on who does have the edge.

I’m wondering for the same thing and it looks like the whole thing are being planned according to Many’s will. Despite of the record with Ugas and being an Olympic medalist, I also believe that Manny is too much for him and seeing the odds now, Manny leads on it. Maybe those who bought their ticket will refund it out of disappointment.

Indeed, therefore I will still watch this fight just to have fun, but when it comes to betting, I guess I'm not sure I'm willing to put on that odds. Ugas might lose here but the odds of MP are just too small to gamble. Maybe a KO win would be attractive and I'll try taking it when the odds are available.

I think if Pacquiao wins this fight, he is just taking the belt that he has won against Thurman, that was taken from him due to his inactivity during the covid-19 pandemic, now he is just taking his belt.

I do think it was offered to Mayweather but he would never accept this fight given that he had no prior practice or training beforehand.

While the fight between Pacquiao and Spence were immediately cancelled due to the latter's retina injury, Ugas, on the otherhand, is an interesting fighter. I heard someone mentioned that Ugas has the WBO welterweight belt that Pacquiao used to own and that fact alone makes the fight really interesting. Though not as interesting and explosive, at least there is something that drives Pacquiao to fight his very best against Ugas.

Personally, any fight that involves Pacquiao is a sight to behold. The fact that he is 43 years old and he still manages to fight in the ring is a privilege to us watchers and fans!

The fight between pacquio and ugas, it looks like it will be an easy fight for pacquio because from the statistics of the game pacquio is clearly better than ugas, even though ugas is the current WBA (Super) welterweight champion belt holder, but we know that the belt actually belongs to pacquio who was dismissed and given to Ugas because Pacquio has been out of boxing for a long time. honestly i would risk my money for pacquio's win in that fight.

he might run for the presidency, so maybe he does need it, or maybe not. that being said, I remember Manny saying that the reason why he still fights despite his age is that the hunger to fight is still there.

The politics makes more sense to me since running for a government post takes a lot of money. I don't really buy the legacy and love for the sport or hunger thing when he's fighting a replacement that's not even popular.

I think he just loves boxing so much he want to entertain us more. Who knows, maybe this will be his last game and we will surely miss him being on the boxing ring again. He will just become another story for us or history in our discussions. I believe he can still do this and much better, win it.
The fight will be on August 21 (night) for other countries while August 22 10AM for GMT+8 countries. This is going to be good. Of course, I will root for Pacquiao but I think I will pass with the bet.

afaik, This would obviously be very advantageous for Pacquaio himself, he has more plus points against a Ugas. How could they so easily find a replacement in such a short time? was too hasty to confront Ugas with Pacquaio. Obviously the bettors know who they should place their bets on. There will be a lot of negations if they offer this fight to Mayweather and besides Mayweather has just gone to a boxing match against Paul and he is resting, it will be a disadvantage for him if he agreed to fight and we all know how Mayweather thinks he will ask for big money, same with Crawford, he is left with Ugas who is also a champion, so let's see if Ugas can withstand Pacquiao.
